  1. So, in the black hole that was Vector's mod admin application, Gwoash used a secondary account to essentially trash-talk Vector without people realizing that it was him. Now, it's pretty likely that those responsible for de-railing (and furthering the de-railing) of vector's thread will be punished, I'd like to discuss whether or not those who use secondary accounts as a shield in order to cause trouble without facing any serious consequences should receive a more serious punishment.

  2. narukami because even though he may be a good guy, he will favoritize a

I am absolutely certain that there will be favoritism if Narukami gets DL of Minecraft (not just in terms of promotions, but in-game stuff as well), which is why I'd be very hesitant to promote him. I'd like to see if Dethman can actually prove his ability to run the server, perhaps a trial run might be the best option (i.e. let him have DL powers for a couple of weeks to see if he's actually capable of running minecraft, and if he turns out to be a shitter we just remove the powers). CL's do have the ability to remove anyone from promo/demo's if necessary.

  3. No. You were given one chance. You were explicitly told not to give anyone admin in that channel. It hasn't even been two weeks, and you instantly gave it away. What was put in that room was completely unacceptable, and since you were supposed to be the only one with access to that channel you should be held accountable for whats put inside it.

    This.

  4. As Silence said, I really like this general set of rules. I'd really like to get a little bit more involved with the tf2 division and figure out how we can help improve it (at least the general attitude within the servers/division community). Spring break is coming up for me in about 1.5 weeks, meaning that I should have a pretty large chunk of free time on my hands. From what I've seen, much of the recent drama we've had has come almost exclusively from the tf2 division, so I'd really like to be a part of the process of "cleaning it up" (for lack of a better phrase).

  5. There's a mass leaving? Only about 5-7 people have actually left last time I checked, and the people who left for negative reasons seem to have left for somewhat unrelated reasons. Bach left because he didn't enjoy the "constant drama" (which is somewhat understandable), Patient Zero just seems to be the standard "fuck this clan" type leaving, and Christian's leaving appears to be related to Bach's reason as well. The rest of the people (which is really only like 3-5 people tops) appear to just be band-wagoning. Pretty tame "mass leaving" as far as I can tell, we've had much worse in the time that I've been here imo.

EDIT: also Bach had been talking about leaving xG for some time and Forge said that he would leave him with him, so that explains part of it.

  6. Seriously?

There's no reason to remove his membership. First things first, the workplace comparison is totally inappropriate given the circumstances. We are an internet gaming clan, almost universally comprised of memers and trolls. We are the shit-stain at the bottom of the filthy-ass scumbucket that is the internet. On a regular basis, people say much worse things on TS and we're totally fine with it. People in this thread use the word "nigger" in their regular vocabulary (*cough* @Kyoko *cough*) yet they're never punished. Why? Because we know that they're not fucking racist. Just because Iggy changes his name to Captain Nazi on steam, changes his avatar and status to a swastika, does not mean that he's a racist. Iggy doesn't have steam groups dedicated to hating ethnic and religious minorities, he doesn't go on rants on TS about how much he hates jews, blacks and immigrants, so from what I can tell he's not a racist. For pete's sake people, there's a nazi server group on TS. Do we punish those people because this makes them automatically racists and terrible people? Of course not. If you honestly think that Iggy should have his membership revoked, then about 50%+ of xenogamers also needs to have their membership revoked.

  7. I really see no reason to just give the server over to Wonkee. From what I've heard/seen (which isn't a ton I'll admit, but enough to form an opinion) Haxx and Kirito seem fully capable of running our minecraft servers, and to me it doesn't make any sense to outsource our server to Wonkee while having to both pay for the server and have to put it under a different name. That's like building a restaurant and paying for the rent and all the associated expenses, but someone else gets to put their name on the sign and collect all the earnings, while you get diddly. Additionally, I have had pretty much no interaction with Wonkee, and I have no real reason to trust him over two people I've known for nearly the entirety of my time here at xG.

  8. From ChickenPanda's story, along with a quick look at your previous names to confirm ChickenPanda's story (link) it's pretty clear that you were trolling, or at the very least were changing your tags with the intent to frustrate/anger ChickenPanda as much as possible. ChickenPanda didn't "fail to communicate" because chat was being spammed. If you have been warned by a staff member for violating sever rules, and you're ignorant to the rules to the point that you didn't realize that you had to be in xenogamers in order to wear the xG tags, your eyes best be glued to your screen watching chat for any other warnings. If a staff member makes it as abundantly clear as possible (as ChickenPanda did) that you are breaking rules, and you continue to troll/loophole, don't be surprised when you see a ban coming your way. I see no reason to remove this ban, unless someone presents me with some evidence that would suggest the contrary. Judging from your posts, you're pretty clearly just a troll.
