IDK, I think it's beyond disgusting, but personal opinions probably shouldn't factor into this, otherwise we would have threads to remove the furry/scaly/whatevertagidon'tlike every other day. However, I think there is a perfectly legitimate reason for removing the tag if the fetish in question is illegal in 25 US states and most of Canada.

I think we'll end the discussion there. This thread has spiraled way out of control and while everyone is entitled to their own opinion, some of the comments in this thread are super unnecessary and really uncalled for.

I just find it funny that you higher ups had to wait for someone else to condemn an act before you guys say anything lmao. I mean considering people have had a problem and voiced their concerns for months while you guys haven't done shit about it. I don't have a problem with Tuna, and i hope he succeeds as an admin, and i'm not condoning what Skelly did but at the same time, i can understand the frustration of a few members and air their grievances. Also, saying someone's problem with another person as just some sort of obsession is incredibly childish in itself, if you felt that there has been animosity between two staff members, shouldn't you and the rest of the higher ups try to calm the situation down and have a sit down between the individuals? From what i'm hearing and from what i've talked to with the other higher ups, nothing gets done about these situations and this is why it's incredibly poorly handled.
 
Also, if you feel a flame war is going off then you have every right to close a thread. i have no idea why you guys would allow a thread like this to keep open but i guess that's your own decision.
 
Again, i hope Tuna proves everyone wrong and is a great admin but if it gets to the point that people are THIS upset about it then i feel it falls on the head of higher ups and not communicating and not calming down these situations. Good luck tuna.
 
Skelly has never been a problem before this situation (at least as far as i know) so it's clear that something is wrong. He was one of the most level headed admins and did his job fantasticly, again i'm not saying what he did was right nor am i saying i agree with his comments.

While I agree with your statement in a general sense, I think it's an awful idea to open up the door to, "I'm leaving because ____ got admin." or, "I don't like ____" or, "_____ is toxic." Any grievances with anyone should be compiled into abuse reports so that the problem can actually be solved. I wasn't around, but from what I've picked up, there was period within this clan where quite a few people were stepping down or leaving because of admin positions, specific promotions, etc, and that doesn't seem like a great time.
 
My point merely is, claiming someone is toxic and having no, or only anecdotal evidence, doesn't do anything to improve the situation, and probably just heightens aggression. I realize however that this is probably not the only reason for Skeletal stepping down, and I wish him the best in whatever he does from here on out (in fact I hope he might come back some day).
 

Nobody likes bullshit drama, but people can have issues with each other and state them without it developing into that, Tatost. If tuna is part of the reason he stepped down, that's fine, he's at no fault for stating it. I think Tuna's a nice enough guy but I'm not jumping on Skeletal here simply because he might have issues with Tuna that I've never known about. Also, if you don't want a situation to develop into a "firefight" you probably shouldn't belittle anyone by implying that they're immature or unfit for staff simply because of an opinion.

saying reasons why you don't think someone should be staff as long as it is not in a disrespectful plain bashing/shit talk way is better on forums than private. You can accomplish so much more when your "dirty laundry" is aired publicly than private because when 1 person says something, others that feel similar then feel more open to air their thoughts and experiences on the matter. If you keep it private between the 2 of you, maybe it helps maybe it doesn't or maybe said individual is better around you so you have no reason to start complaining.
 
Either way, he has every right to state his reasons for stepping down. Whether you like it or not because "that's my friend!" doesn't matter at all, it's his reason. The more immature one would be the person saying "take it to PM" yet coming back and making responses that I can summarize very simply to "that's my friend, bye felicia good riddance"

In case anyone's confused, I'll try to explain the differences, if someone wants to give the actual names for each one, feel free, I don't remember and don't have them all downloaded atm.
 
- We have the first Goldenrod with textures from the original GB/GBC original Gold/Silver/Crystal games, made to-scale with the characters from TF2. This is the one where projectiles and bullets will not pass through trees. (The Original.)
 
- We have the second Goldenrod, made by Cold Endeavor (I think), this version is slightly smaller than the original Goldenrod, and is notable for its skybox (accessible via noclip), as well as its "purple-ish" water. Within this map, projectiles and bullets will pass through trees.
 
- We have the third and final Goldenrod. This one is notable for its textures and models from the DS' Heart-Gold/Soul-Silver versions. (I also think it can only be "night" on the map, but I don't remember and can't check atm.) Within this map, projectiles and bullets will pass through trees. (This map is also the only one with the train rail elevated above the main road near read spawn.) Essentially this map just looks better.

You say that we have little variety but we have 3 of the same map just small tweaks that hardly make them unique and then 3 other entirely new maps. If you're saying that 3 of the same map, 2 of which being just day/night, is a variety, that's wacky.

Uh Variety isn't in these maps. and there isn't only 2 maps in rotation even after 2 removed. Getting rid of redundant maps is part of variety. I don't understand what you're saying could you clarify.

I think it's time to clean out these goldenrod maps. I get it's the most popular map, but it's like Tgh having 2 clocktowns or surf having 2 air arenas. It's time for some of them to go in my opinion. Pokemon needs more maps anyways.

Maybe keep the updated one and keep one of the original goldenrods?

Going as far to say walking in front of you just to get you caught is just plain hilarious. Because if they were walking in front of you so you wouldn't bump them and get you caught. How do you know they were running in front of you in the first place? Nextly It's hilarious how you're pulling the "I wasn't either every single time I killed one of the spies instead of going a different class to possibly combat me they continued to respawn run out of spawn and cloak and dagger and wait for me to either bump/hit them."
