Hi guys, we're looking for a few staff members to help out on server launch. Obviously we will be taking regular applications and considering active players etc, but initially we are looking for a couple experienced staff members willing to make sure the first few days/weeks are running smoothly. Reply here, add me, pm me, whatever and you'll be considered :)
 
Note, this is just for regular moderator positions.

There's a pastebin of you steam calling someone, then giving them information regarding their IP. This information includes approximate location and ISP. In case you didn't realize it, saying that "I can ddos but i am not a asshole", and "do you want 3000 packets on your thing." isn't a great idea. That kind of behavior is not tolerated here.

Edit: Just found out you did this to multiple people. Don't bother trying another ban protest later.

Having spent some more time thinking about this I'm having a hard time figuring out some actual good uses for a admin/mod forum. Mods and Admins honestly aren't anything special and most issues either get brought up to dms/dls or are discussed here on forums and then get resolved (usually within 24hrs).
 
@MineCrack has a good point. Why do we need to keep stuff hidden between divisions? I personally get on TF2 sometimes and if rules were considered being changed i would like to be able to discuss it with others, or atleast get to know about it. Members are also as encouraged to discuss rules and report glitches as anyone else and taking that away from them and locking them behind a forum just makes thing hard for the community to voice their opinions. The only thing i can see this being used for is drama, and that's not a good enough reason to have one imo.
 
EDIT: Besides, there's already an admin forum for people that are dm+

I personally think this is a great idea because we can hide the activity of each division from each other. This is also good because we successfully achieve our goal here of segregating all of the divisions even further.
 

1. I'm super comfortable using both, I'm active on my own accounts daily.
2. I was thinking maybe there was someway we could give credits to people who follow up and like our page as long as people who are recruited from our website, other than that I'm willing to look into anything that would help the community grow.
3. Absolutely, within a few hours I'll be able to post updates along with any minor stuff too.

I know how to use social media, I'm not experienced in increasing traffic for our site and servers but I would really like to learn and grow the community.

1: How comfortable are you with Facebook and Twitter?
2: What are some ways you are planning to generate traffic on our Facebook + Twitter page?
3: Will you be able to do the bare minimum and constantly post huge updates on our facebook+twitter within a good time frame?

So as I'm sure all of you know I've been inactive as fuck and I think it is about time I say why
couple of swears ahead
 
So, I live in a shitty little village in the middle of fucking nowhere with my mother in a decent house. My mother had to work 2 jobs to help us to keep the house, pay gas/electricty/internet etc... I did what I could to help as well. Now, my mother's second job was a bartender at a local Masonic Lodge, it paid good money, was fun, plenty of friends and member of the lodge from around the village to talk to and have drinks with. Then the Lodge got a new Owner the fucking asshole thought that the "social" side of the lodge was taking over and decided to make the lodge members only disallowing anyone from the general public to enter and fired all the barstaff including my mother meaning she had to rely on money coming from her main job : managing the kitchen of the local primary school, which was an extremely low paying job but she enjoyed it. So cue our old ISP cutting me off and having to rely on my close friends internet connection to try and keep up with things happening, Obviously I couldn't and I am extremely sorry @Bello for having to do things for me.
 
Now, Back in August I managed to secure a place in a Higher National Degree course in Computing Software Development and am still studying it right now. I then applied for Student Loans to try and help my mother pay for gas/electricity and get an internet connection again.
 
So Back in approx 10 - 12th November I sent out for Sky Broadband Unlimited to get back online.
 
I received the Sky Hub on 24th November which came in a fancy little box, the Hub is like a weird finnicky plastic gloss black box. The engineer visit to actually install the phone line was on 1st December, it went by smoothly, all the wires were there, none were broken so all good. Then he went to test the wires, They were ALL dead, no signal coming through at all, so he went outside to check the telephone pole connecting to my house, Big fucking Giant red D on it, for dangerous, meaning it's unsafe for a signal to be sent through. Engineer says that the wires on the pole would need to be rewired, some guys will come to do it tomorrow, "YOU DONT HAVE TO BE IN THE HOUSE". Cue the next day, I get a message from sky saying an engineer was unable to access the house to install the phone line, WHICH IS ALREADY INSTALLED. So the fucking engineers didnt fucking bother to fix the telephone pole when they saw I wasnt in my home despite not needing to be there. So I call up sky saying so and all they fucking say is they have to reschedule and "IF YOU ARENT IN THE NEXT TIME YOU WILL BE CHARGED" shit. The earliest reschedule they had that I would have been in my home was another week, 8th December, yesterday. The engineer came round walked in and saw that the line was installed and said "OH, THAT'S INSTALLED", The fucking person at sky I called up didnt say they had to fix the telephone pole so the engineer was unprepared. He then went outside, checked the pole, talked on the phone for about an hour and told me that it may be another TWO FUCKING WEEKS before it is fixed...
 
 
SO I AM HAVING A GREAT FUCKING WINTER...
 
TL:DR : mom got fired from one of 2 jobs, wasnt getting money, couldnt afford internet, got in college, got student loan, sent out for internet, got it installed, phone line is broken, engineers are shit

So what happened was basically athrun joined the jailbreak server and told me to put 3 type-able English letters in my name even though I did "..." then I said they are 3 type-able letters and then he said he wants English letters once again filled with power thinks he can control me. I asked @Lithium for confirmation and this is what lithium said "
7:38 PM - xGDLithium: and yes 3 dots is fine" Then once again he said to change my name and I spammed what lithium said 3 times and he said stop spamming and then I said "If you kick me for my name, I will get your mod removed" of course trying to make him back off because I am not breaking any rules of the server. Then he says "Are you threatening me? Cause if you are I will permanently ban you" I aggravated him saying " do it" because he has no right to do so abusing and full with his moderation powers trying to get me banned for no reason. He then bans me, I have no idea for how long but im sure its for a long time because he said it would be permanent even though moderators cannot permanently ban me. Sizzle and bulleye and simple duck and a lot of more people were there. Athrun has always been like this full with power thinking he can do whatever he wants and tries to control people. This is not a good moderator of the server at all. If you threaten to permanently ban me for no reason I will aggravate you because if you do there will be consequences.
