I don't see why that would be a problem. If you're going to complain about Xenogamers censoring slurs of any kind for whatever reason then I think you should complain about respecting other players rule as well. If what you want is to use slurs on the servers, plenty of people are going to abuse that. You already see people join the server occasionally spouting out the n-word like it's nothing just to start shit and are gagged/muted/kicked/banned for it and I would personally rather not have those people stick around just because you wanted to joke around with your friend.
 

That's probably because a lot of people are afraid to speak their voice. I know I've heard some condescending things said about minorities on the servers before but, in all honesty, I'd rather not say anything because I don't really want to argue with that person, especially if they got a good portion of the server convinced that a particular group of people are bad because they are different.

Please keep in mind that staff is made up of human beings that interpret things differently. What's bad to one person could be completely fine to another and if someone is unsure they'd ask for a second opinion on the situation. This happens all the time with non-racial slurs like "fag" and causes confusion among staff members. While it is allowed in some cases, other times it's not and people constantly check if the word is used maliciously or not.

Please do not -1 someone if you have 0 knowledge of how this person is in/out of game, this helps the higher ups make a decision with the utmost accuracy by being aware that the decision from the community isn't based on a mob mentality.

Once again the Xenogamers community has disappointed me with players who get offended when they come across straight up absurdity. You really shouldn't take such an obnoxious name that seriously, I don't know if you're genuinely offended or just mad at the player and want to get back at him in some sort of way but either way you should probably stop playing Rated M video games online until you're 17.

Honestly I agree with Supreme on this, most of his bans and mutes are invalid, the ban that was actually valid was about two years ago. Given the fact that it has been a long time since he's had a valid punishment, we should refresh him on the rules instead of just going right out and banning him. +1 for a warning

2 of the 3 gags are valid, they do lack reasons though. These gags took place 2-3 years ago so a warning would be fair at this current moment.
 

3 of the 4 bans are invalid, and are not to be counted. The only server ban was by Chicken Panda and that was 1 hour.

Although their behavior is disgusting... they were warned about it a long time ago, so it would be fair to give them a friendly refresher about it and if they continue, then action should be taken.

Won't lie, I skimmed most of the posts here, but I'm just going to throw this out there: y'all are [probably] over-thinking this entire situation. Back before this was such a huge deal, we had one golden rule that blanketed everything and it was this (ye old fags will remember this one):
 
if you wouldn't be caught dead viewing whatever it is you're looking at on the servers at a professional level (IE. at work, school, etc), then it most likely isn't PG13 and thus should not be permitted. Or to put this in an even more concise way, if you wouldn't want your teacher/professor/superior seeing you looking at it, odds are it is not PG13.
 
That is literally the easiest way to go about it without throwing a wrench into the whole thing by asking what "nudity" is defined as (seriously?) or whether a spray is acceptable/unacceptable. With that said, come on people; go to a beach and then go to a 'nudist' beach if you need a clear definition of what constitutes nudity.
 
As for everything else, use your common sense because for the thousandth time, it does not matter if it's a minor/animal/cartoon in a sexualized position, it's still a freaking 'something' that is emphasizing the whole sexualized aspect. Therefore, it is not allowed on our Servers and should thus be punished accordingly by the rules set-in-place.

It is by adressing issues like these we grow as a community and hopefully makes xg a better place for all of us! There are a couple of points in your post i would like to adress and discuss, hopefully that's ok.
 

xG is privately owned which means that we are allowed to set our own rules and regulations that our users have to follow. We as a community has chosen to disallow the word in question, if you agree with it or not thats up to you.

This is actually a pretty valid point and i want to expand a bit of why you think this is. The problem is that we're all separate individuals with different views and morals. You're right that a lot of rules do leave a lot of stuff up to interpretation for staff which is when these opinions and views come into play and sometimes might create conflicts and inconsistency depending on which staff is online at the time. This is something we're working towards resolving but it might take us a little while as things like this does take a lot of discussion to make things as fair as possible. Feel free to check out this thread as an example of what we did not too long ago.

We have always punished people for saying the word and always will. Even in the event it was not seen as offensive, it would still be loop-holing into saying the actual word. The whole Loli thing has already been discussed, you can see the results of that here: We should remove lolacon title. | Xeno Gamers. Completely removing the rules on slurs altogether would cultivate an absolutely toxic environment, so there is absolutely no way we will EVER do that. Please think before you make posts like this, it's really obvious why it's not allowed, it's common sense.

I mean it's a slur because of the backing behind the word. The word itself isn't the problem but how it was used in the past is the reason for it being a slur. Like yeah, the word was kinda flipped by the black community the same can be said for "Faggot" and the gay community but that doesn't make the word not offensive to people.

more notoriety for absolutely no reason. You can do a simple fucking google search and learn that Nigga
is used in a positive way unlike Nigger. I understand that the word has evil roots but that's really no excuse.

Really xG staff needs to either get more consistent with their policies or just get rid of punishment for slurs altogether
