Having a history of "berating and insulting members of the server" should not be used as a means of justifying a player's CT ban. This sort of judgement would better suit a Member Protest since it does not really have a direct correlation to being on the CT side.
 
That being said, intentional or not, OP should take this time to review the MotD rules as there seems to be a lack of judgement on his/her part; especially considering this ban was dealt today and the player has a history of freekilling (found Here). I'd recommend that the offending player remain permanently banned indefinitely until he/she can demonstrate a clear improvement in his/her knowledge of the MotD rules :coffee:

While I do agree with you, and you are correct, I don't feel it should be kept to the maximum of keeping it permanent.
Since you punished him and know the exact situation as to how it was (him not paying attention, not just flat out massing) I don't feel it should be permanent. But again, that's just me.

Since the banning staff member said he thought it was an accident, I've shortened it to 2 weeks, as is typical for accidental masses. That being said, do not expect to have bans removed or shortened in the future for accidental things, as CTs are fully expected to be paying attention during rounds and know the rules.

I joined this clan when tf2 was pretty small. Along the way I made a lot of friends and racked up 4k+ hours on the servers. I had great times in teamspeak and in game. You guys were the fucking best and helped me coped with the hell known as high school. Being open about what I like the most (anime) has gotten me tormented. However, its summer and I am attending college in summer. This brought me to my decision to quit gaming all together.
 
I also have type 4 nucleonic syndrome so I cannot be around computer/router waves. Another reason for me to leave.

The reason we have swapteam is for these instances. You don't just serverban right after 2 freekills if they're accidental. I'd even bet that most admins would only slay, and just teamban for the next freekill.

Any further bans I see that do not have a valid reason will be immediately unbanned, without consultation of the banning admin. This includes but is not limited to "are you fuking retarded?", "wtf are you thinking", and "wtf is wrong with you"

Relevant to this [but not to the thread], it may make things a lot easier for Higher-Ups (or for Ban Protests in general) if players who are banned for mass freekilling were given a reason such as "int mass" or "acc mass" as opposed to just "mass freekill" or "mass". It's a small thing, but this way you guys will know whether a mass freekill was intentional or accidental.
 
Just a thought because I noticed that the majority of bans for mass freekilling is simply just "mass" and it'd make future Ban Protests a lot easier to verify since it won't rely on the Staff Member remembering the incident first hand.

First off, no, nobody shot you, two of us were chasing you around the map and once we got close to you, you spun around and said "fuck youuu youll never take me aliveeeeee!" and killed both of us ending the round.
 
I banned you for a day, and the message about you being fucking retarded was a legitimate question, how you would blatantly just freekill and end the round like that in front of staff was beyond me, especially since yoou play here often and you know the rules.
 
Also, when told that was harsh, I said I dont give a fuck, he freekilled for no reason.
 
Youre banned for a day. The fact that youd even make a ban protest and then LIE in it instead of just waiting out the 24 hours makes me not want to see you unbanned.

There must be problems with the british servers, or I think there's problems with the servers connecting to your IP and not finding the xGCL tag in your name, I would definitely find those to be the problem
 
@PlaysWithSquirrels I played with an ap cait support in ranked last season when her traps still did AP scaling damage, and she almost hard carried the game, quite the top kek. Jhin is op, bronze is even more OP

Hello, I wanted to have some discussion over the current rules for Jailbreak, and ask that we make a few things clear or at least in the open as there was debate between myself and the other Community leaders on how I used to have the rules to how they have them now. Silence agreed with me on the Tarping section, but I'd rather first get the community's opinion on how people prefer things to be.
 
1. Tarping:
The current rule is
Tarping - Giving orders that contradict or conflict with each other. Tarping is ONLY allowed after 3 minutes and 3 orders have gone by.

Example: "Jumping is restricted, crouching is restricted, standing is restricted, wasd freeze. Now all of you go to big cage or be killed".

Now, the reason tarping not being allowed in the first 3 minutes was implemented in the first place was because 4-5 years ago in CSS jailbreak, Warden would say "when cell doors open and I say Joe*, come out and afk freeze" but they would say Go and then kill everyone who came out for not "paying attention". The current rules would imply that CT's are completely allowed to do this because technically this is not a contradiction or conflict with any of the warden's rules because he said Joe is the safe word, but he used the word Go to "tarp" the T's into an early death.
 
Similar situation in the Carceris(?) map when the Warden says "T's are not allowed to jump on boxes or ladder in pit" and then they tell the T's "please come out of the pit and freeze" pretty much killing every T who doesn't know there's one location in the pit you can jump up the wall. This is another example of "Tarp" that is completely fair game currently due to the rules in place.
 
My problem lies with the fact that the rule against Tarping should prevent these situations, because the term Tarping originally came from the Warden's vocal "trap/trick" that would consistently kill off a majority of T's early in the round every map.
 
The change I would like to see is:
Tarping - Giving orders that contradict, conflict with each other, or trick the T's by wordplay or restrictions. Tarping is ONLY allowed after 3 minutes and minimum 3 orders have gone by. Only the Warden may tarp T's (I feel this is another good part to this rule due to not wanting to rebel against any CT giving CT's easy leverage for T's to listen, but we can debate that as well)

Example: "All T's are not allowed to be on the boxes and ladders while you're in pit, feel free to run around" "Okay all T's please come out of pit and freeze"
Example: "All T's when I say Go please come out of your cells and freeze" "Joe!"

2. LR's
The two things I want to change, are

Do not Rebel during your Last Request without using the option in the menu *and you may not Rebel at all after using LR once until the next round*

The reason for this is apparently a lot of people still have the impressions that this is still a rule as it used to be in the past, but there's no clarification so I'd say to keep everyone happy to just add it into the MOTD.
 
2.You may not have a 'Custom Last Request', you must use the menu *unless the CT agrees to the conditions and it doesn't break any rules*
Example: Map Games (Death Run, Climb, Soccer, Etc)*

This is pretty self explanatory, some games in the maps are just never able to be utilized, so this gives the T's who have LR their choice (if the CT allows it) to play some of the map games as a reward for their survival.
 
That's pretty much it, I feel like these changes will improve the server but I'm happy with discussion if there's good points against it.

So there's no confusion, it should be blind-draft. Not Draft. You will each say 3 bans to each other that you both aren't allowed to play, and then blind pick. Draft mode leaves the person on the red side with an advantage due to easy counter pick.
 
Also, the game should be done on summoner's rift. If you play on the aram map, you can't back or buy I believe so it's more stale. Lane can be discussed with the individuals playing. Also if you're playing against Owl, just ban riven and easywin easylife
