Videos like this prove that they freekilled and were doing it for fun. In no way does a video of rule breakers in a ban request thread "prove" "tf2 side of xg is superior".
I'm going to preface this with saying that there is no side of xg that is better: but using your "logic" the CS side is better.
 
less ban protests meaning either less rule breakers or staff actually doing their duty as staff. In the history of xg even though tf2 has always been more populated (larger mass of players, it's F2P... need i say more?) a resounding majority of the "C" positions (Co leader, community manager, Community leader) have been from the CS:(S/GO) divs. Aegean, Virr, Forest, Hidingmaster, Trollface, Duckii, Bleed, Aegean again (I think at one point, we had brian as well but he was shared. he came from CS, but took over as DL for TF2). TF2 has had kbrassz and Scootaloo. It must mean something that CS div has had significantly more people higher than the "necessary" roles of DL/DM. Now that my rant on your completely un-necessary and flat out wrong comment. We are not 2 sides of xg, we are 1 xg. try to get along, keep the memeing and trolling down.

An issue that we have on our servers is our treatment of slurs and offensive words. We don’t allow racial slurs and other vocabulary made to demean and offend, something that benefits the servers, But one word escapes this rule

It is ridiculous that it is allowed considering the fact that the servers have such a large LGBTQ+ presence , but that is why this thread was made, to discuss and push the fact that it really should not be allowed. On Top of the fact that is offensive and often used in toxic ways, it paints the server as hypocritical. Why ban some slurs and not others? I have often kicked/muted people for slurs who then start saying faggot asking why this is allowed, why am I not muting them. It is a bad message to send. I know that there are people who wish to keep their right to openly say slurs (despite no real reason to) but really it is detrimental to the message we are trying to send and does nothing beneficial to the servers.
 
So I ask that we vote, to enforce a ban on the word, a notion me and other mods, try to enforce already, as it hurts us, hurts them, hurts us all and sends a hypocritical message to any new and veteran players.

So I've been playing the servers a lot more recently and have found a good way to space out my time. I miss being a staff member quite a lot and sometimes when I'm on a server and someone is rule breaking I feel like a retired detective wanting to get back onto to force. I'm responsible, a good role-model and the cooler twin out of me and @Kypari ?
See, I would apply straight for Admin (having been one previously); I know all of the system rules and know the admin handbook like the back of my hand and feel as though I could be trusted enough to be one again. However, I have decided to apply for Moderator as I want to prove to everyone that as a result of being a young carer for my girlfriend (who suffers with myalgic encephalomyelitis) I've matured a lot since I was last here and that I'm very much capable of these kind of responsibilities. I'm loving being involved in the community again and I would love it even more to rejoin the staff team.
I thought I'd see what everyone thinks about me being staff again.

This shouldn't even be a thread. The plugin needs to be looked at role by role so that those that need to be altered or disabled can been done before throwing them on the server and it especially should have been removed when the more damaging exploit became obvious until that can be fixed.
