Bug Reports/Suggestion Thread

I had an idea of sorts for FF2. Limit the /ff2boss command to Donators only. Why? There's a rule where people aren't allowed to spam being the same boss over and over again and it's not being enforced, plus with the re-addition of Play Points, those same people have been spamming Hyper Heavy/520 Scout bosses. It'll stop spam and maybe even influence people to donate. Just an idea

It already was, but people got upset about that which caused the population to drop. I had to make it public again.

Server(s): FF2/Deathrun

 

This is mostly sound/music suggestions, so here goes...

Bowser: Currently has no sounds, intro, or music. I can make kill sounds/rage sounds/etc. and I suggest this be the music:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vU3Fw8JiLI

 

Captain Falcon: Not needed, but am suggesting this as a change: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwshHsUG-ls

 

Sandmen: Again, not 100% necessary, but current "music" is annoying as hell and needs to be changed. 99% of FF2 players will agree. Suggesting this instead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lV3WWT608FE

 

Demopan: Limit his charging ability somehow, since currently he can charge infinitely (Not due to PlayPoints)

 

Hatsune Miku: Lower base speed from 520 to literally anything else (Again not due to

PlayPoints)

 

Daft Punk: Can charge their teleport before the round starts, and can teleport into RED's spawn as soon as the round begins. Maybe block teleport abilities until 10 seconds have passed after round starts?

 

Hitler: Gets rage far too quickly. Barely any damage gives him full rage, so Flamethrower + Uber

 

Deathrun: Add Bhopping to Deathrun but limit the maximum speed you can acquire via Bhopping. Should add something refreshing to the gamemode as well as speeding up some rounds on longer maps. Most maps include a Speed Bar for Death so it's not like he'll get left behind easily, plus he could always Bhop himself. Another reason is that I feel some maps make traps that are nearly impossible to pass without either one person dying, or Death having bad timing. This would make things slightly easier for players, but not by a large margin

bumped up hitlers rage damage from 1000 to 4000

added the songs except falcons (I like his :P)

Demopans charge is hardcoded into the ff2_1st_set_abilities.smx plugin file where it resets the charge after every press of the charge button, When I get time I'll attempt to make it so it resets to 70 - 80% but knowing me I'll probably break it :(

I'm not really sure about why daft punk can teleport like that

mikus speed was due to 520 scout because I changed the wrong config for her :P (I've fixed it now)

When you do make the bowser sounds send me a message on steam or make a convo on the forum

For some reason Demopan's speed has majorly decreased. Demopan is as slow as Heavydile.

Not fixed. Her class is still set to scout, meaning that you can get 520 speed through !playpoints. (So change her class to sniper or something in the config files.)

 

EDIT: Suggestion: Add vsh_2fortdesk_v8 (Map link: vsh_2fortdesk_v8 (Team Fortress 2 > Maps > Versus Saxton Hale) - GAMEBANANA) rip broken map

For some reason Demopan's speed has majorly decreased. Demopan is as slow as Heavydile.

 

Not fixed. Her class is still set to scout, meaning that you can get 520 speed through !playpoints. (So change her class to sniper or something in the config files.)

I dont know why demopan slowed down I didn't even touch him, I'll have a look at his config

 

As for miku SHE'S BEING A FUCKING BITCH She has 2 configs 1 for VSH and 1 for FF2 I changed ff2 initially which didnt work so I changed the VSH and now the FF2 one has to be changed again so NOW she SHOULD work
