I just wanted to say I think Darkwolf has been doing a great job of the division leader since he was promoted. He has listened to everyone's request. Took it upon himself in updating the servers with new maps and is slowly making the server better. I see a rise in the Jailbreak population already. Keep updating stuff, adding plugins, and adding maps, you are doing great dark. @@DarkWolf6052

Because this right here is exactly why Members/Players can mass freekill intentionally and expect to be unbanned. Because of this "unfair" factor. It's maddening; the amount of Players/Members who have been using that excuse to bend a Higher-Up's judgement, and the fact that it actually works. Your proposal of "setting it in stone" was already set by myself on multiple occasions, yet for reasons unknown, Players/Members are still slipping through the cracks because of rash and blind +1s from our Members/Players. Here are the most recent Ban Protests I have replied to if you really need to see the "set in stone" in action: (Source: whitestar - Counter-Strike: Source) (Source: Morgan_Freeman - Counter-Strike: Source) What no one seems to get or realize, is that if you people keep living in the past by saying "This guy got off scot-free, why shouldn't this guy" then we aren't going to get anywhere and we might as well remove permanent bans. I don't know how many times I've had to bring up the fact that these are two entirely different situations, and therefore cannot be compared but here I go again: 1. This was an intentional mass freekill, it was done with the intention of breaking rules, and Lapis was completely aware of his actions. It was in no way, accidental. 2. Warrior, on the other hand, did something as he thought it was the right thing to do. He did it with the intention of Enforcing rules which could have been done in a different way, but the intention was to "maintain the peace". He was in no-way smiting everyone because he wanted to nor did he do it with the intention of trolling/screwing everything up. It just so happens that what he did was a terrible idea, but whether or not it was stupid, it is not the same thing. I don't mean to muck up this thread with this, but seriously; you people gotta draw the line and stop coming up with excuses to allow someone to get unbanned. As much as I love Lapis, he intentionally broke the rules for the sole purpose of doing it, he knew what his actions would warrant, and therefore he should be punished accordingly. Just because someone else is 1-up'ing for the reason that "other people have done it and got away with it" doesn't mean you should automatically agree for the same reason. TL;DR - Stop comparing a Mass Freekill to the incident with Warrior's "smite@all". Tested adding models on the Test server, for some reason it turns us into error models. I'm trying to work on the bomb plugin, it's got its own problems, it worked the first map I added it, then suddenly stopped doing damage next map. The bombs still exploded, and large was over powered as FUCK the first time, but I think I fixed that. Only problem with this bomb plugin I added is it doesn't register as a kill, and there isn't an option to do that with, so basically the kill feed shows the T and CT(s) dying.

Getting this message through will do nothing unless you do something about it. Or urge your division leaders/managers to do something about it. This is the 6th (?) one? It's such a joke now that people do it for fun and get unbanned. It's easy. All we need to do is set a date that. Once it reaches that date we will no longer accept any ban protests for an intentional mass freekill. I feel it should be this way already but, how fair is to leave him banned when we unban others who do the same. I have a date. How about today.

Aegean left the clan, still hops on occasionally and has his own TS. Serbian still sticks around and is sometimes in TS. Ducki Jr got permed. And Duckii left/got banned but still plays with us sometimes. A lot of the older guys stick around in aegean's TS.

Stop being one sided guys. If you were to be slain for an unjust reason, you would be pretty upset and most likely say something out of sheer anger. Albeit it's not something that should be practised, but it does happen occasionally from our players, and Moderators/Administrators should account for that before gagging so abruptly. Come on, cut the guy some slack. He was just slain out of the blue without a single warning, and then found out that the slay was completely unjustified, interrupting what could have been a fine round of Wardening. Is that not more than enough reason to have a couple of words slip out due to frustration and anger toward the Staff Member who dealt the slay? As John said, if you are completely sure that what happened justifies a slay, then do it. But if you aren't 100% sure, then ask first. You can't be 80% sure, you can't be 90% sure, you have to be 100%, lest you end up free slaying. As long as it's on xG servers, it doesn't really blemish xG's reputation with all the other children acting up ^_^!

Same goes for Ban Request and Ban Protest. Reason being, it's completely up to the Divison Manager(s) and Division Leader(s) of the respective Division it occurs in. For Member Protests, it's up to the Co-Leader(s) and Leader. The community gives their input on how they feel, but the Decision is up to the Managers/Leaders.
