There's no Matsi rating. -
2 pointsAt least put a basic version on there. Then, after you continue adding more plugins, add them after you test them. I don't mind having a very sup-bar server plug-in, just as long as we have some type of progress in it. If you did that, would it attract players even more, since they want to see which features would be added next?

So is CS:S div dead or what
Brian reacted to SpermytheCat for a post in a topic
I mean Silence pretty much just said balls to CS:S in another thread so is Source jb doomed to die soon or what. -
1 pointI'm just checking this place out because some people I know have been mentioning it recently. (Cookieless, DenwaOtoko, Forest) I'm a quiet guy so you probably won't even know I'm around. Edit: Yea I don't play many PC games but I do play some games online (Yugioh, Epicmafia, Pokemon) and watch anime frequently. I also have a Wii U if anyone cares. Edit2: I love this error page whoever did it is a genius. Also Forest challenged me to spend 30 minutes staring at this one screen. Challenge Complete.

Spawn grief
SuperMaddud reacted to MrJeeblez for a post in a topic
Uh, hello. You probably don't know me, I mostly play CS:S JB. I saw that xG had a Tekkit server, and immediately had to try it out! Sadly, this is what I saw when I connected: I do hate when people grief, so I'm reporting it here. (Also, I don't know if this is the correct forum, but I can only assume seeing as the other Minecraft forum is for guides.) Thanks, MrJeeblez/degrief -

1 pointYeah you should definitely relax. The only thing that's not common sense is probably the demerit points. Most of the friends went in after looking at the book and wing'd the test.
-
1 pointlol I didn't study for it. Depends on your state, but I think we needed a 70+ in ohio? Eh, it comes down to common sense anyways. Very easy.

1 pointATM we are sub-generic, atleast the generic servers have more people on than we do. We are lucky to have 20 people on the weekends
-
1 pointSo does this make our jailbreak subgeneric level? It may not solve all the problems but it will significanlty improve the situation whilst someone (no one?) works on hub. if you are worried about losing regular donations why not raise the price for credits or even disable the ability to pass credits onto other people. You could make it impossible to buy credits forcing people to earn them in game as well. All This is all a lot better than nothing and will restore some moral to the remaining loyal members you have.

1 pointWe're NOT unbanning LQ again though. He used his chance, and had a good run. But unlike others before me, I don't give infinite chances to people like him. #neteX2.0
-
1 pointFunny thing is, I was there when it happened. I'm sorry that I can't remember the situation with crystal clear accuracy like you seem to be able to, however, freesmiting 7-8 people is still abuse, just slapping on the excuse of "he was handling the situation as he saw fit" or "he handled it poorly" does not in any way nullify the fact that he still abused by freesmiting 7-8 people. There is no justifiable reason that I can think of that would excuse why any T was smited on that day, the problem that occured was entirely the fault of the warden and any other CT's that may have freekilled due to the warden's invalid orders. Personally, I find it incredibly unfair when we demote people for abuse that I personally don't find as severe, while we give incredible amounts of leniency when someone screws up on how to handle a situation with the result intentionally freesmiting 7-8 people in order to end a day that was boring.
-
1 point@@Forest, how could anyone comprehend that freesmiting 10+ people would be beneficial towards the server? I was there, he did it because he got killed just before the invalid wasd freeday was called and got bored (which he also did without consulting any of the other staff members on at the time, myself included). Anyone with half of a brain would know just to call an invalid freeday and possibly slay the warden for giving invalid orders. You can try to sugarcoat up the obvious favoritism towards warrior (a staff member who rarely gets on the division he's supposed to be monitoring mind you) and the whole situation regarding his freesmiting, but we can all see the deep layers of pure bullshit underneath.

1 pointOnly reason I didnt bring up TF2 was because this was under CS Discussion so i tried to keep it between those two. I checked the members submissions and its majority of tf2 with some css sprinkled in, but then i look at the tf2 boards and see a few posts about inactivity and what not. I came to the conclusion that because it is a free game we get a surplus of member submissions for people who play on the servers but don't want to put in the time commitment. I don't really know how to fix this other than advertising the clan or providing member only benefits edit: forums OP too much usage
-
1 pointI'v already said that his demotion was already agreed on by Higher-Ups, including Silence. During the time, ban @ all was severely disrupting the game (it was used at least 3-4 times consecutively, and if I'm not mistaken was used the day before as well). We decided to crack down on it, and it was established that anyone caught using the command would receive an immediate demotion to Member, no exceptions. It could have been anyone else, and I would still stand by it because that is what we established was the punishment. You can't compare this sort of event to a different one as they are two completely different situations. If you want to use Warrior's as an example, his reasoning was that he believed it was the right course of action. Whether or not he's lying is impossible to tell, maybe he does have a small IQ (<3) and thought smite @ all would be the best solution. Point is, he did it in order to maintain the Server and do his job. Aaron, although giving a vote to see if the server was in agreeance, did a ban @ all when a couple days before it was, as I mentioned earlier, it was agreed on that ban @ all would warrant a demotion. Like I said, it could have been anyone else, but during the time of that whole ordeal, it was frustratingly annoying to have to go through all this trouble just to find the person who thought it would be funny to do it a bunch of times; so you can at least imagine how riled up the Higher-Ups were. No leniency was given during that time. In terms of Aaron being eligible to receive a Staff position again, I honestly have no grievances with it. Simply put, what he did (although was agreed on by the Server) still warranted a demotion back then, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to earn his position back.

1 pointThe problem is valve has a new game released, the community here wants css to keep thriving. Gyazo - b92e1550f6288a39c013a81ed6f1b61f.png There's about a 10K~ differential in players between GO and Source, however im getting the feeling here that a majority of our community still resides in css which would make it more beneficial to continually update css while phasing in csgo. I don't know our CSGO stats because theyre not on GameTracker but the css servers (jailbreak) averages 11 players a day over the last month (which isnt bad due to schooling and clan inactivity) Gyazo - 82184173a439c4b6d95e8b5adb32a64a.png The point here being, you may keep wanting to claim css is "dead" but there is still still a fairly active population of the clan who plays it daily
-
1 pointIt's because he's friends with more of the higher ups. If I'd smote @all I imagine I wouldve been demoted to member permanently for that too
-
1 pointIn my opinion, spamming all chat and unmuting yourself doesn't make you bad staff. Consistent freeslays and being a jerk off ALL THE TIME because you have powers or bending the rules and then banning people who complain, THAT makes you bad staff. Spamming all chat and unmuting yourself makes you a bored staff member.
-
1 pointit's hard to improve the server as a DLeader unless you have 1337 skillz with programming stuffz like plugins.
-
1 pointIt's been on a decline for awhile now, I can't see it getting any better either, oh well time for new ventures!

So is CS:S div dead or what
Lemons reacted to Rhododendron for a post in a topic
Exactly. Some of you guys want me to code something to save a dying game. That is complete nonsense. If Valve wanted the game to thrive they would update new stuff, and it seems that they rather have CS:GO in the frontline then a 10 year old game. Can you really blame them? -

-1 pointsWell considering this thread has gone nowhere and has done nothing but created fighting and flaming for a crap-ton of posts, i think i'm gonna close it, unless @@DarkWolf6052 wants to say something else.
