So I was wondering, does anyone else here think that we should add Celadon and Ecruteak (back) to Pkmn Trade? I mean, everyone on the server is always screaming about how they want more maps and this is getting too repetitive. After a long fight with @Kypari telling each other to make the post, I got bored and made this. I've done a couple votes too with a minimum of 18 people voting on the server. Personally, I'd really love to see these maps on here as I feel it would incude population and donations to here. I left the clan, yeah. But I still would love to see this one here and I think many people would agree. Not to mention one of your old members made both of these, yet we don't use them. It makes me fail awful, wouldn't you? So i did some digging, and it turns out the version of cyberpunk that we use was edited by someone other than the original creator who made all of the textures. it also turns out these problems are only present in this specific version. he added the light changing, he added the no killzone in the party room, and unlike the original the songs don't complete once started. to be fair he did add a bit more to do in the map, but by reverting to the original (which is perfectly stable same aesthetic but fewer songs and paths to disco and no sniper towers)all of these problems would be solved. so really it's up to the communities preference TF2Maps.net - Map Downloads - Cyberpunk 2 - the version we use cyberpunk (Team Fortress 2 > Maps > Death Match) - GAMEBANANA - the original

I see kypari is still being that mature moderator everyone all loves. Oh wait, he's still annoying and rating everyone fuck you. kek I agree with @Rhododendron. Edit the map. I remember when we first had it. the map was FUN, pain in the ass. but fun. Change the "issues" rather than going off 2 angry brits and @Vector. Talk to the community and see what THEY think, (aka not forums cause half the randoms could give two fucks about forums)

I'm a fan of the map. Get someone to edit the map and remove the strobing if you feel it's too much of a problem.

No it won't, stop overreacting. Also, i don't know who "these people are" and the "constant complaints" come from, but because the same 3 people complain about it, doesn't mean it should be removed. What about hyrule? people bitch and moan about how large it is and how the teleporter spawns both teams in the same position. People will complain about anything they don't like. from my experience, people really love cyberpunk and were happy to see it back.

just had to post this but @ColdEndeavour didn't feel that Celadon was ready for the server, it's in v1 and he had trouble with it and had to stop making it. I'd rather not put something on the servers when the creator was explicitly against it.

Flickering lights and colors can and will cause seizures do we want to be responsible for having a map that causes it?

Rhodo said the maps rotate every 2 hours. I think Thts a little too fast for map rotation . I would say evey 4-5 hours. 2 hours can fly by when having fun.

I and almost all other plays love this map to bits and it is commonly picked to be played on. Removing this would make the population decrease dramatically. DO NOT REMOVE CYBERPUNK.

no, its a nice map and it is good to have it again. if people don't like the music, they can just turn it off. as for the lights, just don't fight in the disco area

That is assuming ass isn't being used to describe someone in a derogative manner. I mean, its closely associated with curse words, isn't it? Although I do agree, especially because there is a large assortment of curse words that are way more harmful than ass. I feel like if we group together to form an association or assembly of sorts, we can present our case in an assertive manner to rid the more.. Offensive "curse" words. That way we can make a more assessable case, n'ah mean? Besides, it gets annoying when we use words that start with ass, because then it becomes a huge cluster fudge of mismatched words. Just assign the censors to more offensive words, that's all we want. Hell, if you want I can provide any assistance in identifying which are the worst, of which there are quite a few I assure you. Irrelevant post I know, but, it needs to be addressed as its becoming more of an inconvenience than an asset. Ass. :coffee:

constant complaint's about the music, constant complaints about the lights, constant complaints about the random spawns. the songs don't keep playing once you pick them, so you hear a different song intro blaring every 5 seconds, people refusing to stop flickering the lights even though a staff member told them that one of the users was dyslexic. that kid left and never came back. you can spawn anywhere, even in the other teams sniper nest. you can't enter it from the street but you can spawn there? that's bad map design. I understand people like having so much control over the map, hell, they can even change gravity and damage output for anyone in one of the rooms. but the fact is, our population isn't mature enough to have these nice things, it devolves into cancer everytime. the population usually drops on the map once people refuse to stop music spamming. this map gives players the freedom to do a lot of things, but that doesn't mean they're responsible enough to handle that. other than that, the map is a constant headache, the lighting in the main world is hell, and the server would be better off without it in my opinion. @metalslug53 @Rejects @kbraszzz @Kypari @Vector @Tekage @Rhododendron @anyone else with an opinion my opinion is obvious, what about you guys

People who have epileptic problems might have severe problems with the map. Also, music is really bad and overall is just way to linear for my taste. +1 inb4 kypari rates Fuck you

Haha I'll have you know that a lot of people love this map. Just because you don't like it and people can't be bothered to turn the music option in the settings all the way down doesn't mean we have to remove a great map that is liked by many. -1

HEH, I remember being on the same server with this guy, it was a nightmare great! :nerd: He opened the cell doors, shouted "out of cell pardons" then he killed everyone who got out of cells, AND some people who actually stayed in the cells. OK, so, looking at the logs from 3 in the morning that day, someone named [Metrics] logged on during a span 1 hour around 6 times. each time he timed out. This could be possibly the perpetrator. Now, the only reason i targeted Hachi was due to the fact that it is extremely difficult to believe that someone would get on a server that is barely known and destroy worlds due to the fact he still would not have OP powers. I made a false accusation and am manning up to it. I fucked up so bad that it is inexcusable. I feel as if i have done more harm then good here. I made hachi seem evil out of rage. I should have really looked at what was going on with logs instead of doing 90% assumption with 10% of evidence. I would like to apologize to her, I targeted an innocent person. She was not logged in after i got off. I do sincerely apologize to hachi and wasting everyone's time. Also, if @Rhododendron could reload the server back to a save before 5 PM on April 15th that would help the server and resolve all the issues. I don't have access to that anymore.
