My high school is 8th-12th, was unsure.

Mine used to be 10 - 12, and middle school was 7-9, the middle school had a new set of kids coming in and there were too many so they moved 9th to the high school. This all happened before i was there though.

Yeah I'm gonna be taking all AP classes this senior year(other than pottery, gym, and lunch) for the first time so even if my PC wasn't broken I wouldn't have much time. I never took an AP class before but I've literally never struggled in school before. I was in all basic classes freshman year because I didn't do my homework(because I was too busy playing jailbreak, le xd). GL with your classes.

Here's my progress

Not doing some long post since I don't need the credits, but I'm happy to see things finally looking better around here. It's not that we were horrible before all this, but even from the outside I can see things are improving and the effort is being put in by many of you. It's a shame I can't really help out that much(due to my PC being broken, and my lack of any skills(about all I know how to do around here is administrate, and that isn't working out very well since I can't get on the servers)). I feel like the only problem we might end up having is once we actually get stuff completed, and xG is great again, we will have to #KeepxGGreatAgain , but even that should be fine.

It takes time and effort to do all this, and not all of it is easy. All I can say is thank you, to all the people helping out.

Side note: Maybe when I get my new PC I'll try to learn some stuff so I can help out a bit more around here, but no promises on that being any time soon, I'm going to take my time with getting this new PC built and ready, I don't feel like coming back and having it break in the next few months after it was fixed.

Also before this gets too sidetracked, Icy you can feel free to come back, no hard feelings involved, but make sure you take some time to think about your actions, and what may have caused problems with others. Sometimes even the smallest things can bother people.

Why are you telling people on the server to break rules? I don't care if its Icy or any other annoying person, it should not be allowed.

Alright I finally got back to this. For context I'm an Autistic Person, and have previously been affiliated with a national Autistic Advocacy Organization. I've also done a bit of Lobbying in D.C. against a bill that would have given parents access to tracking their Autistic children via GPS in a way that violated the childs HIPAA privacy rights. You'll notice that I've exclusively used the word Autistic to describe myself and other Autistic people here, that was intentional. Most Autistic people prefer to be referred to that way. It's not an insult. We think logically, and it's just more correct. Autism isn't an appendage, or something I carry around with me, or something somehow separate from me being a person. It's a state of being that colors every experience and can't be turned off. So I just don't really trust a thread claiming to know what makes Autistic people more comfortable when they went beyond even the common "person with" or "has Autism" all the way to "suffers from", which is what people like me actually have much more of a problem with and want to stop. Autism isn't suffering. It's uncomfortable at times, and can put you in bad situations, but it isn't suffering. Calling it that just diminishes the positive qualities and experiences that Autistic people have and only leads to the general public pitying us rather than looking at us at equals, so let's stop with the "suffers from" talk.

 

 

As for the thread though, I don't see it as the biggest issue and seeing as I've already explained Autistic People preferring to be called such It's obvious I'm against outright banning the word. But seeing as the one driving principle of Disability Rights movement and Autism/Neurodiversity movement is "nothing about us without us" this decision should be made largely by the people it actually affects.

I dont disagree with you completely, but i think its different if youre just being addressed as autistic, rather than being called autistic while associating it with a stupid action or some other demeaning situation(i.e someone saying "Are you autistic or something?" when something dumb happens, directly associating autism with dumb stuff. It may not offend all, but it may offend some).

I feel like banning the word shouldnt really be a thing, but it still shouldnt be used in a way to make fun of others(which might even go along with the whole "No Disrespect" rule, making a new rule pointless, as it already relates to another).

Although my pc is broken i do have an even shittier computer(is that even a thing?) downstairs that i think can run minecraft. Im not too into minecraft but i might try and get on.

All the good shit happens right after my pc breaks. Figures.

i havent seen you since my pcs been broken but a week seems a little early. Nothing against you, i just want people to know to be cautious before vouching prematurely.

Rofl why even mention such a thing with that tone, he's clearly been here for almost a year regardless, and some people apply for mod after a few months of being on the server considering it's not a requirement to be in the servers a year+ for a mod app. It's a mod request and if he's been here for 2 years or even 10 years, it has no reflection on if he would be a good moderator or not.

 

Why not just let the people who see him and play with him comment about it instead? I wouldn't even mind if you mentioned how long he's been in our servers and corrected him if you had also talked about if he is a good member in our servers or if he would be a good mod but instead you leave with 0 input, and just call him out on something so trivial.

Not sure, but some people like to say they played longer than they have just to make themselves look better. Not saying wario did, but i think chrono just wanted to correct it for that reason. I do agree with what you said though

joined forums a year ago, servers were non-populated just shy of 1.5 years ago... how was it over a year, maybe 2?

I think oden is fully capable of the position, and was either the most active or second most active mod(its between him and jaydow. I dont know if thats still true about either of them now).

Alright @BullseyeX , I am now going to -1 you because you have changed for the better, but if you look at your ban appeals you were the one being salty. I will admitt , at the time, we did not get along and I did not like you at all. I have nothing against you now except for this. You had to put me into the same boat as #JuiceBoxBoy. Not cool. And another thing, you were one of those cancerous people as well, and you just having this in your bio just shows, atleast to me, a level of childish in you that is not fit for staff just yet. And another thing that just is in the rules for being staff, you are never on ts. For a staff member you should be active on ts.

Going on teamspeak is just meant to let people know who you are and such to help you get it, its not actually required(if it was id have been demoted a long time ago(which should be happening soon anyway)). Unless its been changed, atleast.

I wont vouch, since ive been inactive. I will say, you were really improving before my pc took a crap, and i believe you are capable of doing the job, but your maturity is what was the problem before. As long as maturity has improved, i think people should +1 you. Like i said, i would but doing so with my lack of activity doesnt seem right

My alternative laptop I'm using has been running at a constant 100 degrees celcius.(just because it's not meant for gaming and is kinda old) And you can't even keep one for 6 months.

The part that broke now is probably not the same one that broke before, and its the same pc as the last time it broke, so its actually like 3 years of constant playing that led to this part breaking
