I guess this is kinda cool, but don't see much of a point behind it since we already have the xG-Rep group. If we are gonna be hosting community nights etc and want to make announcements just send them through there as that will reach a wider player base anyways. But if it's use is primarily for a clan roster then I suppose it makes sense, just be prepared to be waiting forever to have everybody join :x

Well, one way we could find out if he's lying or not is unban him temporarily and have him record the screen the ENTIRE time with no cuts. Then, enable this "mod" and if it bans you and doesn't show any other signs of cheating then it could be legitimate.

Sorry but I do. If a prisoner is on parole for murder, and he robs some dude on the street then you should send him back to jail. He was already given multiple chances. If he was banned for a legitimate reason such as purposely freekilling two t's (and I don't know if it was intentional or not) then -1. Also, for example, though I was originally somewhat against the unbanning of shadow after he mass freekilled twice, he has shown some honest improvement. I haven't seen much but the usual hostilities coming from Peppermint to players on the server. (Calling them fags etc.) If he attempted to act nicer to players he would have gotten at least some sympathy from me, but you can't ask to be unbanned after being a douche to people on the server and freekilling. Not trying to be a dick, but rules are rules and you were given more than enough chances. -1

No way these commands break the server. I used them a couple times messing around with Bees on scrim by ourselves before this thread was created because I just found out about them when i randomly typed in !admin. In my opinion, why not let admins have them? I mean, they won't do any more harm than if somebody just does !slay @all. And if they abuse, then the appropriate consequences will be taken. All this code red stuff just seems ridiculous.

Meh, even if we do force people to make slightly longer and in depth responses, not much is gonna change. People still wanna get their post count up. (Member submissions = Get your post count up central) At this point, without stricter regulations nothing is gonna happen to change anything. You guys post these threads usually once every couple months but as the amount of people join the clan obviously it's just gonna become easier and easier to get in as the time goes by.

Silence said earlier that there will be an announcement regarding the gmod division. I really doubt that he's just gonna completely shut the servers down . My guess is just a change in leadership, because that would be a retarded move just to simply shut it down.

It honestly seems everybody here is incredibly biased toward one side or another. I am an admin for Gmod and I will try my best to make a honest response without personal issues or anything else that could contribute to a biased response. People say that Charrax disrespects them and that it offends them. Others say it's just the way he is and that it doesn't matter; he's just being honest. Well, disrespect in my opinion should be looked on an individual basis. What you say may be taken light to some people, especially friends - but others it may be taken much more seriously. (Hence, the offended) The fact of the matter is that you should be sensitive to ALL people and simply can't excuse somebody's complaint about disrespect as: "It's just the way he is" or, "He just speaks the truth". The whole concept of respect is adapting to the feelings of others and being considerate about them. As for the banning of people. I have always thought that all the perms were very excessive for say, single rdms that in some cases may have been misunderstandings. But it's my understanding that all bans have been/are going to be lifted, so that is good. Also, something I have noticed is that there is seemingly a lot of hostile behavior from admins/mods in TTT towards new players or players in general. An example is bronies. I'm not a brony and and honestly don't really get how people could like that kind of show but an enforced policy of basic hostility towards them isn't very nice to say the least. However, though strict, Charrax does have an effective form of discipline in the server which keeps them running smoothly and usually without rule breakers. (Only thing is, as previously mentioned, the basic trigger happiness in which bans were distributed. But this problem has been/is going to be dealt with) The last thing that I want to add is that Charrax has had a previous member protest, so people may want to look over that before they instantly jump into any conclusions on this thread for or against.

I don't feel like getting too involved with this as I'm going on vacation, but Charrax; you have had your problems with this in the past and were given a second chance. Charrax And really the personal issue that I've never agreed with are all the perm bans that take place on the server. As an admin I just thought it was a bit excessive that tons and tons of people instantly get a perm ban for say, 1 rdm that in some cases may have been simple misunderstandings. I just never thought it was my right to question since it was the way he ran it I guess.
