What happened was on Canyondam T's were told to follow their warden who was heading outside and after most T's had passed couch game the warden said to go to couch game. Most of the T's then had to turn around in order to go to couch game. Teemo did not pay attention to wardens orders and just shot the T's who were following wardens orders.

It's not about being lazy. If the only way someone can get mod is by paying for it then there is a significantly higher chance they are not going to be a good mod. They dont even have to abuse they will just bring down the quality of moderation we have on the server. With summer here pretty much we are trying to have the best staff possible why would we willingly pollute it with kids (it is mostly kids who buy it) who have no idea what they are doing. Why not just stop it before we have a problem.

Personally I am against these ranks. They can pollute the server with people who do not deserve or can handle the powers. There have been issues in the past where immature members paid and had powers and we're disruptive to the server. I know it is a good way to raise money to pay for servers but what are we giving up in order to get that money?

-1 Honestly the drug issue has no weight on this. The way Narwhal is conducting himself now is not a way I want to see staff reacting to a situation like this. If he cannot handle himself in a mature manner then he does not deserve staff. The drug issues of the past are another conversation of their own and the attitude shown is enough for me to not want him on staff.

Yes it's easy but then it reflects bad on the community as a whole. Nobody wants to join the servers because anyone can simply purchase powers and have at it with the players.

Closing this since first of all, a staff member really needs to be respected by the existing community, and it's clear you are not, regardless or not these peoples' reasoning for it is valid.
Secondly, it's clear you have a completely ridiculous attitude towards being staff. Calling the community "shit" and thinking you are somehow the chosen one to be able to "un-shitify it" just screams narcissism and immaturity, both of which obviously are not qualities we want for staff.

Seems @Duke permed you for massing. It has only been a week since you were banned and that is most likely not going to change any time soon. Play on the server and show you know the rules. Also not having a mic is not an excuse for freekilling. You can still hear the wardens orders w/o needing a mic. You obviously didnt know the rules before joining CT so this ban is going to stick for a long while.

This "reformation" of the staff needs to happen before Hub comes out and we get an influx of people on our server. We don't need half of our staff incompetent during the busiest time of the year. I believe other steps need to be taken too to ensure that our staff is fit for the position before they are promoted. Something like the MOTD test we had before to make sure they have an understanding of the rules. Our mods also need to have a brighter face in the community and be able to be recognized as a mod by the regulars of the server and also trusted by them. I have seen plenty of mods/admins who don't know how to deal with people of the server and are disrespectful/abusive to the players. This needs to be met with a kick to the rear end by higher ups to put them back in line and possible demotion if there is no change in the mod/admins attitude.

The problem here is that it appears that you aren't open to criticism in any shape or form. At the first sign of criticism, you take it personally and then verbally attack whomever posted without even considering their opinion.

Rather than immediately posting a rebuttal or reacting in a destructive way, you can reflect on what they have to offer in terms of opinions on your behaviour/attitude and choose to improve said-behaviour/attitude. You are literally picking a fight with anyone and everyone who mentions something bad about you, and then wondering why people are reacting the way they are in this thread.
 
My suggestion(s) to you is/are the following:

Learn to listen to and accept constructive criticism.
Determine when a reply is necessary or if it will just exacerbate things.
Step away from the thread and calm down before posting; if you're upset or otherwise angry, it will not help the situation.
Keep in mind that what people say about you are only opinions, they are not facts, so do not treat it as such.
Take a more passive approach to things. If you disagree with someone, ask them why they feel that way without berating or insulting them. Chances are they will be more receptive in listening to you and it will greatly defuse the situation.

This all may seem irrelevant to the Ban Protest at hand, but I can assure you that your behaviour/attitude directly correlates with it since you seem to be a very argumentative person (which can get you banned), especially in the presence of a Staff Member.
