Oh boy this thread is gonna be great. Anyway, here are my 2 cents.
 
You were demoted for being inactive, unfit for the position and for being confrontational (PROMO/DEMO - Promotions And Demotions #147). After your demotion you threw a hissy fit, said fuck you to the entire tf2 division and stepped down completely. Instead of just leaving it at that, you started borderline harassing a certain tf2 staff member, who you for some reason want crucified because he merely disagrees with you on certain things. You constantly argue and instigate shit with other staff/members in shoutbox, through threads on the forums and in game.
 
Staff members need to steer clear of any drama that might erupt, not start drama by making baity threads. You have not changed a single bit since your demotion 2~ months ago. -1

Apart from his childish side, I think Matsi makes create decisions and would make an great addition to staff. Might I mention that he was Admin on TF2. I'd say we should give him a go on the CSGO servers :D
 
P.S. @Warriorsfury no need to get so up tight, not like he is stealing ur job or anything. Trust me it's nice to have some extra help. I would highly recommended rethinking ur negative rating. I feel like u took offense to what was said in the application. From what I can tell is that he dose not mean to offend you he is just stating that he can help.

Yes it's easy but then it reflects bad on the community as a whole. Nobody wants to join the servers because anyone can simply purchase powers and have at it with the players.

Unfortunately I don't recall a lot of the facts from the incident, but I've felt really shitty about the situation ever since it happened.
 
What a lot of people didn't realize is there was some less than honest stuff going on in the background. There were several higher ups that "poked the fire". We really handled things in a way that were not only unfair for darkwolf, but also the community. Again, I really can't recall the specifics, but I do remember the remorse after the fact.
 
Just saying, darkwolf is actually not a bad guy at all. Yes, he did things that were absolutely not cool, but I almost can't blame him when we treated the situation like shit.
 
As some of y'all have said, he isn't even applying for membership, so why should we be concerned about what he did before.

Seeing as how I am the one that reported you, I feel as if I should reply to this.
You were DL, you did jack shit as DL. You got demo'd for it. And out of immaturity, you decided "Hey! I'm just going to DELETE THE SERVER FILES." You also sat in JB and spied on people using Admin Stealth.

for everyone that's been waiting so long for this- here it is. I'm stepping down to member for a couple of reasons, the main of which is that I'm really just tired of baby-sitting kids and of jailbreak in general really. School is also hitting pretty hard 2nd semester and causing me to be fairly inactive. JB has really just become the same 3 rounds over and over again with the same kids screaming into their mic so I hope the reasoning for dropping the position. I'm not leaving, but this is likely going to be the end of my daily-ish activity on xG servers(excluding teamspeak and maybe forums), I might drop in every once in a while but don't expect to see me every day.
 
@Snackbar I don't know if you're reading this, but thank you. I really appreciate everything you have done for me and for the CS:GO division as a whole. I was pretty upset to see you demoted and especially to leave, but as cliche as it is without you I really wouldn't be where I am today.
 
@Bleed @Lithium I also want to thank both of you for what you guys have done for the server especially as well as for myself. You guys put more time into the server than you get credit for and without the shit you guys go through with literally every little thing being reported is definitely more than most any of the people here could handle. (hub 5 mins™?)

Jailbreak

Removed debug printing in class
Reverted open command to be admins only
Fixed bug where the open command would not show the admin who would use it
Damaging players will no longer have potential to spam console
Grenades now have velocity when dropped (I think)
Funcommands now require the reserved flag
 
Tasers are automatically removed to prevent crashes. I'll look more into this this weekend.
Fixed bug where the guard leave queue would fail to remove players from CT
Markers are now red and animated.

There is going to be a major crack down on all the admin abuse I have been hearing about and seeing, so take this as the one and only warning.
 

using fun commands such as burn, timebomb, freeze, etc. (even on eachother for "fun")
banning eachother (or in the more blunt and obvious callout way, and admin banning mods for "no balls")
breaking server rules because you feel staff are above the law
teamswapping yourself (which you all had already been warned about with the previous post on it)

All of these are things you all know are to be abuse, they are the wrong way to use the powers you were trusted with, and it makes staff look like a bunch of baboons. It's not like we're some small new up and coming server that people go on to screw around and not care, we are a semi-well known community that people expect our staff to uphold certain standards, and if you can't handle upholding them, then expect to have some discussions with us DM/DLs and potential removal from staff.

It should be judged by the highest staff (or whatever staff is on) at the time. Case-by-case. Younger kids play counterstrike, but as long as they're not being too annoying, they should be allowed to talk.
