I'm really sorry guys, I just have not been doing a good job and I'm not enjoying the game anymore :(
I just wish I could have done more to help you all out in the servers, but I just.. couldn't bring myself to it, I let other things get in the way of my true goal, which was to turn the server into a marxist countr-, I mean create a safe and caring environment for all.
So I from this point announce my resignation after many hours of hard work I've put into the server, I hope you find some happiness in what I've done.

Hey what's poppin' guys.
Recently we've been getting a lot of complaints about staff abusing their powers. And by a lot I mean a humongous amount of complaints. By putting this PSA up I just wanna make some things clear:
 

Selling services for credits is not allowed. Services like: gagging/muting, launching players in the air via rocket, setting gravity for credits. This is honestly awful and represents the servers/clan really badly overall.
 
We were never really strict on abuse, as a result there's been a lot of complaints. For example: Staff giving themselves like 50k HP to block the opposing team's spawn. Like, really? Mods+ have the ability to start votes, if you wanna have some fun with commands like sm_gravity you can always make a vote and see how it goes. Actual abuse will no longer be tolerated, this does also include using commands on everyone for no reason when the round ends etc.
 
Staff members must show respect when dealing with players. We get it, although some people are incredibly hard to deal with, as a staff member you must treat others with respect.
Starting to disrespect rule-breakers or even harassing them will most likely result in a removal of your powers and possibly a ban.
Staff members are also not excluded from breaking rules such as micspamming etc.

So I think this was a long time coming. I've been very inactive on the servers and honestly have been playing a lot of other games. It's been a lot of fun but i don't think that I need to be staff anymore. I'll still be on but not as much.

Addittions:
Warden/Blu

You may only play one friendly fire game per round. (Example: You cannot do cell wars and arena on the same day.)
Do not use !menu to troll, you will be teamswitched.


You may not airblast reds away from you if they attempt to run at you. Any other airblasting is a freehit unless they are rebelling.

Red

No team-killing, unless the day/game requires Reds' to team-kill each other. Examples: Cell wars, Arena, Hunger games
You can be killed for: going into armory, entering vents, triggering tardis, entering tardis, breaking vents or using a lethal taunt if facing somebody close.
You may not camp medic or armory for more than 10 seconds.

Games

You cannot play Trivia with more than five reds.
Hunger Games - Blu team runs to a set location, where Reds' are not allowed enter/come near. Friendly fire is turned on after Blu team have set their spot, traveled to that spot, and cell doors are opened (using !menu to open cells). The Reds' are allowed to kill each other till one Red remains. They may kill each other with weapons, however if a Red was to start attacking members of the Blu team, then they're classified as a rebel and are killed.
Cell wars – Cell Games can ONLY be turned on before the cells door are open, and must be turned off after the cell doors are open.
Friendly Fire Games - Other games involving friendly fire may also be toggled in a specific place chosen by the warden, however, it has to be turned off after the game is over. You cannot play games that involve friendly fire for LR. Keep in mind that arena and cell wars are not the same!
LR: LRs on the following day must be done before 3:00 and with a MINIMUM of 50% of the reds.

Important Terms:

Camping: Staying at the same place/area for more than 10 seconds. The "countdown" resets if a blu hits you.

Please read up on the rules as they are very important to keeping the server in shape!

So, I remember suggesting something like this last year for the same reason, and let's be honest, 99% of the people dont read the motd, I've seen people that are regulars for months and fun to play with, and yet break several (minor) rules over and over, why? because the motd window itself takes time to load, and it usually get mistaken to be just an ad or "message of the day" but not the rules, just you press space twice and that's it, and even if you go through it, it's tl:dr for someone being on the server and wanting to play..
So, what I suggest, and think it would be a good idea, is to fix the queue for joining guard, yesterday, I was on jb1 late night with @Thunder , and we came to a point where that are 5 guards and 6 reds, we kept asking people to read the rules and switch back to red team, but we couldnt do much and the server died quickly after that.
 
We should make it clear that glitching to ct is breaking a MAJOR rule, I remember that in vsh, we had that Box with 5 or 6 lines, that shows up on the left at the start of each round, reminding people of the major rules, we should do the same for Jb1,it sticks there and it's more efficient that "!motd to read the rules" message on screen, it should be something likes this :

As Blu
1- Type !guard to join Blu, glitching will be punished
2- Make sure you know all the rules and have a good mic
3- Do not re-enter armory
4- Do not run away during a warday, during a normal day, stay with the reds unless you're pursuing a rebel
5- Freehitting and freekilling is not acceptable, team killing will get you slain
6- Make sure you take warden and give orders before the cells are open

Delaying, detouring, camping etc ...

I'm making this thread to get ideas about ways to make players read the motd before getting onto blue. I've seen far too many bans that just consist of new players joining the server and either glitching onto blue or using the command and not knowing the rules/freekilling. I just want to get ideas for a fix, I dont think it will be fixed in a day but it helps to get ideas for it. My idea is once a blue is brought over to the blue team from the queue then it could force the motd to open. I know someone could close it but that would give someone a chance who doesnt know the rules but wants to play correctly to read them. Any ideas, I would love to get other opinions.

seems like you came to the server with the intention to get banned. Im not too sure "i'm sorry" is a good reason to be unbanned. You shouldn't have listened to him. -1

this is an idea page, so im aware what i said was a long shot but I would like to hear other peoples ideas. The point of this thread was trying to find an easier way to get people to read the rules. When people join the server there is nothing telling them the rule. It gives players an add and then drops them into the game. So i get that they should type !motd and read the rule, but if staff members(or just members) are the only way new players can get the rules isn't a great idea and why i think so many people get banned for just being unaware of rules that you need special knowledge to get to.

I've lost 70 lbs so far and found an old shirt that there was a picture of me near my heaviest at, it's still kind of stretched out. I did a quick edit and had to use lame stickers to edit out my sisters because I couldn't find a draw tool on the crappy free photo editor. But here.

It seems that over the recent weeks there has been a growing increase of targeted bullying, whether it is behind peoples backs or directly to them, I want to make this clear that bullying in any form is unacceptable in XenoGamers, and the Upper Staff will NOT be so lenient if this has been reported, if staff is found to be a part of this bullying they will risk immediate demotion, this is a serious matter and there will be zero tolerance.
 
 
People lose their trust in our staff, this shall not happen.
Regarding these recent events, anyone with evidence of disrespectful behaviour on the servers or forums is encouraged to come forward to the Staff, alternatively, they can create a Ban Request, Member Protest or message one of us higher ups directly!

Ok time for my two cents. We all know that he abused recently and while I don't think it was a good example for how people should use their powers I do believe that what he did (while a little overkill) was in the wrong his intention was pure. With that I would +1 on the fact that he acted to stop rule breaker. I'm by no means saying donators should abuse instead of calling staff or just recording it to punish the rule breaker when staff comes online. I would say that if he understands what he did wrong and is willing to grow from it i would love to see him get mod (or at least probation like janal). There is no reason in my mind that he shouldn't be given the chance to show that he is mature enough to be a mod.

Honestly this should have happened a few weeks ago imo. First I still want to be staff but i think this position should be someone who can handle it. Honestly life came on me quickly the last few months and it has taken a lot of my time and energy, I could keep writing some big useless paragraph but the long and short is I havent been doing my job as DM and I think there are people here that can do it more justice than i have. Ill hold on to if for anything that i might need it for until next promo/demo for what i can do to help @Liekos who has been doing so much. @Ohstopyou @Rejects @scootloo i hope you guys can find someone who can help lightne liekos' load.
