Honestly stop with these threads. These are just getting beyond annoying. If you haven't read the ones before, Teamspeak has better security than Discord. Plus it's a better platform for the clan's use.
 
You can use Discord with your friends or something. Just stop bringing these threads up.

if people actually wanted to talk they could either set up their own discord or just use the teamspeak server we have.

1. A vote would have to happen first
2. There are predetermined quests as admins cant say "server give people shit when they do this!"
3. I see this as being a more minigame sort of thing for JB, DR, FF2, and ZF. It would be too easy to get credits if it were a trading server.

I think this depends on the situation. For example, a player is running around with a Scattergun named "Faggot Blaster" after killing a player he says "Read my weapon name. That's just for people like you xD". Then that might be a problem.
 
But say another player has a Displenary Action named "Black History Month". Would someone get offended? Probably, but are we really gonna micromanage players to that point? I mean, it would need to be really really offensive to have to take action on.
 
But needing Staff to check weapon names on top of managing the server in general?
I'd really rather not have xG become known as "The Tumblr of TF2 Servers" because we're so worried about someone possibly getting offended.

I like the idea, but I feel like it would be a nightmare for staff to enforce. Having a bunch of rules that are too complicated/annoying to enforce in the first place is never good, and just leads to staff ignoring the rule most of the time.
 
That being said, i do believe it would be a good addition, if we could somehow figure out a way to do it somewhat efficiently. Maybe we could expand on the "No racism" rule to include nametags and player names?

Rule change for surf:

Removed: !cptele should only be used to advance in the map, NOT for gaining an advantage in the arena/fighting area!

You can basically CPTele anywhere except the enemy team's spawn now. This rule was removed since it is not being enforced.

I will say that the "It has a gaming history area" argument is a bit weaker with bsor than masscc and abstract. Both of those maps are well made and visually interesting/enjoyable to play in the non gaming areas. Bsor though is comparable with Hyrule for file size and doesn't fit anywhere close to the same level of map in the space. It has only the one section worth playing, the rest is just drab and poorly made open areas and stock textures. There is so much wasted space, and so much of the map percentage is low quality that it just seems like a step below the other maps on the server. As does apadiel obviously.

Heres the list of shit that needs to be fixed on Saxton.
Nerf homing balls again
Increase the points needed to buy Machine Slapping(2000) and Tracer Bullets(500)
Increase how much damage Lightning Strike does
Increase the homing size of homing rockets
Increase the "drug" part of Drug Syringes
Add some of the bosses back if possible*cough* BLOODRIDER *cough*
Make it so you cant choose Blitzkrieg through /ff2boss yeah also do that for bloodrider

all homing things use the same system so I cant buff rockets without buffing balls and arrows

Let me just say that making a ban protest doesn't automatically get you banned. Each ban protest is treated as a special case and is determined as such.
Making posts throughout the thread like: "I won't do it again. Unban me." doesn't really make your case better.
 
I will say however, that a perm is a bit overkill. For anyone who is actually curious to his previous bans, here: Xeno Gamers
He's be banned for exploits and calladmin abuse. Personally, a shorter length ban would have been more than fine. If he came back after being banned again for exploiting, just to continue doing so, then perm should follow suit.
 
Also, I want to tack on, that I never based their ban time on their previous bans as a whole. I would look over them, sure, but banning for continuous trolling versus exploits is different time decisions. Obviously this guy may be different from the rest of the people that are banned, but figured just give some food for thought on this statement.

The system nearly all staff (as far as I know) are using is Warn, Gag/Mute/, Kick, Day, Week, Month, Perm, regardless of the differences between the rules that they have previously broken. For example, if someone gets banned for a day for micspam, they could get banned for a week for trolling. Changing the system to make it so this person isn't banned for as long would be altering the banning system that we should be using right now so I think a perm is justifiable for now unless the higherups want to have a discussion about the banning system we are currently using.

I've recently started trying digital art, as opposed to the typical paper & pencil I've used since my pre-elementary school days. I've recently changed up what style I use, going from an airbrush set at 70 to the marker tool. This is all in FireAlpaca btw, with a Wacom Intuos. To be honest, I'm content with how it turned out. I hope you all like it just as much as I do. It's not the best. The shape of the left eye (or goggle), is a bit off, and I probably should have used a stencil for the more rounded shapes.

You owe Bello and I $1,000 for using the "Gaming.Dylan" meme. This is not an "April Fools" joke.
