Unfortunately, I only remember being told about that whole "alternate account racism" thing but don't exactly remember what happened or if it was even really his alt. The last ban you got for disrespect or "trolling" was last year, and that was only a day. Don't exactly understand the jump to a month ban, even if he had older bans for longer. As for Zack, I do know he's quite the toxic guy when he is on the server. I am honestly surprised in you guys only giving him a gag instead of a ban as well. From what I read there was a warning and it stopped there, so I don't exactly know why you guys did jump to a ban as quickly as you did without even kicking him beforehand. I do feel as though there is some unfairness in how the situation was handled, even if Sylux has a "history", Zack should be punished exactly the same.
 
+1 to drop the ban to at least a week, if not completely.

I don't see why that would be a problem. If you're going to complain about Xenogamers censoring slurs of any kind for whatever reason then I think you should complain about respecting other players rule as well. If what you want is to use slurs on the servers, plenty of people are going to abuse that. You already see people join the server occasionally spouting out the n-word like it's nothing just to start shit and are gagged/muted/kicked/banned for it and I would personally rather not have those people stick around just because you wanted to joke around with your friend.
 

That's probably because a lot of people are afraid to speak their voice. I know I've heard some condescending things said about minorities on the servers before but, in all honesty, I'd rather not say anything because I don't really want to argue with that person, especially if they got a good portion of the server convinced that a particular group of people are bad because they are different.

Please keep in mind that staff is made up of human beings that interpret things differently. What's bad to one person could be completely fine to another and if someone is unsure they'd ask for a second opinion on the situation. This happens all the time with non-racial slurs like "fag" and causes confusion among staff members. While it is allowed in some cases, other times it's not and people constantly check if the word is used maliciously or not.

I recently got gagged for asking why Nigga is considered a slur and it just pisses me off to no end.
 
Nigga is NOT an offensive slur, it's used by black people all the time as a term of endearment. Literally
NO ONE is going to get offended by people saying it, so why punish people for it????? I find this to be
a breach of free speech. When people are intending to create hate-speech for people of color they just
say Nigger, plain and simple. It's just wrong and unfair to ban words like this because it just gives them
more notoriety for absolutely no reason. You can do a simple fucking google search and learn that Nigga
is used in a positive way unlike Nigger. I understand that the word has evil roots but that's really no excuse.
 
This is just an example of blatant hypocrisy employed by xG Staff, for example I get made fun of all the time
on xG for being a "girl gamer xdddd make me a sammich lmaooo xdd" but do you see me cry about it to admins?

xG claims to be a "safe space" but it really is not. There's talk of traps all the time which is considered a slur by some
transgender people, things like lolis are encouraged by titles like "Loli" or "Loli scout legionaire" and some people even
have sprays of it, which is sexualizing children which is wrong, and illegal and people like Rub1dium get hunted down
through facebook by an absolute creep.What's with all the double standards??????
 
Really xG staff needs to either get more consistent with their policies or just get rid of punishment for slurs altogether
because all you are doing by making slurs this big bad thing is giving the words more power and cultivating absolute SJW
pussies who get triggered at any sort of slur.

This isn't a joke/meme thread this time. I am stepping down from my admin position due to my extreme inactivity. The servers need admins that can be on and stay on consistently. No admins that just scrape the minimum requirements to stay staff. Maybe someday when i get my activity up and get motivation to play tf2 more, I can be staff again. But for now, it has been fun.

You all know me and I havent gone too inactive on our TF2 servers since I stepped down anyway, so I believe I don't need to say much here, other than the fact that I wish to run for TF2 staff again seeing that jailbreak is regaining it's population and some of it's old regulars along with new ones.
 
And yes this is a direct application for the Administrator position, I know that some might argue that I should "work my way up again" which I find to be a pointless argument, since staff membership is not based on taking turns, but certainly is based on reliability and trustability of our regular members.

3dland plays very differently than most maps, feels better when you play agile classes such as demo, soldier, or scout. it also looks very nice and the ? blocks are a nice little thing to add

The map is small, people spam the music, the doors are glitchy, and then center of the map is a hitbox hell.

It seems nice, but very abusable. I feel like it would be better if you could find a way to disable progress until a certain amount of players join the server and making them reset weekly instead of daily along with making the objective much harder to achieve (ex. 100 headshots using the Ambassador)

If a person was a staff member in the past, that lets us know how mature of a person they are. We already know how they handle powers and we know how they will do their job as a staff member. Throwing a fit screaming "favoritism" isn't exactly going to get you anywhere, as long as the we higher-ups are fine with it, then the application can be made. The age thing is there because most younger people ARE immature, age does mean a lot when it comes to maturity. I personally would be fine with anyone under the age requirement being staff, so long as they show that they are mature and can handle it correctly. Someone's moderator application is not the place to bring this, just message a higher-up if you have a problem with how things are handled, please do not just post things like this where they don't belong.

@Vexx you made the biggest mistake by allowing Thunderlimes to make his staff application EVEN THOUGH he was under age aka not meeting the current requirements to make a staff app.
Im not doing this to start drama but I myself think amy is super fit to become staff but if she doesnt meet the age requirement then she should be able to make this app.
This is extremely unfair as I see it as favortism because there are people in the past , that I have seen, attempt to get moderator or thought about getting it but couldn't do so due to the age requirement needed. If anyone reading this is wondering wants to read the rules for creating staff submissions click here.
Like if we're going to have this rule we might as well remove it because if we're going to allow stuff like this to happen then theres no point in that rule being there.
Now you might be ready to say ''That rule is only to ensure that the person applying are mature so if we know they're mature then its fine.''
No, it isnt because it makes it look like you're telling every other person that was under age that they are immature and unfit for the position and that since they weren't staff before then they don't have the right to make an app.
Again if this is going to become a thing where its like ''Oh since I saw someone else do it I can do it as well'' then you might as well remove the rule OR lower the age requirement because I just think this makes it look like we're biased.
Again I'm not here to start some sort of war I just think its stupid to favor certain apps because they were staff members before.
