I've been a member of this community for way over 2 years now. Maybe it's time for me to be actual part of it.
I know that I've caused a bit of drama in the past, but I haven't in a while.

I have been playing on the Minecraft server a while back with ScottNi and some others! 😄

I don't think, many people appreciate the gravity of your post.
Started to mess with blender - creates a perfectly proportional Lucario model.
I'm coming from 3DS Max and could never even do anything basic with Blender!
And the texture is pretty much perfect. ONLY... why are the bottoms of his "pants" darker? It almost looks like a bad smoothing group job.

The only negatives about this are, that the Lucario seems just very stiff. (Which is likely due to the fact, that you just started with Blender)
And the letters in the background. They overlap a little, and the light core doesn't look very good on the R and especially the K.

Overall, really impressive. I'd love to see more of your stuff!

But I'm pretty savvy with animations and that kind of stuff.

I'm confident, I could make just about anything. Any artstyle.
But when it comes to animations, I'm more versed with motion tweens and effects than with classical animations drawn frame by frame. (Honestly just never tried anything complex, so I'm not going to advertise it.)

The point of this all was not to advertise my art, but to try something new and give people the opportunity to get something custom.

Maybe that was a stupid move on my side. Who would take this offer, if they don't know my skill?
I thought, giving it out for free was reason enough.

It's like the 5 second rule. If you do anything gay, you'll have a window of about 5-10 seconds afterwards saying "No homo", and you're good.
Though, if you kiss a guy, have sex with him, marry him etc. without saying no homo immediately, you are gay.

I just did a test last week. It was a solid 4/10.

I can't say, I know, what's the best friend to everyone. Everyone has a different set of values and prefers different people.
A good friend to me is someone, who will take time to listen to you and help you. Someone empathic to your problems, who will do more than just listen and say "Oh, that's horrible", or "That's great".
It would be a person dedicated enough to not only listen to you, but understand and work with what you are telling them.
Obligatorily, you'd also have to enjoy each others' company...

There's a lot of granularity, I haven't touched on.
