  1. Pigs in blankets (Sausages in puff pastry) (It's easily my favorite partysnack ever since I was a child.) Ingredients (for 2 servings) 2 rolls of puff pastry 8 sausages (vegetarian ones taste just as good) 1 egg salt optional: black cumin (If you have access to good tasting whole cumin, you can use that aswell, but it's hard to get in the US) How to prepare Getting the perfect temperature to prepare the pastry isn't easy. I suggest preparing each roll one at a time, leaving the rest in the fridge until you actually want to use it, because it can get sticky and way too stretch when it's warm. The dough being TOO cold is also a problem, because it can break if you unroll it either too fast or when it isn't warmed up enough. Especially the inner part! You'll have to unroll it slowly enough so the dough doesn't break, but don't take too long either. After a couple of batches, you'll get the hang of it. Once it's unrolled, cut it into 16 pieces of the same size by cutting 3 times horizontally and 3 times vertically. What I do is halving the sheet once vertically, once horizontally to end up with 4 pieces that have the same size ratio as the original one and repeat that with the small ones again. (Sounds harder than it is) Then you take 4 of the sausages, lay them next to each other, cut them in half and take the halves and cut them in half again. You'll end up with 16 pieces of roughly the same size. Now you'll take a puff pastry piece and a sausage, roll it in, and close the ends (So the insides stay nice and juicy) Do that until you run out of sausages and puff pastry. Repeat the whole process for the next roll aswell. Place them all on baking paper (Or better, reuse the paper from the puff pastry. It works just as well and saves you time and money) Now you'll have to whisk an egg in a bowl and glaze every single piece with it. You can use a clean painting brush, but a silicone brush for baking is generally much better! Add a pinch of salt to each piece Add some cumin on all of them. Place in the oven for 30-45 minutes at 180°C (close to 356°F) Once the timer is up, make sure that it is gold brown like in the upper picture. If so, it's time for a taste test. Take one out with a fork, be sure that it's not too hot to put in your mouth and take a bite. If the dough is still raw on the inside, you may want to leave it in for another 5-10 minutes depending on your taste. At this point, it won't be dangerous to consume either way, but it will become more flakey and expand more if you leave it longer. Bon Appetit.

  3. I am very much aware of that. I just thought that if it was overlooked until now, bumping might help!
  4. I'd suggest to bump the application. If they haven't reviewed it by now, there's a fair chance that your application was overlooked.
  5. I wouldn't go that far, but it seems like a pretty chill group with nice people.
  6. Thank you Holly! I feel like I''m a huge step closer to being accepted!

Maybe it's time for me to be actual part of it. I know that I've caused a bit of drama in the past, but I haven't in a while. I have been playing on the Minecraft server a while back with ScottNi and some others! Hopefully y'all have a nice day!
  8. I've not made any sprays whatsoever before. The most I've done was load up a png, I've drawn many years ago. But I'm pretty savvy with animations and that kind of stuff. I'm confident, I could make just about anything. Any artstyle. But when it comes to animations, I'm more versed with motion tweens and effects than with classical animations drawn frame by frame. (Honestly just never tried anything complex, so I'm not going to advertise it.) The point of this all was not to advertise my art, but to try something new and give people the opportunity to get something custom. Maybe that was a stupid move on my side. Who would take this offer, if they don't know my skill? I thought, giving it out for free was reason enough. Edit: Also, if noone looks at sprays... Why is there even a whole topic on here for sprays?
  9. I have no clue, where else to ask this.
    But about your Lucario model.

Did you go to college for this, or how else did you learn it? ? Any resources, you are willing to share?
And what programs do you recommend for texturing? Or are you using blender for that? And if so, can it generate normal maps, light maps etc? How's your workflow looking there?
I'm just asking, because I'm especially blown away by the love for detail on the Gallantmon armor!! Absolutely amazing work on the shading!
But you didn't make the model for Lucario specifically, am I right? ?

Sorry, if I'm overwhelming you with questions. I'm just really a fan of your work! If you haven't already, you should totally consider working in the game industry! ?

    Have a wonderful day!

I believe Reiki mentioned that they were using Blender, but I know nothing of the topic so I can't really say much else for what they're doing.

@Tatost As in blender for texturing? Because if so, that's impressive.

      Well,

1.-All I know on Blender was thanks for my friend that has experiences with it, but also by looking at different tutorials and practice by myself.

2.-Majority of my models come from this website ( https://www.models-resource.com )

3.-For texturing, you can actually create basic textures for models on Blender, but also use other programs like Paint Tool SAI.
On my case, I use both of them all the time.

4.-You can create whatever you want with Blender, maps, lights, water, clothes, etc. ((I will try to show you some screenshots of my works

5.-You need a lot of time and patience to get a good finish when doing the Render

6.-No, that model is from Pokemon X/Y of 3Ds, I also have other models of different Pokemons, but I'm still trying to fix them.

7.-I had a model of Gallantmon that I used as a reference to create that armor for Lucario

Thanks, it feels nice to know that someone love my work, hehe.

  10. I'm closing the submission, because apparently noone needs animated sprays and custom artwork. I honestly hoped for at least one submission. Something like "A sun, quickly covered in darkness to reveal an evil laugh and slowly fading back into a normal sun", or "A unicorn shitting a rainbow while running" or even just "a bomb exploding, revealing the letters xG". Is it because of my bad reputation here, or because noone plays TF2 or CS anymore? Maybe I should have gone for custom animated avatars? Guess, I'll have to go back to making games.
  11. I just did a test last week. It was a solid 4/10. Still don't know, what to make of it, since I had never any problems telling emotions or other stuff, you commonly associate with being autistic.
  12. You started with your synonyms for bottom dollar! :c
  13. What the f... I don't want anyone to get to do anything to my biscuit. Not even my girlfriend.
