virr 808 Posted November 4, 2016 Give us more information. Are we playing cevo, faceit, esea or just climbing in matchmaking? How serious is this going to be? @Rhododendron 1 Lithium reacted to this
LeToucan 136 Posted November 4, 2016 Is this going to be an actual team that runs strats, or a pug? if its ESEA, do you have to pay for your own subscription? for cevo, which league is it going to be? how many players are on the team? how is starting lineup being decided? 1 1 Lithium and jubens45 reacted to this
MinerTeddy 46 Posted November 4, 2016 I say we take all of the top 10 gameMeme scores from JB and Minigames, average them out, do a 10 man, and have the winning team be our CSGO team! 1 2 1 DrLee, LeToucan, Aegean and 1 other reacted to this
Rhododendron 994 Posted November 4, 2016 I will be covering costs from my own pocket for now with whatever fees are deemed important, as well as servers for playing on.
LeToucan 136 Posted November 4, 2016 ESEA would be 6.95 per person per month, not counting the actual league fees. CEVO AM last year was 7.50 per person. Both leagues provide servers.
Chrono 372 Posted November 4, 2016 Can we just vote the scrim memesters get the team? lol
Thorax_ 539 Posted November 4, 2016 Damn, that's one hell of a price per person per month.....
virr 808 Posted November 4, 2016 (edited) darn, that's one hell of a price per person per month..... Yeah, ESEA is a 3rd party matchmaking service. They have their own client and a better/more intrusive anti-cheat as well as higher quality servers. CEVO offers something similar but has a free version. Aegean 849 Posted November 4, 2016 I have absolutely no issue with us starting a team for CS:GO but please choose 5 people who will legit try to get better if you are paying them. I trust @Bleed and @Lithium with the final decision but this means people should at least try to Understand and learn basic strats (i.e. default, A/B execute) Practice and know smokes, mollies, flashes, nades, DM and watch pro players Play to improve, which may include watching replays I completely understand my knowledge in CS:GO is lacking, but I know what it takes to hit high elo in a competitive game, and you have to actually dedicate time and effort and try to learn instead of just meme. My reasoning for it as I said is because Rhodo is willing to fund it which is why I want to be strict about it. Just please take it seriously if you are considering it. 2 lilbleed and virr reacted to this
