even though everyone is being like "yeah he's right guys +1+1+1+1+1+1+1 yeah guys we should be mature and deal with our problems like adults" I know for one fact NO ONE in this thread will be even SLIGHTLY affected. The reason being the fact that this is the internet this thread has a nice purpose and i totally respect the effort put into it but if you actually want this to have any impact on anyone, you need to re-evaluate your promotions first (take a hint on how im talking about certain moderators and mostly admins (who have been re-promoted recently (do i need to be more specific?))) edit: also i know nothing about the "events last night" so this came outta nowhere for me

@Snackbar I vote that we do something about the constant predator days from all the randoms on CT. If at all possible it might be a good idea to make it once every 2 special days if that's possible to code at all or even just remove them all together. Predator days every 3 rounds are really annoying and I think that something should be done, but that's just my opinion

Why not remove ways to get unbanned that don't benefit the community cause most of the people that use these unbans deserve them?

you should probably either play jb and/or be more active on ts/forums if you really wanna get back in, nobody whos a member/staff really plays surf and I don't see you in teamspeak unless you're in a room alone/with 1 friend. It's obvious that a lot of people have issues with how you act, and if you want to them to change that you should probably prove yourself as a nice guy who'd fit the community. This aside, +1 Very active on surf, and from what I've seen on his own surf server he used to(?) run, lots of players looked up to him and he was very helpful to players who weren't as good

INB4 Drama starts in this thread. But on a serious note, yea, it needs to stop, it feels like some sorta huge drama comes up every month now. But I have been away forever, (AND STILL AM HAHAAHAH) so, what do I know? Never the less. +1

here's my opinion on most of the drama based problems going on in xG there wouldn't be as much people causing drama if we didn't try to make our servers and forums child-friendly and open for people with the mind of pre-schoolers who can't deal with "things that might huwt theiw feewings" take pokemon trade server for example, half the drama spreads into the entire clan from that server since it's full of adult children with psychological problems (i could give a shit ton of examples but i don't think there is a necessity for it since you all probably know at least some of the individuals im talking about) I mean i still can't tell if some people here were molested as a kid or they actually just really love causing drama, being offended, and overall being very sad human beings but either way that doesn't really concern me at all what does concern me is the fact that too many unnecessary rules and that i think they are some-what the reason all this drama is happening take the ban of death threats for example, what about people getting banned/kicked by certain admins for a slight amount of disrespect? and getting banned for the usage of certain words with comedic purposes etc. etc. i see zero tolerance from most admins on this and thats one of the reasons i don't even wanna play on the servers anymore, all the bans i've seen on the servers, with the reasons so exaggerated and absurd because of all the salty and ban happy admins (one of them majorly being the one I was talking about earlier) just feels like a kindergarten while they also attract people suitable for kindergarten

Lmao. "This is the internet" and "this is xG" are not valid excuses. That's like killing someone and going "this is North Korea". Like what? Still doesn't make it okay. We may be on the internet, but it's our corner of the internet. Go take your drama elsewhere. I agree with Scoot on the zero tolerance policy. It's tiring and time consuming to solve disputes caused by the ole' xG telephone. (Please note this applies to the TF2 servers, TF2 forums, and TF2 members in TS)

I use indubitable green for my spoi set. It looks nice with the noir. That's my two cents.

If problems continue to persist with our staff after this thread, those individuals will find they won't remain staff for very long. EVERYONE is affected by this, because I'm going to begin rigorously enforcing a zero-tolerance rule about this very subject within my staff. People would be wise to take this thread seriously. Heh, can't reiterate this one enough.

I'm going to be inactive cause of sports and education.. I'm trying to get into another school for grade 12 soon so I really need to get up my marks which are low.. maybe will be more active in 1-2 months Ill be active on forums and steam.. just won't play games

I don't think you understand what this thread is about. This is about our members, staff, ex-staff, etc. making up stuff about people or hearing something incorrectly and spreading it around. Then it gets back to the people (because no one will talk to anyone), and we have another fight on our hands that is completely pointless. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As for the other things you stated: There's a level of admin tolerance, obviously some people have more. I can't say about the forums, but we have the censorship because I believe Google docks us ad money if we have cursing on the forums. The death threats rule was originally for those people who got so angry that they would threaten someone's life. (ex: I'm going to kill you and your family.) I don't know how it's spread to jokes like "kill urself" or other things. Admin disrespect? I have yet to see a ban so far about this. If you're talking about how we talk about a simple rule like "don't gun glitch" or "use !guard to join blue" and we have to talk to the person 30 times, yet they ignore us. Of course we are going to ban them. The zero tolerance policy is for our OWN members/staff. They should know better than to start the petty-ante drama bullshit (we're back to telephone again). Use your words and talk to the person. As for the unnecessary rules, we have two groups in xG. Those who need everything in writing, and those who have common sense. I'm leaning towards LESS rules and more common sense. However, it seems most people need everything in writing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If staff are going to have a problem with speaking to people, and spreading drama (instead of shutting it down right there like I've told them in the past), then there will have to be some changes. We are at an impasse. Either the staff will change, or we will change the staff :) TL;DR - You really should read it. We're talking about the people starting the drama and spreading it around (i.e staff and members). If they won't change, the staff roster will change.
