on second review of thee video, theres an immediate disconnect after the mass, I highly doubt your "brother" was intentional enough to just mass and immediately leave like that- Changing team ban to permanent, you will still be able to play as a T. Give it some time, at least 30 days, and make a new protest

I did get on and mute him, then left without unmuting him (Forgot to unmute, my bad). But i can confirm he was mic spamming without looking at those videos. As soon as i joined all I heard was complete ear rape, and I feel like i saw him on JB or RPG Surf doing the same thing some other time. Not sure if a ban is necessary though. If so I +1, but it might just come down to a warning/keep an eye on this guy sort of thing.

Kind of hard to tell whats going on, especially in the first video. Next time, if possible, give us as much time before the killing starts so we can for sure determine what the orders were/if the kills were for a reason. Based on the second video I think its pretty same to assume it was a mass, thus will be permed from CT. Closed, and thanks for the report.

-1 for Jinx, he's not too bad. Maybe a warning. Pokemon... he spams all the time, gets muted all the time(then still continues to spam, im close enough to banning him if he keeps it up), screams in his mic all the time. In one case he left the server and rejoined to unmute himself and he said "LOOK I CAN UNMUTE MYSELF" so i warned him not to avoid punishments like that. I don't think it would warrant an immediate ban though. At the most, he should be put in a last chance situation. I'm near close to muting him every time he's on, that's how bad he gets. +1(ish) for Pokemon

All looks too convenient to me so you'll have to pardon my skepticism. We've had the whole "oh, my brother went on and massed" story countless times, hell we've even had a Staff Member tell us that his cat slayed everyone, so it's a very unlikely story. That being said, I just want to point out the following things that, as mentioned earlier, seem far too convenient. 1. Grant and Fentoo are friends on Steam; it is far more likely that they were just shit-disturbing than it is that they're two harmless friends having a good time, especially given that Fentoo joined in on the freekilling right near the end and was following Grant around. 2. Offending player's brother thought it would be funny to mass freekill or just kill all of the Ts. Simple enough, but it's odd that he would go to the trouble of disconnecting from the Server moments after. Wouldn't it be obvious that he tampered with your account? It would make more sense for him to mass freekill, and then leave it logged in. 3. It is so incredibly easy to lie about this stuff, especially when it's all based off of the evidence provided. Anyone could make up a story when we (the 'jury', so to speak) are unable to see his actions off screen. Just my two cents. Don't think he should be unbanned from CT at the least.

What @Forest said is pretty accurate but idk if preordering is all that worth it, you dont get any bonuses and you might not enjoy it, but the only thing im pre ordering this year is deus ex mankind divided. i know im gonna enjoy the story at the very least. so i'd say check out beta coverage and see if you think you might enjoy it but to say it again its probly best to have friends to play it with cause the darkzone is gonna be a bitch other wise

Ok time for my two cents. We all know that he abused recently and while I don't think it was a good example for how people should use their powers I do believe that what he did (while a little overkill) was in the wrong his intention was pure. With that I would +1 on the fact that he acted to stop rule breaker. I'm by no means saying donators should abuse instead of calling staff or just recording it to punish the rule breaker when staff comes online. I would say that if he understands what he did wrong and is willing to grow from it i would love to see him get mod (or at least probation like janal). There is no reason in my mind that he shouldn't be given the chance to show that he is mature enough to be a mod.

Absolutely powerless to do anything, except...I dunno...use the calladmin bot, or message me on Steam to come handle it, because I was on at the same time. But no, instead it was decided to take matters into your own hands and abuse the donator system in order to punish a wrongdoer. Sorry m8o, but that's not our M.O. around here. Toma's a great guy and everything, but I can't stand behind making him a mod just yet. The reaction I received when I was forced to remove his donator powers was "lolworthit". I'm not sure that's someone I can fully trust with running our servers, but then again, I haven't really seen much of him since then. I mean, he may have matured and grown out of it. Hell if I know. Not going to +1 or -1 on this one. I'll remain neutral and see how the others feel. Like I said, Toma's a great guy, but I feel like the power abuse thing could be an issue. I'll see what others think and reflect on their input before making a final decision. (Not a personal attack. Just my perspective.)

There's Morbus on GMOD, which is getting loads of nightly population. Just because it's not triple A-A-A like TTT, Darkrp, Prop Hunt etc. doesn't mean it's not a good gamemode. Pretty much every GMOD server requires constant staff to deal with various things. The massive amount of servers means endless jumping for trolls. (which by definition is someone who's goal is achieve a negative reaction, in-order to feed personal enjoyment) Moderation in particular is a pretty complicated concept; especially, if you're using pro-resolution strategies instead of just banning and slaying everyone. In my opinion, very few people are good Moderators to start with.

It is a fun game mode (imo) but it was popular for a month then people got bored of it. If we did make another one(not worth it imo), it would have to be updated daily just to have people keep interest.
