If he is raiding steam profiles, you could just delete his comments and ignore him, or I think you could block all communication with that user (unsure what that does for profile posts). I would say wait for him to return and then make the call based on his behavior post-ban.

+1 for perm, we don't want toxicity involving slurs and racism on the server.

But i believe that its not fair to me, considering the fact that I've been abused by the players and the staff. one player [xG] Parasect, has constantly insulting me and harassing me by calling me things like "stupid little kid" "retard" and other insulting nouns and adjectives. and his buddy, (and one of your mods)xg:m Bagel was "kind" enough to ban me because i triggered them by calling myself "Parasect" and "Bagel is a feg" this harassment has been going on ever since i started playing the server. (about a year or two ago) Its the only fun server, with a lot of players, yet its the most cancerous. I feel that a person as rude and unworthy of the title moderator as Bagel should have his ability to ban and kick anyone he doesn't like (ie; being a mod) should be taken away from him. PERMANENTLY. unfortunately I don't have any demo files or screenshots of this cyber bullying/harassment, and thus the workers of xG probably wont take this protest seriously, but I speak from the bottom of my heart. And I don't feel like xG is a safe server for those who are not liked by the staff and players. That is all.

New update for CS:GO on a beta branch - This is a fairly major update, with a large number of important fixes for hitboxes, landing animations, and changes to crouch spam. I figured I'd post this here just to let everyone know how you can play this beta, since it's not automatically pushed to all clients. Patch Notes: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive To switch your CS:GO client to the beta branch (or back to release), go to your Steam library, right click on csgo and select properties: Then, click on the "Betas" tab and select 1.35.4.7rc to play the beta. First of all, just because someone on the server treats you like utter fudge doesn't mean you have to take the Keemstar route and retaliate back, if you are being bullied by other players on the server then use !calladmin and we will try to help you out with the situation. Second, we banned you because you impersonated a member and you disrespected staff. Me and @Flareon even told you to stop your action but you decide to be the big rebellious tough guy and argue with admins. What have I ever done to you anyway lol? I've never bullied / harassed you on the servers, even when I wasn't a mod, and then out of the blue for no reason you decide to unleash your hate on me. Also, it's just a day ban not a perm.

can confirm it was not always great. these past few years (the parts i was here for) were good but not AS great as around xGs beginning. Like i've said before, i wont vouch for anyone as im not active and i dont think its fair if im not on to see the rest of hid improvement. But before my pc broke again he was definitely improving, and i feel he definitely deserves temporary mod at the least. Worst case remove it if he abuses, but looking at how hard hes trying to become staff i cant see him doing that, atleast not intentionally.

At this point I think only spontaneous events and memes.

Well, if we are talking about "special occasions" of getting a server populated, then why are we just up and forgetting about jb2? We had a full server just 2-3 days ago for a good hour or two until we got bored. I know I'm defending jb2, but what can you really expect from me ;). If a server is getting replaced, then ya know what I say? Call a community vote and see what server they want to be changed and what to change it into, I feel that would be the best way to populate the server and keep it populated. I would recommend getting a plugin that auto bhops for the average who can't do it manually so they don't feel left out of the fun when the map is switched to said bhop map. That is, if this idea is used.

Banning him permanently isn't going to stop him from writing vulgar things on your profiles. Instead of extending to perm, you guys need to utilize the features that Steam provides. You either ignore him and delete his comments, or you go to your profile settings and set the permissions to "Friends only". He can't post onto your profile if he's not friends with you guys. I'm sorry, but this one is for you guys to solve. We can't hold your hand all the time. Especially over petty stuff like this where he is looking for you guys to react this way. Once his month ban is up and Alf causes trouble on the servers still, then it'd be more realistic to request a perm. Thoughts @mrnutty12?

Xeno Gamers ^Comms Bans Xeno Gamers ^Regular Bans He hasn't been banned once. He has been silenced for 2 hours. I say ban him for a week or two, and if he persists then go to a perm. Jumping to a perm now is too excessive. In other words, +1 for 1-2 week ban, that being his final warning.
