I apologize in advance to any higher ups if I'm out of line making this thread So, what am I talking about? Why, none other than Conscientious Objectors. I've noticed there's no written rule about Objectors containing inappropriate content, much like our Spray rule, and this is a problem. Hell, I don't even know if such a rule exists, but it sure needs to. Nothing like having a moving porn spray whacking you in the back of the head on a map, . But having a rule in place for such a thing isn't the only reason I've made this thread. The real issue is having Staff members enforce a rule regarding nudity/derogatory content in sprays whilst having an Objector equipped with something equally as bad or even worse. Lemme run a scenario by you. A player joins and uses his spray. Perhaps it's a bit too revealing and it breaks our rules. A Staff member warns him about it and removes the spray. A while passes and that same player notices that the Staff member's currently equipped Objector contains the same damn thing. Why, that'd be embarrassing, wouldn't it? Hypocrisy among our Staff members, why never! Well, it happens quite a bit... More often than you'd want it to. "But Bone" you may be saying "It's just a little bit of nudity/lewd content. Don't be such a baby!" That's not the point. It's the principle of it. Even if there's no rule on it currently, Staff shouldn't be trying to circumvent the spray rule by putting it on a sign instead. We're supposed to be enforcing rules, not showing people how they can get around them. Although it might just be my OCD, I'd prefer if it was a written rule. I hate the old "An Admin once said this was against the rules, I think" A rule being just hearsay that only a group of people might of heard or were present upon it's creation just bugs me.

Fun fact, there is a thread up on admin forums right now rewriting the rule regarding sprays. We could extend it to include objectors and stuff too if you guys want.

Bit something to add here that might be relevant. I had a similar situation when muting @Foxingkat on jailbreak a few days ago where on the very next round, his mute was no longer in place. At first I assumed he was avoiding his mute, but he had not left and returned to the server so I took a minute to think and got a hunch. I was able to confirm this hunch just now, where when players are muted and then unmuted at the start of the round, it overrides any mutes put on them without actually removing said mute. I tested this with both a mute and silence on a willing player, and had the exact same results. Now I have no idea if our friend here had happened to leave and return or done anything else to get around his silence, but if it were simply that 7 minutes had past, well enough for a new round to have started, then he may very well have done nothing. Simply put i'm in the belief that the server is what allowed him to get around his mute, not him. If this is the case, then i'm actually gonna +1 for an unban. If anyone can tell me i'm completely bat shit wrong, then never mind :derp:.

Your mutes your bans If you check the times on both you will see you had an hour silence and after only about 7 minutes you were able to talk again. Also it is a day ban, you can wait it out thinking about how you shouldn't ignore someone when they ask you to not burp loudly on the mic repeatadly and then circumvent the resulting mute.

That is the greatest challenge.

In the early days he was pretty toxic with edgy memes and going on about child pornography being allowed and bad jokes like that, but he was punished and since then he has gotten a lot better. He has become a regular on dr which is thicc and has been pretty cool towards others and actually decent to hang out around lately, but I still don't wanna give him a +1 nor a -1 so I'm just gonna stay neutral on this but if he starts up that shit again then I'm gonna beat him into yesterday's breakfast.

Is there any chance that the "Sticky Threads" and "Normal Threads" Headings could be formatted in a different way? It might just be me, but they appear to be too subtle to really notice or distinguish between one or the other. They sort of just blend into the background as they currently are. @Rhododendron

Yeah we need a detailed rule about this stuff ESPECIALLY about the cropped butts n stuff cus I see way to many staff loop hole this but I never dared to question it but now I fully understand that it's not okay.
