Recently, someone gained unauthorized access to the ND server Stickz was running and decompiled every plugin on there and posted it on GitHub listed here: GitHub - schrodingerballs/nucleardawn
 
We are assuming the worst and will be changing all MySQL passwords as well as wiping the server. Stickz is currently trying to figure out how the breach was done since we don't want this to happen again. The MySQL users are all IP whitelisted so it's unlikely he is able to connect to it to steal any further content.

I'm all for him being promoted.

For a few months now, my interest in TF2 has hindered and recently I've been caught up in work and other time-consuming activities. Frankly, I don't have the time to keep up my hours and stay as a staff member and I've noticed that whenever I'm able to play, nobody is online. (Enough) People get on later than what I can do. Therefore, I'm afraid I will be stepping down from Moderator. I may attempt to get staff again in the future, but probably not for quite a while. I will still be staying in the clan and will pop on every now and then, just like I do normally. Sorry everybody <3

Hey everyone. For the last couple months, I've been contemplating my experiences in xG. I've come to the conclusion that I am not exactly happy with what is going on in the TF2 division and I no longer have the time or ability to worry about it anymore. Unfortunately, due to real life circumstances, I feel it is time that I step down to member. Most of you who know me personally will understand why. If you don't, I'll explain it. My Uncle was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma about 6 months ago and we have been searching around for bone marrow donors. Turns out, I'm a match. I'm going to fly out to him next week and donate my marrow. Concurrently, I have to figure out college and my career.
 
I know I haven't exactly been myself during these past few months, and I apologize again if anyone was upset by it. Stress has a way of affecting people that isn't very pretty. However, before I step down, I want to thank some people:
 
Rhodo and Kbraszzle: Thank you for giving me the opportunity to improve the TF2 division. I feel that I have been able to improve the overall quality of our servers.
Hachi, Chicken, and Whyte: Even though we had a rough patch a couple months ago, thank you for being great friends. I miss all of the memes and laughter that we shared, and I wish you the best.
Bello: Good luck with TF2, it's your baby now :)
Rejects: It's up to you to hold the standards now. I believe you can do it, bud! :D
 
TF2 Staff: I appreciate all of your hard work so far. We have made a difference, not just in our community, but in other communities as well. I'm glad I could call some of you my friends, and I hope you'll stick around! (y)

So my family and I went out for supper and when we came back the computer was updating from windows 7 to windows 10. The mother, who is determined to remain on windows 7 for whatever reason, started to panic. In this panic she decided to shut off the PC using the power button. which while updating, you should never do ever. (common sense but not in my family) this caused the PC to shut off. (obviously) and when trying to turn on the PC, it ended up in a mode which now it's scanning for repairs. knowing my PC this could take an hour to fix, or on the opposite end of the spectrum, could last a few weeks. so basically it's either rip or not rip. I'm just making this thread in case it is rip.

Alright new Teamspeak server is setup. However it does not allow clients spread across it unfortunately :( It's live based on the current structure of our Teamspeak server but files aren't being synced over so I'll be using GitHub - axkibe/lsyncd: Lsyncd (Live Syncing Daemon) synchronizes local directories with remote targets to merge the files over live. Then we will setup a load balancer using the new TCP checker and once it goes down, clients will disconnect and be sent immediately to the new Teamspeak server... I think lol.

Excellent. If we can get this done before we get flooded with summer kiddies, that'd be perfect. :D
