no thanks, people just using the music rooms on maps makes me want to jump off of a cliff. I have my own music, I don't want to hear a terrible song mixed in with what I'm listening to.

My suggestion is when a player rolls Toxic, it should play Britney Spears toxic around the player. Just locally so its not a whole server spam (if thats possible)

Please remove my membership status from forums, discord, etc. 
The main reason I'm leaving is because someone like me, a member who proudly wore the [xG] tag for so long and was a former staff member to boot, shouldn't be representing xG. What happened is I was saying some stupid stuff (like, really bad) on YouTube comments* I regret and am very sorry for. Someone recently brought them to my attention (I forgot all about them). I was immature, and, well I guess I've changed since then. I feel really really bad about them. 
*Don't bother looking for them I deleted my channel 
I want to say sorry to @Tatost and anyone else who may've been affected, and also one last time to @bagggel for something that happened awhile ago where I was also immature in the Minecraft division.
But there's another big reason I'm leaving xG; I just got bored of it. I rarely find myself on xG servers anymore, and as such I'm not very qualified to partake in forum discussions so that's out too. I guess there's just not much here for me anymore ?
I just can't find the words to express my gratitude and love of some of the amazing people I've had the pleasure of becoming friends with here. It's been such a gift to have met such wonderful personalities. @ClassicGamer64 @Natsu @Krampus @virr @Aegean @Chrono @YeEternalTuna @Kypari @CappyCappy @Egossi @ael_fjordling @shwash @TBOHB @Caleb956 (and these are just the people I feel closest to, you guys rock!!)

As a lot of you know, it was my 22nd birthday today. It feels kind of douchey to write a note in the General section of the forums, but I really need to say this, and I have no idea where else to leave a message like this.
I cannot begin to express how thankful I am about joining this clan. When I first joined Nintendo Sixty-Fortress 5 years ago, I could have never guessed the amount of genuine, authentic friendships I would develop within this time. I apologize if this whole post sounds a bit weird, but I just want to thank everyone for making xG what it is for all of these years. Here's to many more!

Keeping mod discretion and the final say is definitely necessary and ofc we can not all agree. Making the rules more definite and clear helps way more, as it is easier for mods to incorporate them, all the same.
People will always whine about final say and that discretion is abuse but keeping the rules clear should help a lot

+1 He's drastically changed from the way he was back from when I was staff to now. He actually follows the rules now and I honestly think he should become member since he just fits the role well imo.

Ok so i forgot to include a reason:
MJP is someone who has some drama surrounding him and is looked down on by some, but is actually fairly easy to deal with and truely loves xG and would love to see it improve. By simply treating him with respect but still keeping firm, he'll recognize you and treat you with respect. This has worked well for me and he now trusts me. He has led to being considering him as one of the very trustworthy surf regulars as he has never given me false information.

Constantly likes to talk over people, to the point where he'll "sush" someone just so he can talk, and start arguments. He's had a pretty big comms ban history in the past few weeks. He needs to work on these things before we should consider him as a member

-1 Very immature and rude. Talks over others, trolls other players, incites drama within the community constantly. Currently is far from becoming a member to the community in my opinion.

Just wanna chime in after reading the thread, for the few who think we should just remake the MOTD, it is NOT easy to just write rules that will not need to be touched on in the future, all it takes is one person to interpret them their own way for us to have to clarify or edit it. I have absolutely no issues with that either as I'd rather people not have to argue about a rule that isn't clear. 

In CS:S, some rules we created for JB never had to be touched whereas others constantly got reworded. Common sense is unfortunately not that common, so keep that in mind before contemplating why higher-ups won't just "solve the problem"

 

Staff discretion is iffy and having unclear rules leads to this circle of people claiming mod abuse and mods claiming rule breaking. By having set easy to understand rules, with a few mod discretion rules (Trolling, harassment to an extent) It will help rule breakers know which rule they broke and mods/admins know which rule they enforced. The way it is now I check MOTD before anything because otherwise you get into an issue of them saying you are wrong as they interpreted it different leading them to claim abuse.
Rewording is definitely necessary and I would love to help with that if asked

Talks over staff and player a lot. Starts a lot of drama, likes to loophole whenever possible. Is kind of a bully, intentional or not and can be rude to staff and members because of this. Active but quiet half the time and the other half is bragging or starting arguments. 
However he does try to have a calm non yelling voice, the issue is I think he is unaware of how disrespectful some of the things he says can be.

He gave a trade offer of one scrap. And I warned him of a ban if he did not gift (Which is technicaly avoiding punishment). He came back and I asked directly if he would give him the ref, He said no, jsut no in chat. Ontop of this the spot he chose as a hiding spot was an exploit.
TLDR:He was warned to do the trade and did not, he tried to avoid a ban and still did not trade

We've had 1 and 3 before! Slender Fortress is fun, but people tend to play FF2/VSH more than Slender Fortress that I've seen over the time we had it. People change over time so maybe bringing it back wouldn't be a bad idea!
We currently DO have a Highlander server from back when we use to have a team. Its just locked since its only used for scrims/games! Feel free to try to put together a team and you'd be welcome to use it!

I think we should try to find a GM that most other servers DON'T have! That may cause us to dig a little, but its always fun to find new stuff~

(Ironically) A strange farming server:
A lot of people are always looking for some kind of these servers, So there'd always be some kind of population. Usually, players trade scrap for time and kinda just, do the do. I've been on a few of these kind of servers and people never seem to cause a problem. But of course, we have !calladmin if anything does happen. We should have ad for !servers pop up more often on this server! If we're looking for a new population, I think a server like this wouldn't be too bad lol

I dont /THINK/ we've had this kind of server before. A lot of our players like rocket jumping and the challenge, So I think introducing this kind of server for at least a test run wouldn't be a bad idea!

I've never seen a game mode like this before! This sounds like a super fun creative GM that people can have fun on for hours! I would also suggest maybe setting up a test server for this!

People like to RP on TGH a lot, So I think a GM like this wouldn't hurt! 
 
xG needs some things that are new too us, honestly. People probably only know us for JB/TGH, so bringing in a GM never seen on our servers would be a great start!
