So I made a short video demonstrating how the plugin could work in game: *Note: I know it's not a 100% accurate representation due to not having a Death to operate the traps 
You may notice that it doesn't take much time at all to build up speed, which removes any concerns that not everyone can do it and that people will waste time building speed for 12 hours. If this is instead an issue, there's a cvar that causes speed only to be gained from more curved hops. The same cvar can be used to allow speed to be gained on straighter hops, but that would make it far too easy.
I'd also like to point out that even at full acceleration, it still took 2 jumps to get across the spikes after the bridge. So building up speed to magically skip traps won't happen. Also, if speed is a concern, the cap can simply be set to 400. This allows Death's base speed to be unchanged and still give Runners an extra 100 Hammer units per second on successive hops.
The plugin also makes air strafing easier (this can also be changed), so it makes juking much more accessible.  

First of all, sorry that this is in general but i feel more people read this than the individual game sections.
I don't really go on the forums much, so idk if threads like this are posted frequently, if so i apologize.
I don't really play TF2 or video games as a whole that much anymore, but I recently played TF2 for the first time in a while, and found that JB was completely dead. While I understand that it has been a dead server for months, it still is depressing to see this be the case as it was essentially the TF2 div's largest and most populated server for years. Has the staff or any members tried any methods to try to repopulate the server? If not, could we host an event on a weekend or a Friday (which brings more players) in which people could get on jailbreak? Hopefully you guys agree that populating jailbreak would be pretty fun, even if it was for one night or a weekend. I understand TF2 has fallen off in players over the years, so that could be why the server has died. If you guys agree that xg should attempt to repopulate JB send this to your pals.

Elcark, you need to relax, you go on about holding staff to a high standard but losing your cool isn't exactly going to prove a good point if you can't keep yourself calm about this all.

I do find it very regrettable we both have been at such odds everytime you've shown up, though have been less then fond that your attitude has always been devoid of any positivity for others.
If I can look past that though and the general bandwagoning on drama that has been happening, then I can see the good intent behind you making the thread at this chaotic point in time. The way I reacted to it was due to the overall greater extent of what has been happening and while the manner I did was simply poopty, I have meant everything I've said.
I won't lie, I personally will not miss you. That being said i am sorry both to you and to those who will miss you.

I'm just going to talk about this for a second, because I've not said anything about it until now and I really feel like I need to say it.
I go back on what I said before when I banned you. I was an idiot and I've learnt from it now, so I'm sorry for banning you for a month. Luckily, I've learned from that experience and I feel a lot more confident when it comes to bans and such

and that's something I think has improved tremendously due to those groups that cause this having left. Regrettably leaving hasn't stopped them from coming back to track mud everywhere cause they're bored I guess. 

Im going to come out aswell and say this is partially one of the reason's as to why i stopped playing on the server.
I just felt like the entirety of xg developed into groups in which every group despised each other and would lead to people unfriending each other just because of slight issues with each other and no-one seemed to want to try and talk to each other to fix the issues.

Can we have a serious discussion about the nepotism going on in this clan? It's absolutely absurd.

It's about an admin using a suggestive furry porn spray. I personally believe that this shouldn't be happening, especially by someone who represents power in the organization. One person, @NitNat offers this suggestion:
He made a simple statement, and within five minutes, he got four replies and the thread was closed by the very same people he's referring to.
It's the community right now. A lot of them don't want to admit it, but the best way to get moderator isn't to show that you're hard-working, constantly on the servers and reminding others of the rules, but instead get real close to the current administration until you've got a spot in their private discord, at which you're pretty much a shoo-in all the way to administrator. Nobody wants to admit it though, because if they did, the facade would crumble, and they would have to take responsibility for their actions. If you looked at XenoGamers in the past, the best way to get staff positions was to be hardworking. Now all you have to do is talk up admins, and if you're a furry, it helps.
I'm really sad to see the dying division head down this path, but there's not much you can do besides look at them and laugh. Take what happened to me for instance. I changed my name to "tired of the tf2 badmins" and had the same group of people defending that it was justified, and not the clear overreaction it was. Was anybody punished for not obeying the handbook? Nope. I got my sentenced reduced to a day, even after the leader told them it was ridiculous.
There's a reason I take breaks for months, and come back for a few weeks at a time. I enjoy playing TF2, but the community here has gone to poop with all the favoritism and staff taking things way to personally. I really hope yall can get on track with this. I'm tired of having to walk on eggshells, but if you can't handle some banter or even some lite playful trolling, then what the fudge are you doing being a mod in the first place. I refuse to acknowledge anyone that gets seriously angry about what a person says about them on the internet, especially if they have some semblance of power. Grow a thicker skin, or step down.

This is pretty much the last post I'll ever make on these forums anyway. Maybe a goodbye thread.

So I'm leaving xG. I bet a lot of you are thinking "Oh boy, here comes some juicy drama", well then prepare for disappointment.
For about a year now, I've felt weird. I felt like something was off whenever I joined and played (what little I could) and I just couldn't pin down what it was. Today, it suddenly came to me, it's not 2013/2014 anymore. The community just doesn't feel like it did when I first started playing, or even when I came back in 2015. A lot of people would argue that xG used to be better. Some would say xG is better now than it's ever been. I just say it's different. It's not any better, it's not any worse, just different. Players and Staff have essentially rotated and have been replaced with newer people, and along with the rotation so has the general attitude on the servers. While that's not a bad thing, it's just not what I grew accustomed to.
For a while now, I've attempted to keep what little of the xG I knew intact, by trying to keep rules the same, revert things to how they were, but realized that I'm the only one who wants it that way. Everyone says they remember when xG was at it's peak, but they'll all give you a different answer on when that was. For me it was when I first started playing, back when there was a specific group of us who would play on VSH. Problem is, the majority of those people are gone now, and due to that I've been becoming increasingly bitter towards the community because "it's not old xG, not how I remember it".
But it wasn't really so much xG changing as it was me refusing to go along with it and clinging to how it was nearly 5 years ago with a completely different group of people. The biggest issue for me though was when @Bello stepped down from DL. Someone who was Staff for as long as I could remember, and someone I considered one of the best Higher-ups we'd ever had in the TF2 Division. For some reason I felt like because of that the community would start going to hell with all these strange new Staff members wanting to come in and ruin the community. This almost made me feel contempt for the community, simply because they wanted to change a few things or acted differently. I couldn't even read half of the discussions on Discord without feeling like I was gonna have an aneurysm. Again, this was essentially me fabricating problems and overreacting to small amounts of drama I'd see unfold, becoming unnecessarily disappointed with our new Higher-up roster for really no reason.
It wasn't until earlier today when I reacted to a post in a way I don't feel I normally would. It doesn't really help the fact that I was also wrong. After re-reading a lot of what I wrote, I realized I was reacting in a way I didn't like, based on the fact I didn't like the Higher-up because we had small issues before and because he's new to his position. So I came to the conclusion that I should simply remove myself from the community before I cause any real issues or divisions. 
I really don't want to leave, since I consider xG to be a bit of a home for myself, as dysfunctional as it may be sometimes, but I can't really have a home I feel borderline disdain for.
I'd like to apologize to @Elcark for essentially telling him that he's not fit for his position while simultaneously being horribly incorrect myself.
I'd also like to thank @virr and @Aegean for just being helpful in general and pulling the TF2 Division out of some tight spots sometimes. For anyone else who may have viewed me as a friend during my time in the community, thank you.
I don't know if I'll ever return to xG, but if I do, I'd hope you guys would welcome me without pitchforks and torches.

Unfortunately, we are here to say goodbye to one of our own, TrollFace aka Asa. Trollface was one of the original members of the community and one of the first higher ups alongside Silence. We found out of his death a few days ago from his girlfriend, and we'd like to formally give our condolences on the forums. XenoGamers would not be where it is today, if it wasn't for him. 
I wish his family and loved ones all the best, and remember to always show your appreciation to your friends and family cuz you never know when they might be gone.

-1, to both aspects.
I'll start with admin, as there are very few situations where i'd be ok with promoting someone straight to a higher position like that. Namely the only case I could think of would be if someone had to step down due to not being capable of being active enough and return not too long afterwards. This is neither of those cases as you stepped down, regardless of reason, of your own choosing and have refrained from being staff for a substantial amount of time. It is entirely unfair to other staff members who have had to consistently work and put in effort to reach a position for someone else to come up from nowhere to receive it based on merit and not on actual effort put forward. Staff positions are not something that should be treated as a welcome basket for people to receive as they come and go at their pleasing. The concept of someone leaving their position whenever they just don't feel like being active again and returning back into it whenever they change their mind is ridiculous (Not to say that is the case, but it's a matter of upholding the principle). 
Now if someone is suitable for a position, then really there is no reason that person shouldn't be  able to rise to that spot in short order. If they aren't capable of doing that, then that should be telling of if they were actually suitable still. Not only is this the most direct way to actually show this, but it's also the most direct way for you to show that you're wanting staff because you're putting the servers first, not because you want a position. I hold it in high regard that not only upcoming or returning ones but all staff members should be more then willing to do their work regardless of what position and powers they hold, because the first and foremost thing on their concern should be helping the server which can be done just as equally regardless of rank. 
Now when it comes to you getting staff, this is the much less hard -1. The first thing I usually tell most people who come to me and ask about getting staff is to try and act like staff when on, and you haven't been. The most you usually do in regards to this is calling out people of breaking rules frankly somewhat rudely most the time, which anyone can do. The goal is not to police the server, but to moderate them so they can be as enjoyable of a place for everyone. When punishing people for something going wrong it's also about helping them to understand exactly how things should be, and just in general being a helpful person to everyone on the server and someone that is viewed as reliable, friendly,  and people can come to with their issues if need be. Now I really probably didn't need to tell you much on that but honestly i'm making this all more of an address to about the whole concept. When it comes to you personally, a big thing is that you are plenty talkative with your friends, but not nearly as much to the rest of the server. That's definitely a direct thing that could be worked on that would be toned to the whole concept. 
To put it all a bit shorter, you were a good staff in the past, but the past doesn't tell us about now, it only allows us to make assumptions on what could be. I'm concerned about the here and now and what is. Show me that you can do well now, and everything will be great. 
 

Also @Skeletal there is absolutely no point in arguing the usage of an alt at this point, it's getting needlessly length and repetitive. It is not something that would be a problem and anyone can have their reason for such.
There's apparently a 3rd demo that has yet to actually show up, but until that point this will be closed as soon as a decision is made. If more evidence comes up in the future that points to actual hacking then he can always be rebanned.

@Kitten Information Firstly, I would like to remind everyone that after member applications where changed, member protests became a lot easier to do. 

Myself and a few other people have been suspicious of Kitten's actions as of since she joined xG. We would like her membership removed because of lying, stealing and a history of scamming others. Here is the evidence:

We were talking about Osu on surf and she says "i can duuu a 13-14 starrr map kypari", but the issue is that her Osu profile says otherwise: https://osu.ppy.sh/users/11690302 Obviously this alone is not grounds for removal because that would be silly. However, this does pile on top of everything else that she has done that I will present other evidence:

Despite how the description of the artwork on her profile is different now, she has claimed multiple times that this is her own artwork, stating that it took "5 hours to draw and animate"  Unfortunately, I was unable to get a picture of the artwork with this description, but I managed to get a screenshot of where I sent her artwork and it had that description on steam; the link will lead you to that particular drawing, which should be just as good of proof. I'm sure that we can agree that this is way too short of a time to be able to draw AND animate a picture like this, yet she claims she did it as per the link. https://sicnesse.deviantart.com/art/Witch-Akeno-587601982 Here is a link to a vectored version of this image, and after some research this picture seems to have circulated around the internet quite a lot. There is no doubt that this image was stolen and she lied about it on her profile and to other people claiming it was hers.

More evidence of her lying and stealing artwork to claim as her own, and quite frankly manipulating friends.
4. Finally, https://backpack.tf/trust/76561198409022488 her trust page contains evidence and information regarding two scams that she's been involved in, one of which includes $1000 worth of items. 
Personally, I don't want someone who is a lying thief who scams other people after manipulating them into thinking she's a good person as part of this community. It's unfortunate to even think that someone like this is in the community and even considered a friendly person by many.

I'm going to go of the basis of that awful comparison video, since that seems to be the focus.
I'm also going to go off the base of lyrical meaning that the lyrics of the artists are deep and meaningful, while mumble is just a good beat with some repetitive lyrics that follow suit (i.e. Lil Pump-Gucci Gang).
Eminem, Logic, Tech N9ne, and especially Hopsin are like the Wal-marts of "lyrical" rap. Yeah everyone might listen to them once in awhile, but they're afraid of being judged by it.
Eminem has some deep lyrics, but eh. Logic is the same way; He rubbed me the wrong way when he released his "Suicide Prevention Hotline" track. Saying "Woo!" after asking if anyone else feels the same over a suicide focused song just makes it seem like he is mocking those.
Post Malone-Rockstar should have been put into mumble. I'd personally even consider Congratulations into mumble just for the flow and repetitive lyrics.
The mumble portion felt fine although I'm surprised they didn't stuff Lil Uzi Vert in there.

Lyrical Rap isn't bad and neither is mumble rap, but it honestly just depends on mood. Are you being a big brained king? Then go with lyrical. If you're being a deep fried brain king? Then mumble rap is your pick. Both are great, and I will continue to bump to either of them. Except Eminem, Tech N9ne, and Hopsin. They're just awful in my opinion.
