i'm terrible at writing shit like this so i guess i'm just gonna keep this blunt

no longer wish to be a member, i might come around once or twice to say hi but, again, to keep it blunt, servers are very slow and usually have like 6-7 people whenever a tag goes out. that and from what i've noticed from joining servers with the [xG] tag, you don't really get the most welcome reception.

Going to have to -1 this. I took a look at your chat history and even just a few weeks ago some of the things you've said are not things I think a mod should be saying. I'd like to see an improvement first before I can recommend.
 

-1 after seeing this, in addition to hearing numerous reports of such behavior as well. Before applying for staff, try to at least represent the basic standards we expect from any other member of the community.
Denied and closed. Make another application when you’ve feel you’ve matured. Rules can be found here— you may want to brush up on them. 

Give a little more coherent detail on your personal reason for a +1, not just a quick copy/paste response. Responses like these are why there is a huge misconception (even with staff members!) that any form of application (ban, staff, abuse) is just a popularity/hate bandwagon contest where the most +1 or -1 is the choice decided. All applications are reviewed thoroughly, and legitimate responses are taken into consideration during the decision process among "higher-ups".

i wanted to join mostly because i found a pokemon server that would make things fun for a friend. been having some trouble trying to vote on a map or trying to get to a certian server. it says one way is to apply so here i go. i also love to help out, i play on counter strike once in awhile, i recently got garry mods and i am usually on discord 24/7 cause i own a discord server and i can be get a hold of if there an emergency on fandom. i would love to see more maps for tf2 mostly pokemon maps. :)

I'm going back to school on the 13th and because the last time i went concluded super poorly, I'm probably going to be taking the bags approach of like, uninstalling a lot of shit until the semester is over. I've had a job since then so it's not like I've been incredibly active as is, but i have a lot of problems not getting distracted by dead videogames and stupid internet conversations
i'll probably be back after that point come summer or something

Not sure if there's anything more to add than has already been said. My overall thoughts are something similar to what @Egossi, and the issue could've just been dealt with in private. Skittle has left the community willingly already, so i don't think any more action is needed as of now.

Oh I didnt look at the screenshots since imgur is still blocked in my third world country, but I would argue its outrageously fucked up when someone says things in bad faith in hopes of intentionally damaging or ruining the reputation of someone else, not when they're hardcore attention seeking by mentioning a whole bunch of depressing shit they havent actually done
I understand suicide is a serious topic and isnt meant to be "toyed with" or whatever but you have to understand, depressed people tend to seek attention really hard and sometimes they rationalize things they can do to seek attention in their heads (i.e. attempted suicide) which doesn't necessarily make them a horrible person
But hey I'm just giving a reasonable argument in defense of the guy since I have no idea who he is and hes seemingly being attacked by everyone else here

To all admins aspiring for the position of Division Manager (you know who you are (i think)),
@ABlueSkittle123 and I have summarized what we are looking for in order to better refine the decision making process and to be sure we make the right choice.
From our current admins seeking DM, we hope to see an increase in initiative (this involved taking a more active role in pop events, popping the servers, etc.), and in addition to this, a more in-depth understanding of the rules, as well as going beyond the basic responsibilities of admin on their own accord. Individual staff members have been messaged for additional, more specific instructions on how to improve.
Hopefully this was as short and sweet as intended.

I would be petty and leave a 💤 reaction like I always do with all of your posts, but there really isn't a point anymore. I'll give credit where credit is due, you've managed to go more than a month without dramatically leaving and coming back again, and you also seem more mature than you were from what I heard. Keep it up I guess.

In case you're (somehow) not aware, I've stepped down. This is as a result of many things, none of which are excuses.
For one, I've been extremely busy with life. I now work, go to university, have a social life and Rosa. We've recently made a massive discovery and found out exactly what is wrong with Rosa. As a result of simply a random nurse saying "You have similar symptoms to ____", we've discovered that Rosa was infact MISDIAGNOSED with M.E has chronic lymes disease (long lasting untreated lyme's disease, Lyme's Disease symptoms are similar to M.E) and has done since she was 11-12. It's rendered her immune system completely faulty and that common cold is still having a party in her body. Lots of these have progressed into something more serious, such as diseases that can often make her go paralysed in some limbs.
However, the fantastic news is that this is treatable and curable, with an up to 80% recovery possible.
It's been very difficult helping her prepare for the treatment but we're hoping for her to be possibly walking properly in 2 years time. It's going to be a very long journey, which is why I must accept that I can't remain as DL and leave the boys hanging. My passion and time to play TF2 has ran quite slim, due to multiple reasons (tf2 dead lol) and with all of this stuff going on around me, I didn't really have the time to play even if I wanted to. Timezones are also a bitch. I haven't touched the game in months and I realised after being messaged by @hongkongatron that I was holding onto something that I wasn't doing anymore, kinda like a gym membership, but it was making things worse for the people I would consider friends. So here we are.
 
I would like to say one thing though.
Community Managers, Community Leaders, whoever,
If someone doesn't touch the game they're supposed to be the leader of. Or even worse, not even touch the discord in a few months,
Please demote them. It only holds everyone else back.
 
I should've stepped down earlier and I apologize for that, no excuses.

Policy on slurs will remain unchanged.
However, if if it's all in good faith and everyone is enjoying themselves, please use lesser punishment (admin discretion) unless it becomes excessive.

If people don’t like slurs they can mute someone or turn off chat, I feel the same way about mic spam by the way. If one slut will he allowed, all of them should.

I feel as though there's a bit of confusion regarding slurs. What's allowed, is one allowed if used in a specific context, etc. I'd like to hear people's thoughts on what they think the slur rule should be.
I would like to restrict all slurs for equality's sake (racial, homophobic, etc) but no banning, just extended mutes.
What are everyone else's thoughts on this?

I wouldn't enforce anything that's too lengthy or strict, because we can't forget that moderating our servers isn't a job, it's volunteer work. They don't get paid to spend their time on the servers dealing with jackasses, it really wouldn't be fair to them if we try to enforce lengthy hours on top of their everyday regime. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be a time "requirement", but just try to keep in mind that the staff do what they do because their nice enough to devote some of their free time to helping out the community. Whatever you guys think is suitable will probably be fine, but don't think people don't want to do real life things too.
