Damn, i thought this would be some joke thread again, I'll definitely miss you bud. And i agree with above statements. Valve has made it really hard to get back into tf2

Yeah the server is still populated and we were thinking of a conversion to CS:GO and making a trading server there based on this map so it can be alive on another game :)

What if creating a thread in that section was restricted to those who are on the member (forum member group) + have 50 posts. Anyone who does not meet the qualifications may reply to staff submissions.
 
 
I have used many forum sites and they usually have that permission setting, unsure about xenforo though.

Appreciate the topic being brought up, I did talk to sticks in the summer and from what I gather he said he would be busy due to school I believe. I do want to work on Gmod but right now as CS:GO is getting much better due to how much work our divs and staff are putting in, I want to work on Tf2 next and see what we can do about the dead servers, and also focus on working on the Minecraft server as well. If Minecraft does not go up before December than I will most likely take over or find someone experienced who will.
 
I do want a Dark RP or TTT server but the biggest thing is finding someone who can and is willing do it. We aren't using too much resources on Gmod or ND2 so I think we're fine as it is currently and don't need to take it down.

Should be possible, would definitely be more helpful than anything. I'll talk to him tomorrow if he doesn't have time to check forums

Never going to happen, if collisions were enabled; people would be bumping into other players when surfing.
 
I do not believe there is a negotiable fix for this, but I could be wrong.

:mad::mad:Is there a way to keep collisions on AND enable projectile weapons at once(eg: huntsman , syringe gun, rocket launcher ) ? I'm annoyed that I cant combat medic or air shot. (For some reason demo launchers work) .

I believe the general consensus is that unless it is explicitly mentioned in the Hello/Goodbye thread [that the Player/Member is "leaving the clan/community"] they are otherwise just taking a break. Because, let's be honest; 80% of people who say they're leaving end up coming back time and time again to begin with
 
Needless to say, Higher-Ups should consider the fact that a Staff Position isn't a 'welcome back' basket for those who repeatedly leave and come back whenever it benefits them the most (not implying this is the case, but still ought to be considered) :coffee:

As much as I know you are an awesome guy, and I know you were a great staff even though hardly knew you when you were staff... and I hope you do not take this response to the application personally, but just concerns.

Memes and all are fine, but since this might be taken seriously I suppose I'd best be honest about it. You were definitely a fun guy years back and made pretty good staff, at least from what I've seen, but after watching more recently and also hearing some stuff here or there, I don't think this would work out anymore. You let loose on people a bit too much or often, don't seem to care all of that much whether or not you're here, and don't take much seriously (yes I know not everything needs to be taken seriously, but it feels like someone has to keep an eye on what you're doing while you're on.)
 
A more recent example of the letting loose bit was probably this:

Among other things that were either by voice or probably in text. This was to someone with a british accent, Vexx's friend namely. If this was a joke of some sort excuse me, but from an outside perspective it seems anything but. There's a lot of other examples that could be brought up by anyone that actually frequents the servers; no offense to the +1s here, but a lot of you either aren't on much to see or are just doing it for the memes, and while memes and jokes are fine, it's a bit of a problem if this is being taken seriously.

+1 I remember when we would party on clocktown for 12 hours a day for an entire summer in 2k13, then like a month after he got mod he dropped activity entirely. Then like 9 months later, after I was permed and unbanned and finally got mod, he came back. And since the tf2 higher ups (I think it was brian and nom) completely forgot to remove his powers, they just grandfathered him into mod and we were in the same promo demo. And eventually, after a fanfic where we do some bdsm shit, we both ended up as DM.
 
So basically we're on that Romeo and Juliet star crossed lovers shit.
