I think the key words here are "in my view," which indicates you are going to state your opinion. Instead of people saying "in my view," regarding rules, I'd like it to turn into "in the community's view..." I hope you know where I'm coming from.

I think the problem with the voice rule is similar to that of the rule against sexually explicit decals. Staff just has their own opinions on where the line should be drawn. You also said you're not a fan of "staff discretion," and I completely agree. Giving the staff the ability to be super chill or strict depending on their mood is not a good idea.

If you won't, I will. How could being clear hurt anyone? No, things did change. You said that the 'no immature voices' rule used to be targeted at young children. Nowhere did it say "you can't make impersonations on mic." You guys recently changed the rule to fit more modern needs. There isn't anything wrong with that, it's just that we're not very good about getting the word around that this or that rule changed, or you got a new rule at the pet store. I know we have a general updates thread, so can I suggest that we add that to the list of stuff being broadcasted at all times on the server? Ex: "Any changes to the MOTD will be posted in this thread [link], please check this thread to keep informed!"

Okay, I've seen a few threads on rules being vague, or not being specific enough. Can we just have the higher-ups finally go through the entire list of rules and think among themselves "do we need to elaborate on this?" You guys should also ask the community (members and non-members) for rules they would like to be more specific, as those are the rules they have to abide by and you have to enforce. This way we can actually have a set of rules that don't need to be revised for clarity every few months. It might be pushing it, but I'll compare this to the Supreme Court of the United States. There are two terms, loose construction, and strict construction. You guys are using loose construction by bending the rules to fit more modern means. (I only use bending because I couldn't think of a better word). However, when you make these changes you guys aren't very good at alerting people "hey we've kind of altered what this means, here's what it means now and why we changed it!" To be completely honest, I'm not sure what is allowed and what isn't anymore. Stuff that used to not fly back in, say, 2016 is welcomed with open arms. tldr, please be more specific and open about rules, please revise the motd if possible and make sure you don't have to alter them next month. Make your staff members, as well as the regulars aware of the change with a PSA or something. It's obvious that some are unhappy with the clarity of the rules.

@HydorHDIf I reply to your last message, will you not get high before posting xd Life isn't new, as you stated it's been around for two billion years. (pretty sure it's over three billion, actually.) Compared to the average human lifespan, it's pretty damn long. No, we humans came up with measurements of time, starting with that of the human race. If you've ever heard the term "dog-years" you would understand that humans live longer than dogs. In other words, dogs age much faster. Time has always existed but has been given meaning by the humans. It's true that we'll never know, so you'll just have to grab on to a theory, kind of like the bullpoop one I came up with above. We actually don't know if life is new, as it could be entirely possible for single, or even multi-celled organisms to exist that we just haven't discovered yet. We've actually discovered more of other planets than our own, due to ~70% of it being water which, with enough of it on top of you, would result into you being turned into a pancake. Kind of like in the cartoons. Thank you for providing something to take my mind off of the very loud screeching in my head.

pretty much no one uses it anymore, and no one has really said anything about it. I'm personally not aware of any actual changes from back when they were required. Saying that it's pretty easy to form an A/M rating it wouldn't hurt to use one.

Basketball is actually an arena in MGE if you didn't know. There are plenty of special arenas, this includes Endif (air shots), ammo mod, and some other one. Someone can actually find a list if they want, but I'm one, too lazy, and two very limited on internet usage right now. We have hats and you have knives, but we have those as well.
