Alright I enabled it but it will only work for donators. Basically you must have donated within the past 7 days or you will be unable to make an application. We need money so it would really help out! Good luck!

so for those of you who don't know I've had Photoshop CS6 since February of 2013 and Have been working my ass off to get better and better at it one of my good PS3 Buddies sent a message to a clan community owner on PS3 that I can make custom rank images and awards. This is what I got as of 17 mins ago from that community owner. Because its my first job I thought $5 was a good starting price but if they want more I will raise it to $10

just make different pieces, and put them on the interwebs as a showcase, if someone wants something specific of your style, they will ask you. then tell em to fork over the dough

It's not even about reducing ban times, it's about being less ban happy when new people come in. Instead of telling them to go read the rules and banning them instantly, tell them what they did wrong and swap them to T so they can learn. Might just be that they played another JB server with different rules and made a mistake because of what they thought was right. Just use your brain(not you corvo) and come to a sensible judgement instead of sticking so tightly to the rules and then we can have a bit of fun on JB.

Also, if we did happen to reduce it to maybe a week or whatever, people would still be asking for an unban, or another reduction which turns this into an endless cycle of pointless decisions. I suggest you just keep it the same. The scarce amount of players on the server isn't due to the rare permanent bans sanctioned to those who can't adhere to rules; people are just busy or have become uninterested, unbanning the idiots is the most retarded, ludicrous, nonsensical, moronic, imbecilic and simpleminded idea ever to be thought of.

Why the fuck would you reduce the ban? We need to be more strict on this, I know I regularly freekill Penguin, not maliciously but if you know the rules like Purple and have been around for a while, why the fuck should we be lenient with you? (Btw, I don't mean to derail the thread, just using this as an example).

Just a quick question and suggestion. I know we stopped applications for mod a long time ago, but one of the benefits of this was that donating was a question on there. Why did we stop this? I don't think "we have too many mods" is a good reason.. Add another dm to handle them if you have to. I know quite a few deserving people that would like to apply for mod, but since we dropped it they cannot. I think it may be beneficial to add the ability to apply back for two reasons: 1) We can reenact the donation question, effectively making it a requirement for mod. This will hopefully help.. even if its ever so little.. to keep the servers up. 2) Applying for mod gives people the ability to get somewhere in the clan. I feel like this drove a lot of people, including me, toremain here and stay active to achieve mod. This means keeping more people, attracting a few more... That usually translates to money. This isn't a solution for all of the problems, but I'll be damned if this ship goes down with me on it.

Like other have said, it's impossible to see everything. Sometimes we're AFK, other times we are watching a specific person.. You never know. Are there admins that abuse and fail to do their job? Hell yeah. Call those admins out, it's the only way to solve the issue. I try to pay attention the best that I can, but sometimes I miss something. If something is wrong message us on steam if you don't get an answer. I find it much easier to respond there.. Plus I see it if I'm tabbed out.

You do have to remember that admins aren't all-powerful beings, we're just normal people like everyone else, and we can't see everything at the same time. If a mod/admin didn't see the rulebreaking happen, and there isn't any other proof to show what happened, then we really can't do anything. We can't just slay people on a whim or on a hunch, we have to be 110% that the person we're slaying actually broke the rule that we're slaying them for. While I do think that staff should be in spec most of the time, sometimes we just wanna have a little fun and just relax, because that's really the entire point of playing.

I just hate how admins dont do their jobs , sometimes i have to be on admin chat telling them people are afk or someone is breaking the rule and they dont do anything about it cause they probaly are 'friends' or something or too lazy. They should really be on their game at all times.

Most of this can be reported, just take time and take screenshots. No problemo.

Now, I've been playing in xG since August 2011, didn't join til around may 2011, I've been here pretty much as long as/ longer than Serbian (our CoLeader). I have been here long enough to see how xG progressed, and none of it is good. Everyone in a division used to be able to work together as a division, as a group, now there are factions in xG, atleast in the CS:S Div anyways, im not going to post those factions here so it starts a flamewar/argument, but I know some people would agree with me on that. Admins and mods, used to have a ton more say on what is going on in xG, The whole DM rank should have never been made, no offense to any of them, but the DM rank being made just gives Division Leaders a reason to do less and be inactive (I know poncher doesn't have rcon etc. to do some things, but he is never on the servers/forums/ anything as far as I see). I said this before, the ONLY time mods/admins have a say in a new rule or even know its being discussed, is when someone ( other admins or mods, rarely DMs) makes a thread about it. NONE of the mods or admins are happy about that, and it has led to this thread being made. If I had a say in it (LOLOLOLOLOL) I'd say remove the DM rank all they are is a higher version of admin, If DMs are NEEDED give them and Mods/Admins some equal say on things. Theres no reason Division Leader can't manage the players if they are active anyway, another reason DMs aren't needed. Back to how xG is progressing, as far as CS:S goes, (I know TF2 is the growing division now, that's obvious) population charts and ranking charts (someone posted them on the forums once) show a great decrease from that of a year or more ago. We used to be The #1 or atleast top10 of all the CS:S Jailbreak, I don't even WANT to check what that is now, I would likely not want to see it. TL;DR - I don't see a point in have the DM rank, the Div Leaders could handle being active (unlike our current one, but I don't thing anyone else stepped up to div anyway) and watching over the players, and also editing MOTD. We mods and admins need more say (#GoOnStrike ) , xG divisions shouldn't have individual factions, divisions should be 1 happy group. Forest said it perfectly. Though, in regards to the late night jailbreak, im fine with you being more lenient on the rules. Let me make this clear though. IT IS NOT AN ABUSE/MASS FREEKILL DAY.

The thread is about reducing ban times to try to get more new people to stay, not about people who have been playing here for months who are well aware of rules. Pretty much no one actually spends time reading through the rules anyway when they first join and that's pretty evident. To get people to stay you have to be slightly more lenient than the regulars because no one wants to stay on a server where someone bans you the second you come in.

ZM is currently not working, the plugins are broken and it was duckii that ran it, and shes not here so unless someone fixes it, the server is probably going to be removed, sadly The most populated CSS Teamspeak room is Jailbreak, most people just sit there even if playing minigames etc.

a channel admin can override a channel mods decision.... also this is a private teamspeak community channel, the channel admin can blacklist anyone they want for any reason whatsoever, most dont unless they have a reason to cause it would make them look like dicks, but for bleed he had a reason to blacklist u and he did, this isnt something that u can bring to forums or have them change it, its like you kicking someone out of your house for pissing on the couch and they call the cops and have them force you to let the guy who just pissed on your couch back into your house. -sealed away in the last great time war
