1. MOTD should be buffed up. Add descriptions for more days, add some rules like the mature voice only stuffs so people can stop complaining about "Squeakers" and we can move on with our lives. 2. People read motd, learn it, understand it. If you don't understand something ASK. If you aren't clear on something ASK. It seems like every day I see people arguing over things that are on MOTD that they still do not seem to know. It really is not that hard to figure out but if it is for whatever reason be it wording, lack of clarity, or you're high when reading it just ASK someone. If you have to argue over it, then something isn't right. If you haven't read it, it is quite clear so just do it. A lot. Please. Or at least more. What else are you going to do when sitting in the dead chat constantly? 3. Disrespect needs to stop. Seriously. I'm all for calling each other autistic and hating on ponies but there's a fine line from joking and disrespect. (Okay maybe not a FINE line.) Regardless, people need to watch themselves. Today alone I was called idiot, stupid, etc. I saw spam in chat constantly calling warden faggot and people just do not seem to know how to deal with one another like people. I have infinite more respect for the child being warden, then any xG member spamming "omg pass squeaker" in chat. I have been more annoyed by disrespect in recent days than anything.. If you're really mad, having a bad day, or just plain grumpy stay off chat and mic. I've come in a few times completely seething while playing but I don't just take it out on people on the server. Hold your goddamn tongues you explicit fothermuckers. 4. Mods/Admins and Up - Abuse is never appreciated. Ever. You were given powers for a reason. You do not have the power to dictate when you do or do not want to enforce the rules. Enforce them fairly, equally, and reasonably. 5. Members, votekick/ban/mute/etc. isn't a "I'm mad that I got killed" command. REMEMBER that and REMIND non-members who are new and who frequent the server. It rarely ever happens, but I'm tired of seeing some votekicks rack up from people killing REDs (Typically not freekilling) as Blu when that's the point of Jailbreak. I myself had like half the necessary votekicks because I was doing what wardens do, kill off the reds. Blus want Reds dead. Deal with it. 6. This is really nothing more than my opinion and mostly generated from the past two weeks I've been frequenting the server. No one is human, I myself am possibly guilty of some of the issues I've addressed and you bet I am not nearly always right about the rules but really I think motd needs a large update that adds some much needed rules (LIke some map rules I did not know nor see on motd) and I am quite possibly overreacting but I am quite possibly not as well this is just what I THINK. Not how it actually might BE. 7. I AM the ONLY Dictator. Any other impostors are, in fact, impostors.

Somebody should explain this... theres never been proof of it. CSS is still populated as it has been for many years. Of course you lose people when you abandon a div.. it could still be 50 people if there was effort put into it. and @Eden most of the donations go to just keeping the servers running. Server bills arent cheap.

re-opened @ForestFire please revoke the M from your name, as you cannot be accepted as a moderator until the promo/demo list arrives with your name on it. This thread should remain open for further input until such a time as the list is generated and posted. @DrLee you are a filthy scrublord. consult someone with more experience before taking matters into your own and accepting something like a mod sub.

wot. This only applies in CS:S Jailbreak, shiz ain't a universal rule :coffee: But pertaining to the thread, there does seem to be a lack of evidence toward any 'abuse'. I strongly suggest getting ingame screenshot proof (a demo would be even better) to go along with something that may or may not result in someone getting demoted.

I think we really need to seriously talk about the div in it's current state, we need to start taking this seriously. I've played on cs:s when it had hub and now (vanilla). The only plugin that kind of works is the warden plugin which is obvious because it is needed. The other plugin is the bomb plugin, that was added just to make up for no hub bombs. Then again every other cs:s jb server has the warden and bomb plugin, my point is that there is nothing that makes xG stand out from other cs:s servers. Either we add other little mods that improve cs:s just a little or even add a beta hub for testing. We could start out small with just hats and trails, we already have trails on cs:s so from my knowledge (then again I don't know anything about it) hopefully it shouldn't be that hard. Then after we have that smoothly running we could add a few more things, like tracers and skin colors (we just really need black). I'm going to tag a few people that would give a valuable opinion. @Tsuchikure @Hidingmaster @Bleed @Jeevo(Justkidding) @Nomulous @Rhododendron @DrLee . No one's funding it. Yes, there are donations, but they aren't substantial enough to pay for both Servers and Hub. I'd honestly like to see a number (or at least an estimate) of how much it would cost to fund it @Rhododendron if that's even the problem. That includes the [possible] cost of paying for a coder. I firmly believe that if given a number to work with, Players/Members would be more inclined to provide donations rather than working with a "give money and things will happen eventually".

We did try it but there are many things wrong with that mod and the server itself. It's buggy, tons of bosses are OP, server didn't populate, etc. So we decided to go with good ol' Saxton Hale and all those problems were fixed.

everytime i played with him never had a problem , he did go on a aboose spree so i doubt you'll be recieving any powers soon but +1 for an unbanm you have been banned for a while now and you're a good player

I think what may be the best course of action is shutting down a few of the servers no one is ever on. I don't know if the servers are bundled together or if they are each a single cost, but I think we could probably do without BHop and Surf DM. I hardly ever see those servers with any players in them

I was just stalking the members of XG as per usual when I came across this Steam Community :: Group :: Xeno Gamers . Then I realized that the Tf2 server IPs are inaccurate and very outdated (maybe other games also that in don't play) . Maybe increased usage of the steam group could be used to promote forum and server activity. Or at least fixing the IPs

Like I said, since you claim these banned people to be your friends, you can easily get them to agree even though what they did was wrong. You could even get people who weren't there if their your friend. If you have a problem with our rules, why bother joining the server?

If I'm not mistaken, what we have defined as multiclanning is the following: A Member who is currently affiliated with another clan/community that owns a Server(s) of which XenoGamers also has. In other words, if they have a Server that we currently also have, than it becomes a conflict of interest and thus becomes a problem. In this particular case, it looks like they do have a Server(s) that we also have, so it is in fact a conflict of interest. With that said, being a part of a Steam Group has no influence on multiclanning that I am aware of. If I'm mistaken, someone correct me. :coffee:

Let's look at each ban one at a time (going clockwise from upper left): 1. Fine, I didn't follow the protocol of warn/silence/kick, sue me. But user was trolling along with OP. 2. User was constantly annoying on the mic and had continued to bother me even after I warned and muted him, and eventually kicked him. 3. That one, if you read the MOTD for Jailbreak, is an offense that gets a ban regardless if they meant to or not. 4. User would not get off the mic (not speaking English), warned numerous times when he was on, muted him every time he came on, to the point where I banned him. So congrats on trying to get me in trouble and (possibly get me) demoted kid, I applaud you for your attempts but you obvious have it out for me just because I didn't let you act like the immature child you are with your butt buddies.

You need real proof, the pictures you posted don't show anything except for ban reasons that could be perfectly valid given the right context.
