There was some dude who came on poketrade and just talked in a sub-par impersonation of the soldier's voice 24/7. Trust me, it's a useful rule to keep around.

I am officially back from Romania! Thank you @Johny3Tears for writing the original post for me! I have finally made a return after the long time in Romania. As stated in the first post I went to Romania to deal with Family Sickness. I have decided to come out and tell everyone that my Grandparents were diagnosed with Terminal Cancer. I have stayed with them for as long as I could and just a few days ago they had unfortunately passed away. Though this is a very unfortunate event both of my grandparents had told me not to fear, for they will always be there, inside of my heart. Never the less, though I have arrived back I hope that all of you can understand that I may not be as active as I used to be, and that it will take some time before I go back to really being a part of the community. I will still be online and playing for a couple of hours a day on XG servers, but it will be a little bit before I go back to my crazy self of being on those servers all day like I used too. Thank you for reading and understanding my issues and why I may not be as active.

We've had 1 and 3 before! Slender Fortress is fun, but people tend to play FF2/VSH more than Slender Fortress that I've seen over the time we had it. People change over time so maybe bringing it back wouldn't be a bad idea!
We currently DO have a Highlander server from back when we use to have a team. Its just locked since its only used for scrims/games! Feel free to try to put together a team and you'd be welcome to use it!

A lot of people are always looking for some kind of these servers, So there'd always be some kind of population. Usually, players trade scrap for time and kinda just, do the do. I've been on a few of these kind of servers and people never seem to cause a problem. But of course, we have !calladmin if anything does happen. We should have ad for !servers pop up more often on this server! If we're looking for a new population, I think a server like this wouldn't be too bad lol

I dont /THINK/ we've had this kind of server before. A lot of our players like rocket jumping and the challenge, So I think introducing this kind of server for at least a test run wouldn't be a bad idea!

I've never seen a game mode like this before! This sounds like a super fun creative GM that people can have fun on for hours! I would also suggest maybe setting up a test server for this!

People like to RP on TGH a lot, So I think a GM like this wouldn't hurt! 
 
xG needs some things that are new too us, honestly. People probably only know us for JB/TGH, so bringing in a GM never seen on our servers would be a great start! 

@Elcark What happened to the Objective server? Did you guys just scrap it or something cause I was kinda excited for it but then no one talked about it ever again. I'm curious on if we are ever going to do it on the empty server or not. 

Anyone remember that highlander event that never happened? Well we still have a server set up for it, which I think would be neat to change into something. Suggestions would be great, but here's a few ideas I had:
BHOP Skill Surf (no fighting-based surf, not to be confused with combat surf which is what we currently only have) Dodgeball MGE I would be happy to have any of these, but am definitely open to suggestions. Would like to make a poll in the future but for now this will just be a thread for suggestions.

So, over the last year or so I've been growing steadily bitter, which quite a few people have already pointed out to me. I've been starting to show my face a lot more on the servers and such after a few months of almost never playing. I've had a few conversations with people I was friends with for a while and was disappointed, to say the least when they called me things such as "a bloodsucking demon," or "an absolute dick." I can't disagree with these statements since my behavior both on and off the xG servers has essentially deteriorated from what it was back in 2016 when I started playing, but no one wants to be remembered by their friends as some savage.
Recently, I've been trying to clean up my act, but it's still kind of hard since a lot of people still look upon with obvious disdain. I'll use this thread as a general apology to the entire community while also apologizing to specific individuals.
So, to the entire community, I'm sorry. Over the last year and a half or so, I've constantly been poopposting, most recently the "I'm so sorry" joke that kind of led me to leave the xG discord for about a month or so (wasn't really keeping count).
I've caused quite a bit of trouble for @virr with my poop posting, so for that, I'm incredibly sorry.
@BonfireCentiped I know I had already apologized for going off on you especially hard in discord, but I thought I would apologize again. At the time I was incredibly stressed out for personal reasons and vented my frustrations out on you.
So I don't really know anyone else who I should apologize to specifically. So, if you feel like you actually deserve an apology or there is something you need to talk to me about, you can message me on discord, since I'd rather not have people add me on steam.

Server Ban Explanation and Evidence As of lately whenever I see Chiefkat on the TF2 Surf server he is always causing some sort of issue. He was asked multiple times today by several members to stop continuous mic spam, some of which I managed to capture here:

Chiefkat has a history of trolling on the server so I feel a day ban should be appropriate considering how much he has been warned.

People don't have the social cues they normally have in an irl conversation, so I agree, it's really fudgeing annoying to have some higher up butt into the middle of a civil conversation and yell 'EXCUSE ME PLEASE ONLY ONE ON THE MIC" just because one of you didn't realize the other wasn't done yet. Like I've seen this enough times and it's honestly like "okay, what do you think annoys people more here, the fact that two people were briefly talking at the same time, or someone grinding the entire discourse to a halt to holler at them not to do something neither of them were intending to do?" 
Equally enough times I've seen people just not fudgeing caring what's going on or who's talking before them and it just devolves into noise, so while the first situation is annoying, the rule is a necessary evil imo.

If this wasn't ever a rule, I would have gone completely deaf. I'm exaggerating here, and I'm sure you've already realized that.
It's incredibly annoying to have some dufus speak over you every time you try to speak. Without the rule, the annoyance of being spoken over will be multiplied until we've reached a clusterfudge on the mic.
I would also like to add that traders and staff can't get on the mic when you people won't let up for a split second, it's ridiculous. The staff members and traders have a much better reason to be on the mic than the ten others speaking on the mic in a mesh of ERP, slurs, and memes.
There is a difference between being on a server and going to a party. At a party, there are plenty of side-conversations going on in different sections of the room, whereas on a server everything is right there in your ears. Much easier to overlook the much quieter conversation from the other side of the room compared to someone whispering sweet nothings in your ear.
This is where common courtesy comes into play. When you hear another person speaking, you stop. If they also stop, you either start back up again or you say "go ahead fam." Latency has nothing to do with two or more people speaking right on top of each other for a solid ten seconds.
I can see why some people might dislike the rule, but it's a pretty simple concept to grasp. Sorry, yellow hat glasses : (

-1 while your attitude has improved significantly since you became active, you neglected advice on becoming what I'll call helpful. Youve gone from being toxic to just kind of spammy which isn't much better for showing your ready to be staff. I say give it another month or 2 to try and show us you're truly ready to make the best calls you can as staff
Also, I highly recommend becoming active on other xG servers to learn the rules and meet more of the community
