Oh yeah, also what about Flareon? His mod submission has been started about a month ago, I think it's time that we get to an actual conclusion.

As I've said before, considering the amount of +1 he's gotten, I think we COULD give him probationary moderator.

And as for Kypari, probably next promo/demo I'd be down to promote him. Still a tad bit too soon.

So, are we giving kypari mod or are we just gonna put it off for now?

I wouldn't let Demonic have another two weeks. She has had plenty of time to figure out a schedule that works best for her, and I'm pretty sure she wasn't that active before she even started college.

Just wondering, does anybody have a word from Jon on activity? I have not seen him at all in the past couple months.

He made a thread for his inactivity. He won't have a computer for a couple weeks because he was using his brothers, and his brother left for school. He should be able to have a computer here soon, but I told him if he just wanted to be demoted to just let me or one of you guys to know.

After discussion between staff, deadlines were set for the server release. This is a bad idea, and I apologize for not speaking up on this matter. We will not give any release date or ETA for anything minecraft related in the future. It sets unrealistic expectations on people that have other things to do and also that do not have a drive to work on minecraft 24/7. In the future we will only provide a release date when we know the server is tested and ready for people to actively play on it.

Deadlines are great, but don't make it a set day out of a month. Make it a set month out of the year (Ex: August 2016). It will cause you guys less stress, and still allow people to be hyped for what you're releasing.

Not having deadlines shows that you guys are too busy with real life stuff, too lazy to accomplish anything, or have too high expectations for things on the server.

The Release

Don't think of last night's "release" as a finished product. Think of it more as a test run. You had people on, you saw what was alright and what wasn't. Now you guys can fix the issues now that you have a better idea of what's wrong.

Everything was pretty cool when I was on the server last evening though. Hope to see the server finished soon.

Uh, no "Rocko's Modern Life"? C'mon guys. That was my shit.

Ambassador is good. Being close range just gives you a better chance to land a couple headshots. Unless you're trying to headshot a pyro or a heavy, then you're screwed.

Just learn to aim.

As for the upcoming promo/demo:

I think we should give Blank Admin, he's doing very well as mod.

He is active on teamspeak, knows the rules, handles a lot of calladmins and plays on pretty much all of our servers.

Unsure about Flareon and Vac, we should possibly promote them to probationary moderator.

 

It's probably too early, but I can also see kypari and tekage as mods again.

 

Demonic hasnt played on our servers in ages, so we should probably demote her to member.

I agree about Blank.

Vac I still don't know too much about.

With Flareon, I did some thinking. Going off of previous knowledge is sometimes fine, and sometimes old habits don't die off hard. I remember that Flareon never really took care of issues on the servers. Plus I'm pretty sure he has only been back for around two and a half weeks? I could be wrong on that, but I'd say to give it more time and more watching to see if he actually has changed.

I've seen Kypari on TGH quite a few times, even before he re-applied for membership. Tekage I haven't really seen at all.

And I agree. Demonic is busy with college, but demoting her is probably the best. Even though I haven't seen her on, it'll probably give her some relief knowing that she doesn't have a responsibility to hold while she studies.

I agree. Plus we shouldn't allow Pokemon/Knife pit for LR too.

The "No teamkilling" under the red rule-set should be clarified a little bit. "No team-killing, unless the day/game requires Reds' to team-kill each other. Examples: Cell wars, Arena, Hunger games."

I highly suggest looking at the !motd before you go back onto the servers.

You may not camp when there are 3 or less reds left or medic and armory. (Exception is armory during hide and seek)

This rule was in the rule set for Blu team. It should be in the rule set for Red team.

We should lower the allotted time of camping to 10 seconds.

For airblasting, I believe it should be allowed only if the Blu is hit by a red. Since most of the time Red team likes to cry "freehit" when someone does airblast them back.

Last thing that should be clarified is "Hunger Games". Since no one has an idea of how the game goes. "Hunger Games - Blu team runs to a set location, where Reds' are not allowed enter/come near. Friendly fire is turned on after Blu team have set their spot, traveled to that spot, and cell doors are opened (using !menu to open cells). The Reds' are allowed to kill each other till one Red remains. They may kill each other with weapons, however if a Red was to start attacking members of the Blu team, then they're classified as a rebel and are killed."

On a side note: I'm neutral on Vac and Flareon, since I have been inactive for the past three weeks. However, I'm coming back today!

That seems pretty accurate.

I'll look into Flareon a bit more. I haven't really seen him play that often either.

He can speak it well enough to understand and he can type it well enough as well, and SupremePatriot like never uses his mic. so I think it is a negligible issue.

As for knowing him, I would go on surf more because he is almost always on it.

I'll go on surf a bit more and give a better opinion after.

Having more people say witness would be better. If someone had better evidence, that would be great.

Also keep in mind he has been in trouble for stuff like this recently: Kiask The Sergal - Team Fortress 2

So, does anybody have objections to the notion or no? The OP was not really responded to and I really think he would do well.

The only thing I have against Vacindak is how good his English is. I know he can speak it decently, but is it really good enough for other people to understand? Also keep in mind I haven't talked to Vacindak that much. I'm going off of what I do know about him.
