Hey fellow Xenogamers, for a few months now I've been going around asking members of this community what they'd think of if we hosted a Pokémon Showdown tournament, and surprisingly the majority of people I've asked thought it'd be pretty cool and fun if we did host one so I have finally come to the decision to make a Pokémon Showdown Tournament! The tournament is free to enter and anyone can join, there will be prices for those that come 3rd, 2nd and 1st place. The prizes are yet to be decided but it’ll most likely either be Steam gift cards or pure keys from what division you're from, or maybe even something a little special for 1st place. Just be weary that there are only a limited number of slots available, currently the max player count I have decided on will be 14. The first 14 people to apply will take up these slots, anyone that has applied once this limit is reached has the choice to stay as a sub if a player falls absent on battle day or if they drop out of the league. People that have applied when the tournament is full will be instantly signed up to the next tournament once it’s open. I have created a Discord server for the tournament, it makes my life easier when it comes to organising it as well as posting announcements. All of the tournament rules as well as the tournament format are on the Discord. Yes but the Pyros can just run at you lol. Bosses are restricted to melee after all, so you're bound to run at their face anyway which they can just infinitely walk at you and spam airblast. Not to mention Pyro doesn't have a cap limit, while Sniper is limited to 3 and huntsman taunt locks are hard to pull off as they're slow and predictable . You can also escape huntsman taunt locks by doing any continuous taunt or by doing a taunt kill of your own if the Hale you're playing as has the required weapon (Knives, Huntsman, Fists etc.). You can build rage of getting damaged by the taunt lock which you can then use to kill the Sniper unless you're playing as a boss that doesn't have a lethal rage.

Not much I need to explain about this map besides the fact that it's small and getting knocked off the map instantly kills you as well as a hazard near the centre of the map that also instantly kills you as the boss. Frustrating to play on as the boss as everyone just focuses on blasting the boss either off the map or into the hazard (The payload from pl_frontier) to win the game causing rounds to end in seconds.

Sorry Tuna but I'm gonna have to stay neutral on this one, I haven't seen much from you besides playing on Surf and sitting in spawn for the majority of time. I don't play on Surf too often so I don't know for sure, but it would be great if you could be more active on our other servers. Don't get me wrong it's entirely fine to have a favourite server to sit on all day, but it would be nice to see you active on some of our other servers. I see good potential in you on becoming staff, but at the moment I think you get a little too feisty with some of the members in the clan or just to randoms in general if they do something that you don't approve of. Examples of this has occurred multiple times in the xG Discord, and I'm not going point out these individuals as you surely know who I'm talking about. Hopefully you'll be able to improve on these, good luck!

After typing for about 30 minutes the forums decide to delete all of my saved text when I went to go view page 1... Nice. I currently have a headache while typing all of this fudge out again, so if I suggest anything that's already been suggested then apologies. Fujiwara No Mokou I for one don't want this boss removed as I actually like the character from the Touhou series and I love her theme. The only issue that I know of with this boss is that her Phlogistinator is bugged and only works at point-blank range, if there's a way we can fix this issue than that'd be superb, if not then we may unfortunately have to remove her. There's no point in having a boss on the server that doesn't function correctly. Her rage is extremely underwhelming as it only gives you a Detonator with a couple of shots (Actually just a Flare Gun as you can't detonate the projectile...), and as Caleb said before, the boss is suppose to make you Ubered upon rage which if I remember I think it stated this in the bosses information menu whenever you go play as a boss at the beginning of a round. I'm all down for giving her a buff to her rage, but if we can't fix her Phlogistinator then there's no point, so for now we should be focusing on fixing the boss before buffing her. Headless Horseless Horsemann Jr.  I know that no ones plays him, but can we please not remove any of the classic bosses? They're there for a reason, it's like removing Saxton Hale from actual VSH. From what I remember the original bosses were: Saxton Hale Headless Horseless Horsemann Jr.  Christian Brutal Sniper. Vagineer Easter Bunny Demopan Ninja Spy Gentle Spy Seeman and Seelder (Not too sure) For gamemode sake, let's keep the classic bosses as they're, well... Classic. Bosses to be removed In my own opinion these are the bosses that I think should be removed, so please don't try to shank me if I suggest one of your favourite bosses! The bosses I've listed below are due to them being underplayed or boring. Gaara Handsome Jack Mario 64 Pacman Skeleton-Mann Darth Vader Sonic.exe Chuck Norris Goofy Triceratops Terminator Buzz Lightyear Radigan Conagher Cuddly Heavy (Actually worse than Garfield it's shocking) I could go on and talk about boss nerfs and buffs all day long, but I think it's best if I talked about that some other time as well as in the thread that I made back in April. If anyone here wants to suggest bosses that we could possibly add to the server (As well as music) then check out the thread shown below:

Not much at the moment, but I'm planning on getting the full manga set as well as more merch soon during the summer! I'm also planning on getting some merch from different series as well (Jojo, Overlord etc.), but the statues/figures that I'm after are pretty expensive, so I'm gonna build up on that collection a lot slower than my Ika Musume one.

My only problem with adding the dark bosses back is that they were all OP and really annoying to fight against, hence why they got removed in the first place. IMO if we ever re-add dark themed bosses again then we should only add one of them back and possibly give a nerf to the boss since everyone found it frustrating to fight against them besides Engineers. As for Dio, we won't be seeing him for a while until the creator provides the link again. And as for SCP... I don't think it would be a good idea to add him as he's one of if not the most boring bosses ever created, which has the speed of a snail, builds rage incredibly quickly which just teleports him inside of people, killing them.
