Jailbreak map outside preview (Opinions needed)

So, you might know. Some people are creating a jailbreak map. Collaboration effort.

 

I picked the outside area and some games. I need C&C's. (Comments and Criticisms)

Well, i like the fact that you guys finally changed he textures - even if these are just for testing purposes. Overall yes, need more lighting. I find maps that have a nice atmosphere, i.e. sunny and outside tent to be a lot more popular than all indoor maps. Also, while it prolly won't go with the theme of your map, grassy areas outside with many activities are very popular, just a thought.

We were thinking of going with the texture of the main cell block, that digital designed.

I was thinking about grassy areas. But the theme is still cyber. I'll make little grassy potted areas maybe. And this area is the only area that will be outside unfortunately. It is easier for a collab' project to be inside.

i keep my point: your textures arent cyber they are more horror based

Do something with the ceiling or don't render it...

 

Like a large ceiling window or something? All of the indoor places?

put a wall up there and make a walkway for ct's to be able to walk along to monitor the Ts

 

What part are you talking about..

The area on the top-right!

 

What he means is out a walk way to the top of that building, so that CTs can get up there to watch the Ts from.

 

Also, could we get a port to CS:GO for this when the project is finished?

Oh sounds good. I'll work on it. I forgot to add, most of the textures that the players wont see will be the "no-draw" texture. In which it cannot be seen (Not rendered) and the frame rate will raise.

Source SDK and GO SDK are two different programs. But I'm sure there is a way to transfer it. However it will look like crap compared to modern GO maps because of the resources available in GOSDK.

But I will, don't worry.

Yeah, didn't know that til after I posted, but IF it is possible to port it over and hopefully have it resemble the map, it would be much appreciated!
