Hey guys, thanks to anyone that was there tonight. If you missed it, we did start it later than originally set because of the amount of people on at 11pm. I'm posting this just to get a reaction and any suggestions from those that were able to join us. If you loved it, please tell us. I think it went over quite well for the most part, and it seemed that confusion was kept to a minimum. Thanks to Gkoo and the other admins that were on at the time. And that's exactly what it was, it was staff members having fun with powers. The majority of it was aimed at each other, but it also involved those without powers. As I stated before, it was not only enjoyable for those that had powers, but also for those that didn't. Everyone was having a good time, and everyone was having a laugh. It is a way for admins to use powers without being afraid of getting demoted, we all need a little time to have some fun and not worry about rules. Its both a fun night for the server as well as a time for staff members to enjoy each others company and have a little bit of reckless fun.

I'm so sorry! Following a guide on how to setup a plain TTT server! You guys did a lot. I'm referring to the people who spent hours watching over the server despite being bored or not just to make sure rules breakers are not running rampant. I have no reason to let it go. Now that's low. You have no idea on how to code a server none the less run it and fix everything Xenmas and Charrax fucked up. It has taken us two weeks just to fix every little detail about the TTT server to make it once again playable. You need to grow up.

We were working on some stuff for the TTT server and his brother said "LOL i'm gonna go mess with Aubri". Giddy got blamed because they sound identical. Look Giddy did nothing wrong, he was in Warrior's room just hearing what was going down, and I feel like its not right that he's getting blamed and bashed by all of Warrior's room.

Late night JB was interesting... I think it's a great idea honestly. However, certain limitations should be placed (IE: do not group free taze one person) and, I feel due to the nature of event, that orders from warden should not be strict at all. Fun time, however!

Since the plug-in we had for it broke the server(from what i heard) i thought we should just remove the rule and allow Ts to rebel on LR, if you think about it when theres 1 T with LR and like 7 CTs, its like likely for the T to die if he tried, so its more of a way to kill 1 ct they want to get revenge on, or get lucky and kill more, so what harm would it do? TL;DR - Allow Rebelling on LR again, it won't harm the server in any ways, and it's fun

Stop spreading rumors! This was a day without rules. If you have complaints, send them over to the proper authority. Be a man and do the right thing.

Staff was given full power to smite @all and/or mass freekill. But they had common sense to not do so. New players joined the server and enjoyed it rather than complaining. They actually loved the environment of people.

Honestly, since you pay for everything, you have the right to ban anyone you want for any reason but I will tell the community what happened since you have no regards on how you reflect this community as a leader. I got permed from Forums yesterday because I decided to criticize by using sarcasm on Silence's choice of making the forums look like it's an MLP fan group. Obviously other then the 5% of Bronies and 10% of furries in the clan, they didn't like the change either thus why the comments in the 2 thread discussions were the way that they were. He didn't like that and instantly insults by stating I (and others) have mental disabilities. Brian and JayBreeze being banned a few months back for making mental disability remarks to Silence due to his brother having Autism so it was kind of understood, but when I asked him that to my recent knowledge of insults directed towards silence couldn't be about any mental disabilities since they were taboo, why he was acting so immature (it's worded differently in the thread, I was using sarcasm again due to his reponse) to which he permed me with the reason "waste of life" or something like that. His last response on the forums to me is basically what my ban reason was on the forums. Anyways, Silence being the person that he is isn't new. So I go on TF2 Pokemon server today, considering I haven't played TF2 in a while, and the Pokemon server was always fun for me and my friends, I got in and saw Brian there. I used voice chat to talk to him a few times but I don't think he heard me. Then I saw silence on my team as well, to which I typed in admin chat "Is it a perm" . He replied "Yes you waste of shit" to which I didn't retaliate, just stated how it might have been better this way since I always felt the need to post as a "higher voice" cuz I always get mad at some of the idiot posts on xG. Either way, he doesn't reply to that. I ask him about Warrior's demotion regarding CS:S, about Hub's release date, and then when I saw him just spamming GodMode with Infinite weapon mode on the server instead of messaging me back like a civil person, I asked him if he could just respond to me and stop being immature for 10 seconds. He then perms me from all servers with the reason "Immature for 10 seconds my ass" I was still playing the damn game... so I go onto xG Teamspeak and tell him to fuck off, cuz he always bans me for no reason, to which he then perms me from xG Teamspeak with the reason "Playing outdated shit" ... what? You all know my history with xG, the reason why I don't rejoin and never felt the need to was solely cuz of Silence/Rhododendron. It's ridiculous how a 19 year old who payed for a community by himself basically for about 4 years can be such a twit and make himself and the entire community look bad singlehandedly. He is the reason why xG ever got targeted from other communities, why HG banned all of xG before I got us unbanned, and why other higher up leaders and dedicated members decided to leave. I just wish to be unbanned from TS and Servers, I don't care about forums, as no matter what I post as a positive way to help this community, it should be something an actual higher up should say instead of me, so they can learn to mention problems and deal with it themselves instead of an ex co-leader. How about we just perm all newcomers that go on CT and don't read the rules? After a few people get banned the fuck up, they'll probably learn their lesson and actually read the rules when they're presented to them. Great plan, right?

This is the admin handbook admins and mods should follow. It is completely reasonable, do not complain about the system. Punishments: For griefing, it will result in a permanent ban as it is an offensive move towards your teammates. Racism: Gag, if they continue it will be a kick, then a 10 minute ban. If they continue doing so, follow the times as said: 10, 360, 1440, permanent. Disrespect: Same regulations as racism, except after the kick, you will distribute a 6 hour ban (360 minutes). Assisting Enemy Team: You will be banned for six hours for helping partake in his/her death(Trapping them). Killing 2+ members will result in a permanent ban from the server. Mic spam: Under no circumstance will mic spam be allowed, this stretches from having a young immature voice to the more obvious things(playing multiple HLDJ clips) Or just simple spam. Follow this: mute, kick, ban for 6 hours (360 minutes). HLDJ: HLDJ clips are allowed, unless they are over five seconds. after five seconds it will be considered mic spam and will follow the following ban regulations: 10,1440, permanent. Sprays: Sprays containing immature images, such as pornagraphic images or clips, will result in a week ban. Under no circumstance will we allow nudity in sprays. Continuing in this will result in a permanent ban from the server you were on. Admin abuse: Basic hierarchy follows, so that means immunity follows as well. You may kick your own rank or follow the general rules listed above, if they are a higher rank, contact someone of equivalent rank or stickz. Do not abuse this feature as it will be taken from you if you continue to do so. REMEMBER: After you have banned them once, and they come back, that is there FIRST OFFENSE! If they continue to be a troll, elongate their banning period. BANNING PERIODS: One day: 1440 minutes One week: 10080 minutes Six hours: 360 minutes Everything above these times is a PERMANENT BAN! No month bans or any sort like that, if there is a month ban needed, i will handle it. Until that time follow the times above suitable for the punishments

I very much agree. If I were a new member who came across this server, and suddenly was greeted by one or more rounds where an admin smites @all, why in the hell would I ever come back? I would just expect admins to be abusing every time. You guys should really know as mods and admins that it's not enjoyable to some people if admins are smiting people. That's why we started doing it at such a late time, to avoid making the server look like a mess. We warned the server many, many, many times about what was going on. Staff members did a good job on letting everyone know what was going on. And admins were not smiting @all every round. I wish you all would have some trust in your staff members, I think they all held themselves up very well and kept it under control. If they cant handle lenient rules then you have to question whether they can handle it when there are strict rules. You can ask Gkoo, who was there the entire time, and he will affirm that everyone was responsible and mature about it. The point of late night jailbreak isn't to necessarily gain a whole bunch of new people, but to create a friendly environment. You gotta keep the people running the show happy if you want to keep everyone else happy. The rumors going around are skewed, people aren't all that sure about what ACTUALLY happened. 1) There was mass smiting, it happened 3 or 4 times. It was not excessive, nor did we receive any complaints. 2) There was a ton of slaying, again direct toward other staff members and a few regular members. It was for fun, nobody was crying over it. 3) Many of the people there will say that it was one of the best nights jb has had in a long time. 4) With the amount of times we said what was going on using @ and @@@, anybody there knew what was going on. We let them know that they could say something in admin chat if they thought something we were doing was inappropriate or excessive, we got 0 complaints. 5) Supposedly somebody was a little upset that they were part of the smiting, and again, its THEIR fault that they didn't say anything. We weren't doing it because we felt like abusing the hell out of powers, but rather because we thought it was fun. If somebody didn't like it they knew that they could tell us and we would stop. 6) Instead of accusing all of the staff members that were on of acting immature, abusing powers, and causing chaos, you need to understand the circumstance. Staff members were give FULL clearance to do whatever they wanted, if they wanted to smite @all every round then they could have without consequence. They could have banned people (btw nobody was banned), they could have kicked random people, but they didn't. The staff members that were part of Late Night Jailbreak acted in a very responsible and mature way. They handled a lack of rules or threat of demotion in a better way than I would have ever imagined. Every member there deserves recognition for being able to handle their powers in a responsible manner. Good job guys.

You actually can't taze a dog, and beating it with a baton would make it angrier, as would pepper spray. This video is sad, one of the saddest things I've seen. Other than this being the policeman's fault, some fault also lies with the owner. You guys have to look at this logically, if an UNFAMILIAR dog tried 2 times to jump and bite me, I feel I would also have no choice but to shoot it, the man getting arrested could have rolled his windows up to prevent the dog from jumping, the police didn't have to arrest him... TL;DR It's very sad that this happened. The fault of this incident lies in both the policeman and the dog owner.

As far as I could tell, it seemed like the people that weren't part of xG were also enjoying it. I would like to promote it a little better next time, a little bit of information before it starts to help clear up any confusion.

Overall, I think everything went better than expected. You have many staff members, with powers that are pretty much given free reign. I think everyone conducted themselves in a very good manner, and over time most of the issues were worked out. I will admit that the beginning was a little rough and there was a lot going on, but it was one of the best times I've had in a long time. I really don't think there are too many issues with it, we just need to make sure that it remains under control. Obviously mass smiting every round will not benefit the server in any way, but I believe that staff members can use enough common sense to know when to stop. I'm not sure exactly how you stumbled across late night jb tonight, but I would assume that you were unaware of it and saw a server in total chaos. It will take some getting used to, but I think when people are in the loop it is a very enjoyable time. We did our best to inform the server of what was going on. I honestly don't believe that we will have any issues with people, especially with staff members. Having Gkoo or Darkwolf on while hosting the night gives a little bit of control, and we are all open to complaints during the night. If people think it goes to far, they just need to let us know in chat. It becomes pretty obvious though when we need to calm down a little, and as evident tonight it had gone pretty well. (You weren't there for the majority of the time, but I can honestly say that it went pretty well).

It was fun for awhile, but as a person in power I may have a drastically different viewpoint than a normal player who doesnt have powahs. Id like to see it again next Sat +1 but a)make sure everone knows whats going on ahead of time [mah ears are still ringing from cristo] and b) make sure that it doesnt get outta hand.

It was a success. The server's size grew 2 times for this night within a course of 10 minutes. (Usually it would die around that time) Everyone seemed to have fun and there was so much laughter. Even new guys who joined the server had fun. I guess you could say they thought we were we were so fun that we will be seeing 3 more active people on Jailbreak. It lasted approximately 1 hour and a half (1 map and a half) and I hope to see it last longer in the future. I do not plan on making rules to this. I see it fit as a staff member of xG you should know how far a situation should go. I advise we set a time and post an event on the xg-rep group to inform others. Remember staff members, this is the time where I (and darkwolf for next time) will look on how well you handle the server. If you cannot keep it under control WHILE still having as much fun, then you should re-look at your status. I've noted down all of the staff tonight who did a great job on informing people what the day was and keeping the server in control. (If you didn't notice, it's still a controlled environment, just a little harder on the staff to judge.) +1

1. Bombs ~ So Ts can blow up 2. Hits ~ once per round a T can place a "hit" on another T, this enabled FF on that person so that the rest of the Ts can attempt to kill him and upon doing so receive a % of the credits that are charged for the Hit. 3. Charge people credits every time they type anything close to lenny face in chat ~ because it's stupid and annoying... 4. Reward credits for "feats of strength" things such as... multikills, knifing a number of people in a row without dieing, being MVP for the round... 5. Lots of trails! rainbow pawprint trails for the furfags like me :) 6. Ability to buy grenade/pistols/tasers 7. Ability to buy "special powers" ~ things like 5 seconds of invis/+speed/lowgrav, teleport 15 feet forward. (limited stuff/one time use and then you have to buy it again.) Perhaps for CTs things like 5 second beacon on all Ts to help find rebels.. 8. Games to earn credits via gambling ~ Blackjack/Slot machine/Poker (This allows dead people have something to do while they wait) 9. This one is prolly horrible but maybe it'll spark something from it... ability to buy a respawn? lol 10. Buy throwing knife(s) for the round (limited number, lose them when you die/round ends) 11. Furry hats! Different kinds of ears so you can be furry. Maybe tails too? :p That's all I got for right now :p Will continue to edit and add more things.
