dont close my damn thread again next time prius, i made the thread intentionally and cause it was something that had to be shared with other members of the community to pressure silence to change his attitude and not do something as completely stupid as what he did. as for you, you are new in this clan, you dont know as much about what goes on in this community, brian on the other hand has been in the clan almost as long as i have, hes been handling the tf2 division until he left the clan cause of silence, and during that time he has populated tf2 and it is now our most popular division with the most active members and servers. brian is complaining about silence for the same reason why people would complain about politicians, they want them to do something that the public wants to better everyone else, its not like a politician can tell the person to fuck off or shut up otherwise they get voted off in the next election, in this case with silence, people would leave the clan and discourage others from joining or supporting the clan.

Isn't that a little contradicting? There's a big difference from a bad clan/community, and a clan/community that has issues. Any clan will have issues tho... and the ones in xG aren't as bad as most others. I don't think the probelm is silence... I think the problem is that everyone thinks that silence isn't allowed to do anything fun or anything except work on HUB.... He plays with the forum theme for 15 minutes and gets flamed that he isn't working on hub instead... like a bunch of crack addicts waiting for a fix... He pays for and created this community yet people treat him like shit... sorry to break it to you but in the real world... the person that pays the bills has the "right" to do anything they want.

I have no direct comment to this thread, but I can say that sometimes - people like to have fun. Even if having fun is abusing both Sexually & Administrative. i honestly dont understand why you would do this, you came into warriors channel and said you were creating a script to ban everyone at once, some time later you ban me for 5 minutes, i rejoin and go to a different room that you arent in and you ban me again 3 seconds later, afterwards you then proceed to target anyone who was in warriors channel at the time and ban them all for 5 minutes. its as if you are trying to discourage people from joining teamspeak yet you say you want a populated teamspeak server, sigh..... I think its a list in the main community channel of the user. If you are on the list you can't join? Or you are silenced or something.

It's a community channel, if they want to keep you blacklisted they can. Personally I don't like blacklists. Most of the time if that channel is populated, you'll most likely have friends in there which can't be accessed. But, you shouldn't have done what you did to get blacklisted in the first place. I remember you being quite annoying while you were in one of warrior's channels once.

Right click the bot in question and mute them on TS3. Permanently mutes them until you unmute them otherwise. It's what I do!

Ok @@Matsi yes he pays the bills, yes technically he can do what he want, but that doesn't mean he should. Instead of working on something that will benefit the community (hub) he decides to work on something that pisses off members of the community. One of those people included serbian. It usually takes a lot to piss serb since he usually gives little to no fucks about what people do. I was also there when Brian tried to talk to silence about the problems in the community and for a little bit it was a normal conversation and he tried to talk but then he just became irritable. Brian tried to talk and Silence ignored him and seemed not to give a fuck when Brian was trying to help. Also those fucking screamers Silence does. I am probably gonna go deaf because of those damn things. He makes bots that follow people and is hotmicing a screamer. I have thrown headsets off because of the noise. I am getting tired of these childish antics from our leader who is the main representative of xG.

I guess since I lost my powers for a bit I panicked. And Matsi, yes I have the right to do it, but doesn't mean I should. It's not helping anyone. The comment was more directed at the "doing stuff other than working on Hub", but everyone likes to mess around a bit... I mean look what happened on the "late night jailbreak". People like to have fun with the stuff they spend hundreds of dollars and even more hundreds of hours creating... It's the same reason I like to see how many blocks of TNT and Nukes it takes set off in a giant ball of awesomeness to make my Tekkit Server lag... What you did was stupid and blemished the community, ddosing other communities, and people say you did it to xG members congrats your going to say this after you DDosed when you were in xG.

You should link to your ban for others to see. NOTE: What you did was very immature and blemishes this community, you're lucky it's even 2 weeks and not longer. If the bans are broken you probably need to wait regardless. Also, why say "GG everybody?" It's useless/irrelevant.

Not trying to create an argument, but your mass smite would still be invalid. If the warden declared a freeday that was determined to be an invalid order by staff on, you would just say in allchat/mic that since the warden gave an invalid order, that the remainder of the day would be an invalid freeday, due to the warden's mistake. If a warden was to give some other kind of order that was determined to be invalid by staff (ex: "standing is restricted, all T's please shift-walk follow me), you would just say that the warden tarped, and not smite @all or something like that. Even if the warden screwed up to the point of giving an invalid warday area, you wouldn't just smite @all, you would declare the day an invalid freeday. Regarding the ability to smite/slay @all on Late-Nite Jailbreak, the situations are much different as Hidingmaster said. As long as it's done with approval of other staff/not overdone/not interfering with the ability to play Jailbreak, I think it's fine, considering that this is supposed to be much more laid-off than a normal day of Jailbreak.

This was my problem considering what happened to me. I don't see why that should affect a night in which permission was given. You broke the rules when you knew there was going to be consequences. Different situations.

Why is there such a heated debate going on about this? The CS:S Division and it's Staff decided to have a fun night with the permission of the Co-Leader as well as the Division Manager(s). Whether or not it's making a "mockery" of anything is irrelevant. There clearly weren't any objections or complaints from the players/members who participated in the event (at least none that anyone is providing). If for some reason this managed to bring a whole slew of players to the server, who cares that it's unorthodox? Point is people are having fun, the server is getting populated, and no one seems to have any discrepancies. I'm going to be 100% honest in saying I'd be iffy about the abuse of powers, but I sincerely doubt our Staff is naive or ill-formed enough to target non-members or new players (with the exclusion of the occasional slay @all or smite @all). As far as I see it, I haven't seen a single Ban Request or Report Abuse sprout up in either section of the forums regarding the event. If it truly had gotten out of hand, at least one thread would have been made regarding it. Honestly guys, calm down. It was given the go-ahead and our Division Managers were there to monitor the occasion. What more do you want? Because this may or may not be a "touchy" subject to some, this will be my only post. I won't be replying to anyone unless it's outside of the forums. Going to try to keep this thread on topic and leave my opinion since everyone else is. Trade Servers Often considered to be the pinnacle of the xG, this server could use a few more things. Here I present just a few ideas on how this could be improved. 1. Add spawn protection This is needed dearly, as too often have I been spawn-camped by some Beggar's Bazooka soldier, or some spawn sniping from the top of the pokemon tower. This could be only 5 seconds, maybe to give a fighting change against those idiots. Which brings me to my next point. 2. Add a simple !rules The !motd is ugly. It's off-center if you're not playing at 1080p, the scroll wheel is awkward to use, and it causes lag on lower end computers, especially on ones like mine. With the simple one, it's right in game, requires virtually no load time, provides a basic understand, and also allows for further in-depth explanations, but it looks more organized. Maybe even add of of those [i agree] spots when a person enters a server. 3. Add gifts [Possible RTD Replacement] [TF2] Gift Mod [2.0] - New update! - [7/31/2015] - AlliedModders This plugin would be fun, as it rewards players for actually killing others, instead of mindlessly spamming rtd in chat. I think it's much more of a risk, and personally would be very fun to use. I've used it before, but had to remove do to creative differences. 4. Add donator functions Some simple donator functions would be a refreshing take on the servers, and generate some income, for reasonably decent prices. 5$ a month could give you some features, such as Powerplay, higher RTD/Gift chance, Godmode that does no damage to others. It could cost a mere 5 dollars, or 4 keys, a month. The keys could be sold cheaply to SourceOP, and help bring in more players as well. Saxton Hale / Freak Fortress Server XenoGamers used to have one of the greatest Freak Fortress / Saxton Hale servers. After a certain update, though, it continually crashed, and was rendered unusable. It was attempted to be brought back one time, but many were on vacation, or had school to attend, or simply lost interest. That, and much of the original content was missing. I have a feeling that right now, this summer, is now a better time than ever to start up a new Freak Fortress Server, but this time with greater and better bosses. Maybe add all the features, except being able to choose your hale, because that ruins the fun. That point asside, I for one want one. In fact, a few days ago, one was even attempted to be set up, but lack of knowledge in TF2 prevented it from becoming a reality. Being easy to populate, New members, and Community involvement are what Freak Fortress is. That, and it's addicting. Really, really addicting. Payload Why is payload sitting there, taking up space? Because, it's broken. The map voting hasn't been working in while. I bet if you could fix that, it would be populated non-stop. Maybe add a few kicks here in there, but attempt to keep it as vanilla as possible. Maybe add a !robot or Model Manager for donators, but the server is entirely made of Payload. It has a ton of custom maps, which bring in new ideas, and are always fun to play. It's almost sad to see it be such as waste. Maybe organize a few nights a week where you actually attempt to populate, not join for 15 minutes, get bored, then leave. That's called minimal effort. I'm talking about playing for a decent 3-4 hours, getting a huge part of community involvement, and watch the players roll in. Just some ideas.

I fucked up, and i asked @@Bleed if it is possible at all or if there was anything i could do to get unblacklisted in Nom's teamspeak community channel. This was days ago. I could ask him any simple question and he chooses to ignore me. I know i fucked up, i admit it. But this is just so frustrating, he was always cool with me before this, and its upsetting me to the point that im about to head off again. I dont see why i would stay somewhere im not wanted or welcomed.
