Closing this thread, it's legit the pot calling the kettle black from both sides. Everyone who has complained about the other person is either uninformed, or guilty of the exact same thing. You guys need to stop arguing, constructive criticism is completely okay though, but not everything has to be argumentative. The staff and TF2 players aren't going out of their way to hate on Tuna or his friend group, and Tuna's friend group are not going out of their way to cause chaos. Cliques will always be a thing in all aspects of life, especially a gaming community. You do not have to like someone to show them respect or to receive it. ~Closed

I disagree, unless he's DM+ and we specifically wanted him to be active on the different servers and figure out how to populate the dead servers, he shouldn't feel pressured to play on other servers if he doesn't want to do so. Of course if someone needs staff on a specific server to handle a dispute it's different, but just for him to be active in one server is fine. Doesn't matter if you're staff or not, I want you to have fun on our servers, whichever one they may be. Staff are volunteers, and I would never want anyone to feel pressured to spend hours of their time trying to play something they don't enjoy.

If a person freekills for a bounty, they either put a new bounty for the exact amount, or they get banned from CT indefinitely in my opinion.

Unless you have voice recordings, just a warning should suffice as Danny clarified it was only once.

I think people are overreacting to the issue imo by calling it an exploit. Higher-ups as well have allowed it in the past, and there's no written rule about it so if the tf2 higher ups can please reach a consensus on the issue that would be great. Either disable it or add a rule until it's fully disabled, or keep it and make it clear that it's not an exploit so people don't interpret it in their own way.

I don't see him on the servers so I will not comment on that, I will say based on my conversations with him on discord and his posts on the forums, I see him as someone that truly does care about our community. He is definitely a little over the top, but his mod application in my opinion should be based on his recent present and not his past. The higher-ups from TF2 as well do not need exact proof for their opinions, as their opinion is completely valid. I would just implore them to check him out in-game so they can see what he's like before making a final decision on him. It's a +1 from me.

@NitNat Any rules that aren't written should not be enforced unless someone would like to give me an example of one that is not written in the rules for whatever reason. I can also comment on the "immature voice" rule as well now that you brought it up again. We had that rule back in 2010 - 2011 and I remember rejecting it back then because one of our members had a very squeaky voice but was active, followed rules, and wanted to warden in Jailbreak. We stopped the immature voice since from what I remember unless they intentionally tried to be annoying or spammed voice chat. If any staff or member wants to message me a list of "implied rules" that they have been hearing, I'm happy to clear up any misconceptions that there might be about each and every single one of them. I'm happy to discuss with the TF2 staff + Virr to make sure we revise any rule that is confusing to staff as well.
