-1 previous experience aside, csgo jb just came back online, at this point in time activity is literally impossible to judge and continued activity is not guaranteed, it is my personal opinion that I don't want to accept any applications until the server has been up for a while and continuous activity has been seen. this may or may not be the same opinion as my partners in managing csgo, thus I am not closing this, rather putting that statement here and my -1 for that reason.

check it with problems for porting the map, likely a lot of the textures etc need updated as well as possibly a few triggers.

Alright so in this thread, let's discuss similarities between our varying games. I'll try to post up one topic like this every month and leave it up for some positive input. So to start it off, this is about similarities, specifically similar champions/heroes/gods and abilities/playstyles. for example: Caitlyn's ultimate is basically shared with Sniper from DotA, except a little nerfed in the range department. and she plays fairly similar to him as well. Nova and Evelynn's passive is shared with Riki (phantom assassin)'s ultimate which gives him permanent stealth until broken by attacking/revealing abilities except she appears when she gets too close to enemy champions unlike him who can just run circles around you as long as you have no stealth detection, but they both play similar roles in that they try to skirt around and find that pick off or gank kill to push an advantage in the metagame of turrets for wherever they land the kill. If you're interested in trying out one of the other games, but aren't sure on what you should play, post who/what you currently like playing in your game (dota league hots smite) and others might be able to find you somebody similar to try out.

That's all I'm going to say for now, I seem like a broken record constantly bringing up the "no evidence/proof" thing, but it's a fact. you don't just punish someone based on hearsay, you need cold hard evidence.

Keep it classy (don't shitpost other mobas or say one is harder than the other. each has its own differences and all games are equally difficult in their own ways) That's actually really the only rule other than the general rules, I just apparently have to remind people to not shit talk other peoples games.

As a note for future reference: Do not negatively state anything on any MOBA / AoS game within these discussions. if you want to shitpost about one of them, post it in general where I will remove it anyway for being a shitpost. This is a board that was previously league only and changed to be friendly with all others as a neutral ground of fun and discussion of games. not to say one game takes more skill than the other or is better than the other (which is actually proven to be impossible to prove) [Ex: "DotA takes more skill because you have to deny creeps and pull them to jungle to be able to kill jungle monsters; you also have to pick and choose what abilities you want to use since they all cost your whole mana bar. no summoner spells" yes dota is a more metagame intensive aka macro for you starcrafters. But then you look at league and see a vast majority of skills are 'skill shots' compared to DotA where a vast {i think the number is somewhere around the 85% range} majority of skills are 'point and click' and there is a lot more player on player action through leagues own way of denying {bullying in lane to push them out of xp range and freezing lane so they cant get gold or xp} and more pvp fighting going on where split second precise aimed skills allow for the edge instead of everyone mile away targeting with point and click to kill. this is known as a micro intensive or performance in moment style.]
