I am going to remain neutral here. While I have had problems with him before, I don't think he is to the point of losing member. I also want to stress something very important to everyone here:

Gaining member and having it removed are two separate things entirely. Once someone has member, it takes a lot to get it removed.
Not letting me quote, but to reply to something @Tekage said. Normally I would agree with you 100% about needing actual screenshots/demos. But in Goldfish's case, a significant portion of the CS community can attest to a lot of this behavior. There are even logs of the discord spat he had.

I do also want to emphasize, I am not defending his behavior. I think that he has a very flawed viewpoint on a variety of things. But, I think that we should at least allow him some time to improve. Ask any of the oldfags, and they can tell you there have been some utterly toxic asshats who have joined xG, but have improved themselves and their reputations during their stay.

To conclude, I just want anyone +1ing to really think hard about what removing his membership will actually accomplish.

Not to dogpile, but you lack the maturity and ability to be a moderator. The first is simply that you are a shit-disturber by your very nature. You like to cause issues, whether that be antagonizing people, baiting freekills, or just otherwise trying to cause problems. You latch on to something, to the point that when something does not go your way you will whine and complain about it incessantly. I am also pretty confident in saying that you will abuse any power that you would get. You argue with staff, and refute any evidence we provide as 'you are wrong and I am right'. This attitude makes you very unfit to be a moderator.

In short, no on all accounts. Honestly, when you are not being toxic you are not bad to have around and can be fun to laugh with/at. But you just are not mature enough to handle any sort of server power.

As opposed to everyone here (except tope), I'm going to give legitimate reasons for dropping a -1 rather than just saying "hehe fuck goldfish -1."
Even just from this application alone, it's clear that you can't take a staff position seriously. You're one of the least mature members I've ever encountered in all of my years active in this clan, which includes the likes of Snackbar and that one 14 year old tf2 girl that got permed (kittylicious I think?). You constantly harass people that you don't like (ScottNi, just for example), you tend to become very hostile and, while I hate using the word, toxic when you get upset. For fuck's sake, you still scream into your mic when something happens that you don't like. In addition, you like to pick arguments with not only other people, but other staff members, and you like to nit pick rules just to try to get other people in trouble. You have a tendency to hold grudges/not drop an argument that has already been resolved. Honestly, I'm still not convinced that you are knowledgeable on all the rules yet.

You have a lot of things to work on.

I think I should be a mod because I am on when a lot of mods/admin aren't, I also am a great babysitter, and finally, I am mature, fun to be around, and well liked. I know all the rules and am very active. If it was up to me it would be a hard +1. I'm all set up to be the perfect mod.

Okay, so besides the fact that this is some of the worst formatting I have ever seen, your story is false. I was watching you as you went into armory, and just sat there looking at where a T would come from.

You have been CT banned multiple times, and never seem to learn your lesson. Also, as far as telling you good luck, I meant it, since you have no case whatsoever.

I admire your determination to be here. A fresh start is always nice, but here's a few helpful tips, just so old mistakes aren't repeated:
    1) Don't Spam Forum Posts
This was instantly a red flag to us all and became very irritating very quickly. Think about what you post before you post it, think:
    - Is it necessary?
    - Is it a post that people would enjoy or could discuss about?
    - Am I better off just making a discord post about this?
Always think about those three questions before posting a thread. Which leads onto my next suggestion...
    2) Think Before You Say Something
Sometimes, what people say can really cause a negative impact. If someone says something negative towards you, contact a higherup and tell them that you don't like what they're doing. THEY WILL ACT ON IT.
If someone is being rude, it's always a better option to alert a higher member of staff.
If you insist on saying something, make sure you think about whether it will further cause a negative reaction or not. The main thing trolls want from you is a reaction. Always remember that.
    3) Doing Controversial Actions
Doing controversial actions may lead to huge backlash. One of which is when you left with a storm to become admin on a different server, then come back a week later and expect us all to open with welcome arms. Stuff like this is what will give you a bad name in the community and sometimes they can be extremely difficult to escape. But lest we forget that there have been people who have made it very far here despite being previously permenantly banned.
    TL;DR:
Welcome back, nice to see a fresh start, helpful advice is to think before you act because actions can result in serious backlash.

Do you notice any Staff on at the time during these sort of incidents? If not, @Topaz makes a good point: Record these instances of toxicity and submit a Ban Request in forums. It really is the only method of counteracting this sort of behaviour on our Servers (along with ensuring Staff are properly reminding Players not to exhibit toxic behaviour of this degree, which is another matter entirely).
Whatever the case, the solution definitely isn't to team up against them or to start a petition- especially if it is directed toward "squeakers". It's an online space, and unfortunately there is no avoiding the inevitability of young players screaming or raging into their mic.

Kn1ght, buddy. Fighting toxicity with toxicity is not the way.

Record it and give it to staff. If it is happening to a point of frustration then that is really the only option. If it is severe enough to warrant it, than go make a post in ban request.

Yikes. Look, as someone who played xG JB back in 2011 (when I was a wee squeaker myself), I can tell you that while the memes change, the squeakers stay the same. It is going to be a constant, and they are also a considerable size of the server population, so unless you prefer empty servers to some squeakers then you will need to get over it. Severe toxicity and harassing players is something punishable, but having a younger voice is not. Just have to tolerate it.

If a cell vent is broken at the beginning of the round, obviously a T knifed the vent so you are free to pursue. That being said, you need to see them actively breaking it in order to kill them if they are not already in the vent. Even if there is only one of them.

In agreement that you should be watching them. I assume you are talking about a map like moonjail where someone can get to the finish tele exit via the normal exit. In that case, if you did not see them and are skeptical, I would make them start over again. Then just make sure you are watching the exit this time.

A good rule of thumb for a lot of cases, if you or another guard did not see it happen, do not shoot. If you do, you are taking a gamble that you will be freekilling.
