Forest reacted to Chrono in Discord NSFW Channel Discussion
How about you both stop talking about how egossi hurt your feelings, and @Egossi stops hurting your feelings, and you both move on and let this thread be about what the title is.
IDK why people gotta turn "discussion" threads into my feelings got hurt threads and de-rail the discussion. If you don't like what someone is saying or it hurts your feelings, ignore it, or get over it. Everywhere you go something will hurt someones feelings, talk it out with the person in the proper place (not on a thread trying to discuss something else)
NSFW Channels as said previously will help limit the cancer that gets put into other channels, that being said I hope that our DM+ staff can stay on top of their game and actually be reading through the remaining channels making sure that nobody is posting Scout x Pyro porn in the TF2 channel because they are TF2 channels, Creeper x Creeper x Zombie x Skeleton x Cow gangbang shit in MC etc. and keep those non NSFW channels pretty clean. (within reason, obviously someone talking shit about an update or a feature they don't like with vivid vocabulary wouldn't be NSFW per say).
Removing NSFW is also an option that would be fine and just make it a global thing where it is "Safe" from porn/nudity etc. but still have to be on top of all the text channels making sure people don't put that shit in chat anyway.

Forest got a reaction from TBOHB in Discord NSFW Channel Discussion
May want to consider dropping down a line in our rules and adding an excerpt from the previously linked Discord guidelines should the NSFW channel not be removed; or at the very least outline the severity of breaking Discord's own guidelines. Additionally, probably highlight the fact that the 'NSFW' channel is exempt from rules A, B, and C with the exception of X, Y and Z or something along those lines.
Unrelated to that, I do agree that we keep things in line with our current structure of rules, but do keep in mind that our [game] Servers are Public and that it is explicitly stated what we do or do not allow ingame. With that in mind, provided that the channel is explicitly stating that it is a channel that is 'NSFW' (would also recommend throwing an "18+ only" in there somewhere, just for the principle of the matter) it is entirely up to the discretion of the user to voluntarily access it.
Simply put, the differences are that:
Discord
The user has to go out of their way to willingly view the content and upon accessing it, has acknowledged the fact that the content in the channel is 'NSFW' and that they are alright with viewing it.
Game Server
The user is not subjected to such content because it is publicly against the rules of the server; it is not tolerated in any shape or form and therefore the user can expect not to see any 'NSFW' content.
Notice that the main distinction is that the user is either willingly accessing that sort of content, or willingly accepts that it is not permitted and can therefore expect not to see it. The users are not expected to enter the 'NSFW' channel, nor will they ever have to. It doesn't make sense to compare the two as they share very little in common, other than the fact that both are endorsed by Xeno Gamers.
With that said, I'm fine with it as long as the following [previously mentioned in the thread] is considered:
1. Implementation of a role to allow users to access the channel
2. Routine monitoring to ensure that the content does not breach our own rules/terms as well as Discord's

Well you said you were gonna step down, so this didn't come as a surprise, and regardless of whether or not you care I can't help but point out you've left a very bad impression on I think most people here by making this thread the way you did.
Hope it was the right decision to make in this situation, and thank you for your services.

Forest got a reaction from Elcark in sigterm - Team Fortress 2
Disclosure: before saying what I have to say, just going to make a note that I did not view the demo attached so I will be basing this off of what Elcark said.
First things first, if it's true that the Player was banned for aimbotting and the demo doesn't provide clear or accurate support for the accusation, then the permanent ban should be rendered null.
As for the validity of the aforementioned 'exploit', @sigterm regardless of the fact that the "record;stop" function is an expected outcome introduced by Valve, utilizing it in a way that is outside of its intended use to create an unfair advantage for yourself is definitely exploiting/cheating and is thereby against our General Server rules; however, I do not believe that this constitutes a permanent ban (nor should the fact that the Player was accused of 'aimbotting' be used as any sort of leverage).
With that said, based on the fact that: 1) we do not necessarily issue bans based on exploits/cheating (written in writing) and 2) the Player was not warned [assumption] prior to this ban not to abuse the exploit/cheat, I would suggest that the Player be unbanned with this thread serving as their first [and final] warning (given the nature of the situation) to not abuse this exploit/cheat on our Servers again.
Now, I don't want to call anybody out, but for future reference; it should not take a few days for a verdict to be reached in regards to a Ban that was [possibly] wrongly dealt. It should also not take a few days for a Higher-Up to follow up on this thread. Last but not least, the Player posting the Ban Protest should not have to be the one to bump the thread for a verdict.

Forest got a reaction from ZevoAnonReal in Forum Updates - Suggestions
Title is self-explanatory. I'm using this thread to convey any suggestions or opinions on the new theme(s) for Xeno Gamers' rebooted forums.
This is not to be mistaken for the Bug Reports thread in which you report any bugs/issues you may come across during the usage of the forums. For any information regarding that, please keep it in the following thread: Forum Updates - REPORT GLITCHES HERE
This post only applies to the new Dark theme (V9).

[spoiler=Tan/Sand Colour Schemes]
User "Name Box"
Image: Gyazo - dd8c038d7ee6eb892762e5bb660f998e.png
This was the first thing I noticed on the new page; the large box surrounding the User's name and icon. Assuming that it isn't just a temporary colour, I would recommend a different colour altogether as it doesn't seem to blend well with the current colour scheme (black/cerulean(?)/gray).
Profile Post "Interact" Background
Image: Gyazo - 312b02d3d94c734d48e7d8f0685cf7ec.png
For the same reason mentioned above, I'd recommend a different colour here as well as it just doesn't seem like it fits well. As boring as it is, I personally think a transparent/opaque shade of Gray would better suit it.
[spoiler=Icon Colours]
Image: Gyazo - 1c67c78061e641b424d63503ffd5181f.png
I honestly don't dislike the Teal colour, it's far easier on the eyes than the Tan/Sand and it certainly changes up the colours in play, though again, I don't know if this particular colour blends well with the current colour scheme. I noticed that there are pink/salmon accents around, I don't know how well it would look but what if the background of the icons were that pink/salmon colour with the icons themselves either white/black? If not, you could even use the shade of Green on our Home Page (Gyazo - 723e4bd59c571befdb893573b7abde71.png) and that might actually compliment well.
[spoiler=Overall "Dark" Theme]
Image: Anywhere on the Forums under Dark Theme V9
I really like how modern and formal the whole thing looks, it really comes together nicely. My only grievance is that the Dark Theme is just.. Too Dark. I would suggest toning the shade of black back a bit more, reason being that (I've been on two different PCs and it's incredibly difficult to see) I noticed there are actually rectangular/square borders around certain things however the shades used are incredibly subtle making it nearly impossible to pick up on unless you have the brightness/contrast/whatever cranked up.
[spoiler=Shout Box User Names]
Image: Gyazo - d418d02fd0cacc792241f9c97d542f23.png
Again, I've been on a couple of PCs now so I've come to the general conclusion that the names (User Names) do in-fact appear fuzzy/blurry in the Shout Box. Would recommend a different Font [just for the User Names]. I've also noticed that this occurs when Bolding the default font when it is White, even in posts. Example of Bold
[spoiler=Code Coloured Sections Under New Posts]
Image: Gyazo - 68defd33632ae5e7ea93e05a6f7090b4.png
I really like the subtle code-colouring (the fine coloured [orange] bar adjacent to the thread) to distinguish between threads made in General as opposed to a thread made in a "[Division] Discussion" section. I'd recommend that each Division's Discussion section have its own colour-code to distinguish them from other Divisions. I think it would look really clean and would organize the New Posts section of the Forums without titles or anything.
[spoiler=Highlighted Text]
Image: General text functionality in posts
Is there any way to add a Highlighter functionality to the toolbar when making posts? I feel it would be a good addition for highlighting important content.
Please note that these are only suggestions/opinions on the overall Forums and that these do not have to be implemented in any shape or form.

Forest reacted to realBelloWaldi in neonref - Team Fortress 2
Let's not be too hard on him, he obviously seems apologetic and regrets what he has done.
However, I'm neither re-opening this thread nor unbanning him but it doesn't seem like he gets why he was banned in the first place.
@neonref it's not micspamming that got you banned, it's the fact that you left to dodge your mute. Try not to do it again and you'll be fine. Somehow no one has mentioned this yet.

Forest reacted to Salad in Skelly's Commission
After around 15+ hours of work spread across a month or two, it's finally complete. This was a pretty elaborate 1:1 piece commission for Skelly. It depicts requested Pyro and Engineer sets alongside the Skyforged skin for Cross of Brawlhalla. Feels good for this to finally be complete, it was a lot of shading work. Also this was my first piece to include more than one figure, so stepping it up from one to three was a bit of a leap, especially for a 1:1 size ratio. I tried to keep the shading similar between the three figures in this piece, but I have a habit of rapidly changing how I shade across a quick amount of time, and this took quite a while. Hope y'all like it.
