Just gonna close this before it DOES spiral into a worse of a shitstorm, but first I will say a few things.
 
This is just flat out untrue, we've taken everything that has been brought up to us by different people into account and acted according to what was given to us.
 
You are free to think whatever you want of whoever you want, but spreading what you think of them when you claim that is the issue in the first place just heightens the problem.  If you think the server has been going downhill then by all means give us feedback, but downright insulting people isn't and will never be the way to spread your message.
 
You say the staff are idiots, they dont know what they're doing, etc  and you HAVE given us feedback, but you still say we just don't care about what it is people tell us and "continue to make it worse".  If you can tell us where we are going wrong then by all means, but at this point it just feels like you are insulting us for the sake of insulting us.  I honestly had a lot of faith in you when you applied for xG and even once you got in, but since then I've noticed you've just been going around and stirring shit up with other members of the community, which at this point it just won't be tolerated. I wish you the best in whatever it is you decide to do, see you around.

I for one haven't firsthand experienced the trolling that is being brought up so I'm not going to go off of word to mouth.  While a bit of a controversial topic, MJP really isn't that bad of a guy, but he defends what HE believes in, even if everyone else disagrees with him, and quite frankly I don't see that as a bad thing nearly as much as I make it out to be a good thing..  If people think that change needs to be made but get silenced by perhaps not even the majority, but the louder minority, then we begin to have a problem.  Everyone is free to disagree with eachother, but we should also respect each others opinions.  
 
  I also don't think saying to go make a thread about the problems you experience or go make an abuse report is really what we need to do especially now,  since this is clearly becoming more of a problem.  We shouldn't be creating a brick wall in front of everyone who says they have problems with the servers and essentially saying deal with it or take it to the forums.. since that's definitely the feel I've been getting from a lot of what I've been hearing and seeing.  If anyone has problems with the servers, then we need to work with those people and figure it out so we can keep everyone happy, and making a thread about the problem will inevitably just get derailed and nothing will actually come out of it.

I'm voting to keep it on the sole purpose that it's endearing and nostalgic to randomly thriller and get rekt when you were supposed to get an easy taunt kill. we were all raised by this jank and you are disrespecting your past by trying to get rid of it.

I think the "word" faggot is highly demeaning and should be a bannable offense, we have people who lose their lives over this stuff and it is a serious thing. I really don't think i should have to explain why I think the word faggot "should" be banned. It is such a terrible word along with other words and frankly, I think we should ban all profanity cause it can make other people uncomfortable and it makes me uncomfortable and I think its wrong that anyone can offend other people and thats wrong. And I also think we should ban insults because they are usually just used to demean and make fun of other people and it is only used by internet trolls and thats wrong. So i think we should just make it so that everybody is forced to say they love everyone on the server at least once an hour to keep up the positivity and the happy fun time going because we need that kind of an environment in order to be able to remain on the server

Can we just keep the basis that if someone is harassing someone, we punish them? Can we also keep in mind that the people are behind a monitor acting all tough; Literally ignore them. Punish them if they're harassing someone/you. How hard is that?

xG can be a welcoming place without being a Hitler with slurs. Obviously racial slurs are no good, but come on.

Originally when i was out to look for discord staff i only wanted 3 people. Now, i ended up with 4 which is fine, but i think those 4 are good enough right now. That being said, i do think you would do a good job as staff, but maybe in the future if/when we need more staff for discord.

but this doesn't really make sense, because if tatost would make good staff, or even passable staff, there's no real harm in having him. It's not like we pay anyone here, might as well have him or any other capable person as an extra set of eyes. There's no real negative to "more staff" as a general concept, only negatives if the bar is lowered or if an individual makes for poor staff.
Yeah, that's the point of an application. This is akin to me saying "man these map requests threads seem like people are just throwing maps at a wall and seeing if people will add it to rotation lol."

In all seriousness, vouches do matter, however only to a certain degree. Community vouches wouldn't be a thing unless the higher-ups didn't take the member's concerns into consideration.

Weren't you going to "populate" jailbreak a month ago? How many times did you even log onto that server? It doesn't matter what it's called, the intent is the same; encourage server activity often enough it doesn't require an event as people start to join it on their own. Getting on a couple friends and just sitting there for awhile isn't what these are, it's calling on and getting a larger group together that attracts more people to filter in. This is what has allowed times like when two or three people start up freak fortress lead to it being active for several hours even after the original players have left and then being started back up again by entirely new people latter.
If you have any suggestions for changes to servers or issues that need to be fixed then you should actually pitch them if you expect anything to happen. 

Work is continuing and it's gonna be a hard no for converting back.

Wish there was an actual web designer to create a real forums for this community. Having to go through 4 different pages and sift though a bunch of posts isn't really practical, but what can you really do.
I'll make sure I have something prepared in terms of evidence in the future. I wasn't really using this post to call out any moment or person in particular rather as a general experience and my thoughts as of this moment. I enjoy this server still and I want it to get better, I think a lot of things could be changed for the better.

I feel like this version of the forums was released and replaced with the previous one way too early, and it seems like @Rhododendron is too busy with other things irl to complete it currently, so i think until this version is fully functional it would be nice to have all the stuff we had before like hub and everything (if its not all scrapped), and maybe keep this version available for those who prefer it.

Can we honestly just keep random melee crits?
There are times where it is nice to feel an instant kill based on RNG, and most people can't really deny that. The "good" players on the servers seem to be the ones who are for removing it (based off of responses from this thread).

If melee hit registration is awful then why remove the crits?
Why would we basically cripple melee weapons for the players based just on those who's opinion of fun is revolving around a "competitive" mindset? Seems sad to me in all honesty. Weapon spread is disabled and we want to do this now? It's going to probably hurt the server more than it is going to help it.
Those who get upset over being dominationed  can't feel the sweet luck of the draw before getting revenge. 
Again, removing random melee crits would make the servers depressing.

I think the worst thing about your scotsman is the fact it doesn't have the strange part crit kills 0/10
