  1. I think Vacindak should do it being as he is the person who recorded the demo but I'm cool with that.

I remember spectating Manlyduck too and his shots would be really off the hitboxes and this was the case with everyone, including Americans.

Alright, guess we'll set it up and see with Vac later on if he can.

And I always remembered his shots being close. Then again, it's been quite sometime since then. I could not remembering it right.

  2. @Vacindak Do you happen to have another clip that you could show, or do you just have that one?

If we are looking off of the one Vac gave us, it does look really fishy. Tragic Mike's ping in the video shows that he himself wasn't lagging. @Vacindak How much ping do you normally get on the surf server? If it's roughly sub 100ms. then you really shouldn't notice anything too much.

I wouldn't really say much unless Vac does have another video to show.

I was also given no warning nor had anyone even accused me of cheating.

Just a little FYI, staff won't give you a heads up if they're going to ban you for hacking.

You can't ban someone because you "think" they are hacking.

Vac got a demo; he saw the soldier hit the scout even though the scout wasn't even in the hit-markers. I think it's safe to say Vac is fine on this ban. Even if it's an accident.

I can guarantee that if I did this to you the result would be the same.

You want to give it a shot and see if it does? Back when ManlyDuck played on PokeTrade, I'd spectate him after he killed me and his shots were reasonable. They actually lined up with the hit-boxes, and he also had an upper 100ms. ping most of the time.

  3. Even if this is a meme or not, I'm going to +1 this.

I don't even know if I have to explain myself for this. Most of the regular xG members can literally go through all of the past debate threads to see Forest giving his two cents over a matter. Even if that matter doesn't really have an impact on him. Obviously the older ones of the community could give more insight to him, but looking at the words of wisdom is enough.

Also, his girlfriend is super ugly. Is a real screamer from what I've heard though.

  4. The fact that Moosty has kept up to date (mostly) with this application is great. He is keeping you guys informed of how he plans to be active/use his internet to help the servers. +1

Plus he is experienced, I don't see why he shouldn't get back onto the field.

  5. lolwut? We have an mmorpg division that is extremely unorganized.

You mean MOBA division. And it's not really even a division. It's just MOBA related place to post.

But speaking of MMORPG. I've been getting the feeling of playing Runescape again. Runescape clan when?

  6. Trying to balance something based on lowest levels of play isn't really that effective @Goblins . Imagine any sport or game balanced around kindergartners

While I agree with you, we're a trade server. We have no competitive mindset when it comes to rules. We're not balancing a game. We're trying to balance already unbalanced maps by debating spawncamping.

You need to realize that most people on the trade server, minus a few, are just players of average skill. Why change to something that we all know a skilled player could do? Sure, a skilled player could do it. But in our case, we would just have players of the team sit in spawn or just get denied easier than normal spawns.

Also going to throw a quote in from Moosty's previous post.

Playing the game doesn't help the camped team have less afks/people in spectate trying to join the other team/ or people leaving because of the camp.

Doesn't matter. It's not hard to break a spawncamp and I'm no professional either. In the case that it is impossible then that's where admins+ step in and stop it.

    I also didn't catch this.

I'm just going to say that most admins+ since I've been here never have claimed a spawncamp unbreakable. Either the camp is broken by rtd, the team that camped started leaving, or the camped team left. I honestly don't think you guys really will ever deem a camp as unbreakable. Especially with the mindset that: "If you play the game, you can break it. It's not that hard."

  7. If you know how to actually play the game breaking the spawn camp is pretty easy too.

This is the problem. People seem to think everyone on the servers are professionals who can outplay the other team. This isn't the case. Most people on the trade servers are at an average skill level.

I just see this rule as a sort of forgotten rule and it feels so wrong to warn people for. People break this rule again and again (different people) and it just becomes more of a hassle.

Sorry, but if you should be enforcing it as long as it's a rule. Not just you, but the other staff should be too. Even if it's a hassle, you're staff for TF2 xG servers. It's what you signed up for.

  8. I still dont get it, what makes tele spawns worse than regular spawns?

Is it not obvious? Teleporting out of spawn puts you at a disadvantage versus normal spawn doors opening. For example, say you're getting camped on a teleport spawn map. You have a uber ready for you to release your inner rage at the spawncampers. You leave the spawn first, you get gunned down. Your medic is either too late, ubers you barely on time, or is shot right up into the air away from you and mowed down after the uber is up.

Normal spawns there is more possibility to your actions.

  9. Hey maybe it's because nobody is interested in interacting with xG's social media? It is right above the shoutbox and clear as day. Maybe a bit small but that's beside the point. xG media has always been dead. Feeds won't change much when people can just interact with teh epik forums.

I also want to tack onto this. Most people who browse the forums on a regular basis already know about the posts the social media is trying to throw out. I already see it once on the forums, why should I see it again, but from a social media feed?

Plus adding feeds is just going to cause more clutter to the forums.

  10. Not trying to be rude but with that logic we might as well unban anyone who was banned prior to july 2016.

Seven months time a quite a bit of time for someone to potentially change out bad habits. If people prior to July 2016 came back to protest a ban, I can bet you that your vouches would be entirely different than the one here.

I also want to point out the fact that Suiper has been here for quite some time, and even though he's been permanently banned, he still wants back. Seven months time gone, and here he comes back.

He knew darn well he would be permed for massing but still he did it.

As I said in my post earlier, most people know that they'll receive a ban.

It's a bit of a jump, but there are people out there that get out of jail after murder. Sure they get put on heavy probation, but it's their chance to prove others that they can change. Like that, staff would just watch over him like

they'd watch over anyone else. To make sure that they're not doing dumb shit.

This is my last post to the thread, Dethman. If you feel like you really want to debate it further, then please message me directly. I'll gladly talk about it.

  11. you used to fudgepost on the forums

If you look over his thirty forum posts, you can clearly see that most of them were either on member applications (+1s), gamemode suggestions, and just general forum talk. Literally no shitposts. It's not hard to look over.

-1 frick no, you got yourself permed on purpose, stay permed.

Most people get permed on purpose. What kind of rational is your vouch?

I'm sorry, but I'm a bit irritated at you guys. Bello and Vexx were legit like the only two people on this ban protest to give somewhat good reasons as to -1 one Suiperblade. He was gone for a year, and came back regardless

of the shit he pulled way back when. Hell, a guy came to protest his ban for mass-freekill that happened three years ago. Three years is a lot, but one year is still quite a large sum of time for someone to change.

    Pull yourselves together honestly.

I also want to point out that @mrnutty12 and @BlankuChan haven't gave their two cents this ban protest. Even though you both viewed the thread.

@Suiperblade If the thread ends up failing, there is more than just the "Mona Pizza Challenge". There is a couple other ways to unban yourself (found in this thread: Want To Get Unbanned?).
