LAN_Megalodon reacted to Tatost in Goodbye For Now
Okay, I totally agree with you, @LAN_Megalodon. But to clarify for everyone else, the first post I made was to make sure no one else posted it, then everything blew up from there. I tried to word it carefully, but many people didn't read my posts well enough I guess, no offense. It is my fault that this blew up into almost Forest sized messages, please no one further on my retort and go back to saying goodbye to your friend.

While I agree with your statement in a general sense, I think it's an awful idea to open up the door to, "I'm leaving because ____ got admin." or, "I don't like ____" or, "_____ is toxic." Any grievances with anyone should be compiled into abuse reports so that the problem can actually be solved. I wasn't around, but from what I've picked up, there was period within this clan where quite a few people were stepping down or leaving because of admin positions, specific promotions, etc, and that doesn't seem like a great time.
My point merely is, claiming someone is toxic and having no, or only anecdotal evidence, doesn't do anything to improve the situation, and probably just heightens aggression. I realize however that this is probably not the only reason for Skeletal stepping down, and I wish him the best in whatever he does from here on out (in fact I hope he might come back some day).
Nobody likes bullshit drama, but people can have issues with each other and state them without it developing into that, Tatost. If tuna is part of the reason he stepped down, that's fine, he's at no fault for stating it. I think Tuna's a nice enough guy but I'm not jumping on Skeletal here simply because he might have issues with Tuna that I've never known about. Also, if you don't want a situation to develop into a "firefight" you probably shouldn't belittle anyone by implying that they're immature or unfit for staff simply because of an opinion.
tl;dr version:
1. The clan isn't Salem, and we can't hang someone off of rumor. (You know, due process, "innocent until proven guilty" and all.)
2. Tatost, why even bring this up here if you wanted to discuss it in private and "avoid a firefight"? You've inadvertently turned this into a shitstorm man.

LAN_Megalodon got a reaction from Ms.Spooks in Pokemon Trade Has Too Many Goldenrods
In case anyone's confused, I'll try to explain the differences, if someone wants to give the actual names for each one, feel free, I don't remember and don't have them all downloaded atm.
- We have the first Goldenrod with textures from the original GB/GBC original Gold/Silver/Crystal games, made to-scale with the characters from TF2. This is the one where projectiles and bullets will not pass through trees. (The Original.)
- We have the second Goldenrod, made by Cold Endeavor (I think), this version is slightly smaller than the original Goldenrod, and is notable for its skybox (accessible via noclip), as well as its "purple-ish" water. Within this map, projectiles and bullets will pass through trees.
- We have the third and final Goldenrod. This one is notable for its textures and models from the DS' Heart-Gold/Soul-Silver versions. (I also think it can only be "night" on the map, but I don't remember and can't check atm.) Within this map, projectiles and bullets will pass through trees. (This map is also the only one with the train rail elevated above the main road near read spawn.) Essentially this map just looks better.

LAN_Megalodon got a reaction from Ms.Spooks in Uber Upgrades Updates, Suggestions, Bug Fixes
May I suggest capping the max level/money/exp to be much lower? It's pretty fun to have some of these insane upgrades, but the fact that you can have basically infinite money and exp means you never need to make any real balancing decisions, as you can eventually totally max out everything anyway. Furthermore having near infinite money/exp generated is what leads to people eventually becoming almost impossible to kill. I think money should be capped to an amount that allows you to max out two stats at most to be honest, that way you might actually have to choose between offensive and defensive capabilities.
Also, as much as I hate to say it, disabling caps is probably for the better when the exp/money system relies solely on killing people, as capping just leads to a period of free kills, ergo free money, and then a snowball effect, making it easier to cap next round.

LAN_Megalodon got a reaction from Hype in Remove 3d Land
Do we still have the old version, where red team doesn't spawn in the sewers? Because I really like 3d land, and I like the aesthetic of the map, but red spawn is way too far away. If we could implement the version where that team just spawns at the flag, most problems would be solved.
Also, you can avoid being blocked by someone spamming the wheel elevator by walking along the edge of the building. It's not immediately visible, so I can understand people not knowing about it.
