Yeah free shooting isn't allowed (you can intentionally shoot someone because you wanted too), but shooting someone who is delaying is fine. I give a lot of warning shots, because I hate to kill the poor defenseless T's. Free shooting: not allowed, ever. Most of the time it is a slayable offense, but it depends on the severity. I don't really know what the point of this topic was... It's common sense people.

You should not be posting on this god-forsaken thread unless you're going to answer the question he presented. This thread was not made for the purpose of arguing over in-game semantics. Get back on topic, because this thread is spiraling into oblivion pretty quickly. Now back to the issue hand (@@John huehuehuehuehue). If a CT comes up to you, and you are a T following orders perfectly fine, and proceeds to freeshoot you, it should be a slay-able offense. If someone is going to be that much of an asshat and just shoot you for absolutely no reason because he has the attention span of a 5-year old and gets bored when there isn't constant gunfire and action going on in-game, he clearly should be slayed for not doing his job as a CT. Just because something isn't necessarily in the motd, doesn't mean it's not a rule. For example, freekilling is defined not a single time in the motd at any point, so does that mean that freekilling now mystically isn't a rule and people can freekill? The answer to that is: FUCK NO. Staff isn't just supposed to blindly follow the motd like a bunch of lemmings, but we also have to interpret and determine what the motd contains, and what should be deemed right or wrong based on the motd. Just use some common sense people.

Ok so to sum this up, you were delaying. Ct thought you were, shot you once. You slayed him. This is the end of my argument. You are so set in your mind that you weren't delaying but you were. Edit: FREESHOOTING ISN'T OK. I am saying that the reason the CT shot you was perfectly valid. If a CT shoots you to 4hp or a ridiculous amount on purpose, slay his ass. And of course freeshooting multiple people is slayable. Freeshooting isn't even defined in the MOTD but I guess it'll need to be now. Accidental freeshooting happens.

Hi guys, it's been a while since I posted on here. I'm just writing to let you know that I made and released a girl player model for CS:GO. I worked on this to learn how models work for CS:GO and whether or not there is an easy way to port CS:S models over. Unfortunately, there is not an easy way to do it, the model MUST be re-rigged to the new CS:GO skeleton, vertex by vertex. Also, proportions and hitboxes in CS:GO are different so I had to do those too. It took me like 15 hours to do this model. Anyway, here's what I got: She works very well, her hands properly hold weapons, and her hitboxes are accurate. Not every single little detail needs to be put into the MoTD Rules, a lot of the rules we abide by are implied and have been passed down generation by generation by the Wise Ones. Free shooting being one of them. If a CT is intentionally and blatantly free shooting any Terrorist for no reason at all, then yes, I would say it warrants a slay (something like this isn't needed in the MoTD as it is implied). Unless, of course, you're like me, and you enjoy the pain of being free shot by certain people :woot:

@@PiNoYPsYcHo No rule says freeshooting is slayable in all fairness. I haven't read the ridiculously long comments cuz it's just turning into unwarranted insults. The end of the story should be that no rule says you can't freeshoot. Shouldnt we stick strictly to the MOTD and perhaps add a bit saying "warning shots are A-OK" to stop ALLLLL this petty arguing?

Each situation has a different approach. As a staff member you are suppose to know how to handle a situation. If you notice the free shooting is aggravating people then do something about it. If it isn't then don't be a lollerskater. All I'm saying is that each and every rule shouldn't be asked upon. You become the bigger man and make your own decision because we weren't there.

Freeshooting is NEVER ALOWED! We all know our motd here, if the PERSON was intentionally delaying and got shot he will get shot on sight. If you did get free shot for no REASON then thats a reason he can get slayed.

John, your idea has so many different things that it is way too excessive. Nobody is gonna go look at someones past ban history, then go back to the game and ban them accordingly. I won't do it, and if that becomes the new way don't be expecting me to follow it. And btw, a mass freekill is 3 or more people as many others have said. In my opinion, it should be as follows: Mass freekill: 2 week or a month CT ban (im not sure which one...) Protest: Only allowed to protest if it is in regards to an invalid ban, but other than that they must wait it out if they did it. Perming someone should only be reserved for DDOS threats and hacking, with no ability to protest. WE NEED TO GET RID OF THE PERM BANS FOR FREEKILLING. Its useless and we lose a lot of good members to this stupid rule (minecrack, etc). Change the punishment of freekilling, but keep it simple.

Freeshooting multiple people is of course slayable. How many people freeshoot on a daily basis, I don't see you going slay happy when they get freeshot.

Freeshooting isn't mentioned in the MOTD. I was speccing the CT who shot you, the reason he shot you was because he thought you were delaying. That's how it looked to me. Either way, he shot you a GRAND TOTAL OF ONE TIME. He didn't walk up to you with a gun and just SHOOT YOU. He shot you for what he thought was a valid reason. Freeshooting more than 2 t's should count as a valid slay obviously. The CT who shot you doesn't generally break rules, I believe that you did freeslay.

I sense that a lot of weird shit will go down in the JB server once that becomes a new T model......

When was Permanent 3 freekills? WHEN? I see you guys perm people too much. I remember permanent ct ban was that he freekilled about 5-6 guys on purpose. Not by accident. And ONLY if he leaves to try to not get banned then it is a server ban. Back in my days of being a regular member I would have been permanently banned about 2 times for the way you guys are banned people. lol.

To me personally, it really came down to the seriousness of the crime, whether mass freekilling or hacking. Mass freekilling I see as a minuscule problem. It interrupts the game for a total of five minutes, causes a small uproar, but mostly harmless. Only resulting in a minor disruptment, one can understand why we're all so eager to unban those people. They don't exactly do anything to the physical copy of the game itself. Plus, few members would remain, as a vast majority of the members have mass freekilled as a joke, a twist, mainly for humor. This doesn't really deserve a permanent ban; rather, it deserves a month ban and a stern attempt to ensure they serve out full sentence. Permanently banning a person from a server for killing an entire team then leaving doesn't exactly ensure they won't doit again. You should merely permanently CT ban them with no appeals, or put them on parole, such as the U.S. Court Systems do. The admins and mods you hold here aren't dumb; they can remember basic names and track thier actions. Hacking/DDoSing on the flip-side, deserve permanent bans, as they disrupt the game too greatly. Taking down an entire server is not on the same level as killing an entire team, then leaving. Sure, you might be a douche-bag, but you won't be remembered to the extent as a hacker would, or even a DDoS. These and these only are deserving of permanent bans, at least to the extent of my experience with them. Hacking physically modifies the game, giving players unfair advantages, such as instant head shots at the click of a keyboard. Or, DDoS which essentially is used to shut down a server. Granted, if they do mass freekill then leave even after a chance of redemption, that's the exception. Otherwise, I firmly believe that mass freekilling isn't grounds for a permanent game ban, rather grounds for a month ban, or CT ban. Well, you might as well then let silence determine all the bans, now that the community cannot have a say without bias. People who contribute greatly should be given a little wiggle room, after all, the nature of humanity states mistakes happen.

Nothing is permanent, trying to make something last forever without an outrageously valid reason (ddos, hacking, real life situations, etc.) is something nearly impossible to do. If xG actually kept people "perm'd" then the server would lose some of its most colorful participants. There has to be a balance between good and bad, if you only have players who follow and abide by the rules constantly there would be nothing exciting going on just the same thing every single round.

Not sure it would work on the server... :/ I mean look at our player base... they are too young.

How many times do you see what is considered disrespect a day? I almost never see it. Well I do see it and its usually the badmins that threaten lives Enforcer threatening someones lives xG staff making threats more disrespect I mean not only is this serious, but it dissuades people from coming to the server to have a fun safe time without being disrespected.
