Rules are rules no matter why you break them. Even if you think you are helping, if you break rules, you should expect the punishment they deem. People should know what a mass freekill looks like. it's obvious. Hacking is semi-obvious too, and if not 100% there are others very well known to what hacks look like and/or youtube videos of hacks. Please do not break a rule (especially hacking) to "teach others what it looks like." Thank you @metalslug53, @Bach and @ChickenPanda for the clarification. While I doubt that a situation like this will happen again in the foreseeable future, please let a Community Leader or Silence/Nomulous know before doing something like this. Without the context provided, what Bach did looked (and still kinda does imo) very sketchy and certainly appeared to be deserving of a permanent ban. I understand that this was for educational purposes, but without any context it really does look like Bach was using an alt account to aimbot for abusive/exploitive purposes. Once again, if the need for something like this arises again, use it only as a last resort (e.g. you cannot find any videos/demos of whatever you're looking for) and only after you have notified a Community Leader and/or Silence/Nomulous, and they have approved its use. Also, I have no idea who banned Bach, it certainly wasn't me. Basically, don't do this again.

Some people keep saying "Why not go to another server", why? So he ends up representing xG as a hacker or causing some fight with another clan? -1 to this since he didn't use it in a harmful way, and it was meant as educational. Not everybody knows what a certain hack looks like.

With all of the shit that has been going on, I feel as if this clan has become worse since i joined. I don't know if i can really take this anymore. I am leaving the clan, i will not come back this time. Yes this means my Division Leader status is gone and stepping down in tf2. I will miss most of you, I don't really know most of the new members since September. Adios guys and i hope you have a good life and time in the clan. Alright, its clearly just an issue of hindsight here. I can easily see how it was deemed an okay idea when it happened, there were staff members on, a non vital account used, and I would assume there wasn't anyone non xG on at the time. There was no harm no foul, just a bunch of people trying to raise a stink about something that was meant to help. In hindsight, yes, you should let someone higher (CL or L) know about actively hacking on the servers whether it be for fun (don't do it for fun...) or educational purposes. If ya'll have reservations about contacting us, please let us know why; we want to help. We are here to help things go smoothly and give advice. Most of us are on multiple times per day (forums) or for a good majority of the time on Teamspeak. If you even have the slightest question about doing something/what someone did/etc, ask. Should bach be banned? ABSOLUTELY NOT. There's no reason to. The rules are there to prevent people from being victims, in this case it would be someone having an unfair advantage and ruining a round/game. Please use some common sense regarding rules. They aren't absolute and definite (albeit most of the time, yes they are). Good lord people.

The DM and several staff members allowed it for educational purposes. The underlined is just making things unnecessarily difficult. I'll just quote this to help out: Be a person and not a rulebot, think about it for a minute before you decide he should be permanently banned for something like this. Would it benefit the servers or not?(Because it seems to have benefitted the server so far) Saying this could be another "escape" for hacking in the future is a bad excuse. This is the first time it's happened in the history of xG(?), what are the chances of it happening ever again?

Honestly when we did have this, we added a couple different tracks and I liked it. Probably the funnest thing was how you could boost into someone and knock them across the track. and kbras, even though everyone has the same speed you can still race effectively by cutting corners.

I feel like this relates to another member that we banned, wink wink. Bach knows the rules and this isn't the first time that he has disregarded them and started trolling. I agree; sorry Bach. Nevermind, read my post below.

Hey, not a lot of you know me. I've been in this clan for around three or four years now, but I play every once in a while. xG is dying out. There's nothing to hide about this. The CS:S division is gone, and that's where I started. Members in the TF2 division (at least that I played with the other day) have noticed this too. The state of the clan members, I don't have to say. There's a lot of contempt. Many people aren't happy with the people in this clan, and I understand that, so I'm leaving. I had a great time playing on the JB server in CS:S, primarily. It was the best of all of xG's servers. See you around, guys.

Recently, an issue has come up about the /gimme command for donators. One particular donator has been milking the command dry in an attempts to gain an unfair gameplay advantage (E.G. using rocket launchers and miniguns as a scout). Kbraszz, the division leader, brushed the matter off, saying that as long as Valve Weapons are not used, it should be allowed. This gives donators a sharp edge over other players, and encourages the "pay to win" principle. For this, I believe that the command should be restricted or removed. @kbraszzz @Nomulous @Rhododendron
