You have a few good points, but a few more dumb ones, and here's why.
 

Yeah it actually is, Nigga is slang for Nigger, which is an offensive term which has been used to insult blacks every since America's slave days.
There's a lot of weight carried in the word. Black friends who use it as a term of endearment do so because they have just as much love placed in their friends.
There's a lot more to this, and I suggest you be careful of what you say before you know exactly what your saying entails.
I find it disturbing that you say "Nigga is NOT an offensive slur" as an absolute statement.
 

So "literally no one" is going to get offended by people insulting each other with racial slurs? Do you realize how contradictory you're being?!
 
A breech of free speech because you can't use racial slurs while on xG servers? That's an exaggeration. No one cares if you call your friends Nigga, just keep it between you and your friends and don't take it to our public servers. Furthermore, unless YOU were using the term in an endearing way (which you weren't) on the servers, then your point is moot, as you had to be using it as a nickname for someone, or in an offensive way.
 
Again, saying people who intend to create hate-seech simply use "Nigger" as opposed to "Nigga" is a moot point, because "Nigga" is short for "Nigger"!
 

 
Eh, you bring up a good point here. But we can either promote and allow people to call each other whatever they want, or discourage the use of these words. We either give "words like this" no meaning due to overuse, and new curse words are created in their place, or we encourage players to respect each other. I think I'd chose the latter for the future of xG.

I've never heard someone make fun of trans people on xG. Maybe I've just not been online at the right time, but if it's disrespectful to the extreme you describe, you could've used !calladmin, you know.
Apparently you didn't know, but child-porn sprays of any kind were recently cracked down upon, hard.
xG isn't perfect, but at least we're constantly improving.
 

 
Oh I agree rules should be made more consistent, which is why I spent two days writing a thread suggesting mainly revisions to make all of our rule lists more consistent. Again, we're constantly improving.
Like I said earlier, it's a complex issue and while it's very debatable, but I think nothing good can come out of allowing people to demean and disrespect each other freely.
 
I've seen some extremely nasty shit on the internet, people who talk like absolute assholes and will do anything to ruin your day and put you down. I think we've all seen that. But are we going to do something about it? At least xG is, even if we're a little inconsistent at times.
 
Oh, and finally, I appreciate you taking this the the forums, even if you're upset as you wrote it. Because with your help, we can continue our constant improvement. ;)

Nigga is NOT an offensive slur, it's used by black people all the time as a term of endearment. Literally
NO ONE is going to get offended by people saying it, so why punish people for it????? I find this to be
a breach of free speech. When people are intending to create hate-speech for people of color they just
say Nigger, plain and simple. It's just wrong and unfair to ban words like this because it just gives them
more notoriety for absolutely no reason. You can do a simple fucking google search and learn that Nigga
is used in a positive way unlike Nigger. I understand that the word has evil roots but that's really no excuse.

on xG for being a "girl gamer xdddd make me a sammich lmaooo xdd" but do you see me cry about it to admins?

xG claims to be a "safe space" but it really is not. There's talk of traps all the time which is considered a slur by some
transgender people, things like lolis are encouraged by titles like "Loli" or "Loli scout legionaire" and some people even
have sprays of it, which is sexualizing children which is wrong, and illegal and people like Rub1dium get hunted down
through facebook by an absolute creep.What's with all the double standards??????
 
Really xG staff needs to either get more consistent with their policies or just get rid of punishment for slurs altogether
because all you are doing by making slurs this big bad thing is giving the words more power and cultivating absolute SJW
pussies who get triggered at any sort of slur.

I can't quote anything on the forums since I'm on my phone, however, the donator commands you mentioned should be working. I've seen robots on several servers last time I played. Additionally, the TF2 jailbreak MOTD is already huge and there's [or should be] a link to the general MOTD for TF2. I don't think we should make it even longer and keep it the way it is.

I was looking though the guides, and I noticed a few things we might want to update, so I thought I'd pick them out and put them in a nice list.
 
These are just suggestions, the purpose of this thread is to provide a convenient list of suggestions for the staff whom are able to edit the website in order to update our guides. I do not suggest rule changes/edits. I only point out inconsistencies between the rule lists which may be confusing staff and players (and me!).

They are listed in same the order they appear on the guides list page.
 
Hopefully, these potential guide edits will help clear up recent confusion about the rules people have displayed on the forums, as most of these suggestions have to inconsistencies between server rules guides.

✎ "Gain advantage" could easily include using /dis to become something like a bat, which has a small hitbox, and is difficult to see. Even though the disguise is busted in one hit, it's still somewhat of an advantage. Is this allowed?

If you do say something racist or sexist, it must be very minimal and not in an offensive way and if not stopped after a warning, you will be punished severely. The person these comments are directed to and any staff member can at any time state that these are offensive and you must stop immediately.

✏ According to other rule lists, racism (sexism is often not even listed) is not tolerated. Here it is 'frowned upon'?
✏ Huh, maybe mentioning that you are in fact allowed to say sexist/racist things that are very minimal and not offensive on other rule lists would be a good idea. I mean, what if someone says something racist/sexist, but it's satire? Seems like thats why this rule is explained in a full paragraph, but why not so on other rule lists?

If you are a staff member (mod, admin, etc) and you are on an xG server that you have powers in, you MUST wear your admin tags in your STEAM NAME, this is no exception, failure to follow this rule will lead to a demotion. [undercover admin is the exception, but if there is staff on with tags, or you have no reason to be undercover, you may get in trouble.]
