    I think it's safe to assume @Forest myself and several others think that this ban request should be a closed case seeing as the only real thing going for a perma ban as requested was "hacking on an alt" but there is no undeniable proof that it is the same person (just a fishy account, however I have had friends that have used hacks before and they don't even add their account they only add some close friends.)

     

     

    As for the other matter (The Loli spray) I personally believe regardless of the "discussed amongst higher ups before banning" that it is quite frankly BS, we have long standing statutes of ban lengths for this particular reason. It's very clear here that several staff members have their own personal belief on this matter, and that is why there was a blanket time that is meant to be used. It even says that if you ban above or below the posted time for it, that it is admin abuse. The user in question could very well post an abuse thread and you literally cannot deny it is abuse since that is a decree from rhodo himself. regardless of having "higher up discussion"

     

    The user was banned for a month because of combined actions. Me, @virr, @Bello, and @Sesh had agreed that he should be banned for a month because of his conduct. He not only sprayed porn, he was constantly talking about sexual conduct with children, and his name history even shows it. I was the one who pushed for him to be banned for a month. That being said, I don't think extending his ban to a perm is really necessary, he should get another chance to clean up his act.

     

    Anyway, @Bello, @Sesh, @mrnutty12, we ready to close this?

    Also, continuing off of what Chrono said, regardless of what constitutes "child pornography", if it depicts any sort of graphic content (nudity, gore, anything not PG13) then it should not be permitted. With that said, Staff should not be making "exceptions" to this rule in regards to ban time based on their own personal beliefs/opinions.Simply put, if it isn't PG13, tell them to change it. End of story.

     

    As for the ban time, I agree 100% with Chrono; the user should not have been outright banned for 1 month, especially provided that the user does not have any bans prior.

     

    Literally all I want to clear up in this thread, y'all can discuss the hacking aspects of it, but by no means should anyone be issuing extended ban times based on their own beliefs/opinions.

    The unfortunate thing is, there is really no way to connect the two accounts, other than the fact that Volkufspim had the account added at one point. Their IP's do not match, so that is out of the question. I don't think there is going to be any evidence that validates that account being Volkuf's alternate account.

    Considering you were advertising a TF2 hack in your chat history, and your attitude has been nothing but awful in this thread, I am going to -1 for the perm. You have done nothing to help your own case that you were not hacking, even though I am still skeptical about Spoopys evidence, all signs have pointed towards you hacking and/or advertising hacks. -1

    A permanent ban wasn't really necessary since none of the staff took the time to issue a week and month ban. As for the "my brother did it lol" story, it is your account, therefore it is your responsibility. Impersonation of staff is not taken lightly around here, it does have some serious repercussions. I want @Basquiat's opinion on this before I go any further.

    We should have clear examples of what is and isn't allowed really, having a description for each would really clear things up for our players and staff. Unfortunately, having any rules that are up to the discretion of staff does cause confusion and conflict with differentiating opinions of multiple staff members. We either need to make the rules for sprays really strict, or really lenient as a middle ground leaves room for confusion. I'd go more for the lenient side that basically just states no private areas visible (outline/bulges included), no incredibly grotesque/gory sprays, and no sexual acts being performed or implied. This would give players more freedom as well as help them get a better understanding of what is and isn't allowed, though as has been stated, "sexual acts" is really up to staff discretion unless we make it incredibly clear as to what that counts as.

    So, I tried it on an empty server and it didn't crash.

    Then I tried it on surf and it did crash. @Vexx I'll temporary disable it for now (on surf only). I'll try to look into it tomorrow when the server is empty.

    It was also added twice: Once in /tf/addons/sourcemod/plugins/ and once in /tf/addons/sourcemod/plugins/donatorsystem. Not sure if that is what caused it though.

    I think that might be what did it.

    - The community can be toxic, people hardly have anything good to say, either snarky or sarcastic in a non-humorous way.

    You would know of all people that the community can be toxic, any community can be toxic at times. I remember there's even been times where I would say to myself when you would speak "Wow he turned into a real dick."

    About these demos. After looking over them I can say that the guy is not hacking, but has incredibly good game sense. Almost every time a spy is killed, the spy had done something to give themselves away. In the first demo spies had their cloaks flashing constantly, would shoot at him, and even make noises. The weird aiming is due to the guys connection, you can tell by his crouch jumping, it's very jittery due to lag. With the second demo, when he had killed the spy at the end. You may think he is hacking from that instance alone, but after listening to the demo very carefully with music, and voice off I did notice one thing. The spy he had killed was using voicelines, someone using a surround sound headset could use this to find a spy, fishy yes, but not impossible. More importantly, I am actually more annoyed at @Vargas using his /rof command and shooting at the player. I want you guys to go back and watch the demos. Turn voice receive all the way down, as well as the in-game music and listen. I'm going to rule this off as just very, very attentive game sense, no hacking involved.

     

    EDIT: Was informed the spy he killed was not the one using voice lines, but still he heard a spy, which would cause him to check around. Doesn't help that literally 20 seconds before he had taken the same path that the spy was standing in.

    Oh boi I'm back with another thing nerds, and this time I'm talking bout the team killing system. So basically I've noticed this mainly on deathrun (Idk if it happens on other servers) where if you switch teams it will take 50 points from the deaths rank on the server. This is since on deathrun it counts the death as killing you whenever you die so what I've seen is these filthy casuals going on there and when they get stuck in traps they'll just switch to blue and take points away from the death for team killing to mess with them, which is not much but still. So I just wanted to put this out there and see if any of you all had some solutions for this or not unless it's already fixed and I just don't know.

    I'm not sure if I can edit how the GameMe stats work, @Bello what do you think?
