We have it so our Teamspeak server encrypts voice chat so nobody can listen in without you knowing about them. It also does not save chat at all.

Lol. Friends and I switched from Skype to Discord because Skype is absolute garbage.
 
Discord is a solid and easy platform, but I don't see why we'd make one if we already have a Teamspeak ready for us to use.
The Discord UI look a lot better than TS UI though.

discord is literally only used because a. its free and easy to setup for anyone and b. the chat room feature
 
the free/easy part is completely nullified by the fact that we have a 512 slot ts server free for anyone to use, with plenty of rooms where youll be left alone

also if any xG users want to use discord, just make one yourself? lol its basically a better skype for groups

Security? what could happen or what could people abuse with it, may I ask? Reason I ask is because I still prefer teamspeak, but most of the people I play with prefer Discord, and I never do my research. :^)

Never gonna happen. Can't guarentee security for everyone with Discord. Teamspeak is encrypted for everyone so no worries there. Also Time Warner Cable owns Discord so no idea what will happen with it in the future.

Discord servers require active population in it, if it goes empty, the room URL changes. I can see it being used for the upcoming xG Tournaments, but nothing else.

I think this might be a good idea, because some people might prefer discord over TS.

So I'm finally saying goodbye. I don't see very familiar faces here and I don't see myself ever constantly browsing the forums or playing on xG servers again. It was an amazing 5 years. See ya xG, was fun.

FORMAT EDIT: Alright, so I was saying that we could get a plugin that represents the Jailbreak Older CT & T Team Switch Preventer. However instead of it being that it can join only if you use !guard. It would acknowledge the team switch through the admin menu or a staff only known command. This way reds can’t kill anyone, And if people are desperate enough to kill it would be easier to track kills because they only would be killing the staff if anything. Just a thought, although it would be a bit of extra work it would have some benefits. Just a thought.
 
 
A plugin that on join, any staff (player with access to admin and up) will be put on blue team, they can select any team but default would be blue The reds would be anyone not staff, kind of like the old JB team switch thing, instead of it saying (play a little more before switching to blu) like the blocker from switching team without a command... but instead it could be implemented on mesa but instead of the JB message it would say "this team is reserved for staff"

I could set up a plugin that can load certain configs for certain maps.
This way I could increase the spawnprotection to something like 9999 for mesa only, so everyone would pretty much have god mode the entire time, so no spawnkilling would happen.
We used to have the same plugin on TGH to disable +use on edventures.
